Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing ###s into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch ###’s heart and mind. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys. I ask that you make a way for him to visit me soon.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in America, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heart’s longing and lift it before the Lord, trusting in His perfect will and timing. Your prayer reflects a desire for a godly relationship, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s guidance for every step ahead. Let us first affirm the foundation of your request, your reliance on Jesus Christ as the cornerstone of this journey. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name alone that we are saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). We pray that every aspect of this relationship is rooted in Christ, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5).

Father, we come before You with humility, asking that Your will be done in this situation. You know the deepest desires of our sister’s heart, and we trust that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). We pray that You would indeed touch ’s heart and mind, drawing him closer to You and aligning his desires with Yours. Stir within him a godly affection and a commitment to honor You in this relationship. May he see the value in her not just as a woman, but as a daughter of the King, and may he be a man who reflects Christ’s love, selfless, patient, and full of grace (Ephesians 5:25).

We must also address the importance of pursuing this relationship in a manner that honors You, Lord. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Christ’s relationship with the Church (Ephesians 5:31-32). We encourage our sister to seek a relationship that is built on mutual faith in Christ, where both parties are equally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this relationship is to move forward, let it be with the intention of marriage, not merely companionship or convenience. Let there be no room for impurity or compromise, for Your Word is clear that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage alone (Hebrews 13:4). We rebuke any temptation toward fornication or emotional entanglement that does not honor You, and we pray for purity in thought, word, and deed.

Lord, we ask that You shape into a man who embodies the qualities of a godly husband and father. May he be a provider not just materially, but spiritually and emotionally, a man who leads with integrity, loves with sacrifice, and parents with wisdom (1 Timothy 5:8, Colossians 3:21). We pray that if it is Your will, You would open the doors for him to visit her soon, that they may grow in their understanding of one another under Your guidance. Protect their hearts from rushing ahead of Your timing, for You make all things beautiful in Your time (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

We also lift up the desire for a united family. Father, we ask that You prepare the hearts of her boys to receive as a stepfather, should this relationship lead to marriage. May he love them as his own, with the same patience and kindness that You show to us (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). We pray for wisdom in navigating the complexities of blending a family, that Your peace would reign in their home and that Your love would be the foundation of their relationships.

Above all, Lord, we surrender this relationship into Your hands. We ask that You would make Your will clear, whether that means bringing them together in marriage or leading them in separate paths for Your glory. Guard their hearts from idolatry, from placing their desires above Your perfect plan. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guide them in every decision (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against this relationship will prosper, and we rebuke any schemes of the enemy that seek to divide or distract (Isaiah 54:17).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness to complete the work You have begun in their lives. May they both grow in their love for You and for one another, always seeking Your face above all else. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We join you in bringing this to our Father, knowing how deeply you long for a lasting, loving partner and a secure family for your boys. It’s beautiful that you’re laying your hopes before Him and seeking His will above your own, that takes real trust.

As you wait, one practical way to anchor yourself in that trust is to invite a few wise, mature believers from your own local church into this journey. Share what’s on your heart, let them pray with you, and ask them to help you notice things you might not see on your own. Their outside perspective can be a steady gift when hopes feel strong and the future is still unclear.

We understand the dream of a man who would step in as a kind, faithful provider and caring stepfather. Your boys matter deeply, and taking time to let any relationship grow slowly and in community protects both you and them. Sometimes the wisest move isn’t to rush toward a visit or a declaration, but to let godly character show itself over months and across ordinary days, even from a distance. Keep watching for consistency, humility, and a love for Christ more than a spark of romance.

You are not holding these desires alone. We’re praying with you.

Father, thank You for being near to our sister as she trusts You with her future. Guard her heart and her sons. Give her clarity and deep peace as she seeks Your will above all. Surround her with godly counsel, and help her rest in Your timing, not her own. For the man she cares about, we ask that You shape his heart to honor You first, and that Your good purposes unfold in both their lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

As surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, let us rest assured that he is King, willing to do as he pleases. Is it not foolish for a man to feel that he can do as he likes and that everything will fall out as he desires, that he can both propose and dispose, and has not to ask God's consent at all? All that these men of old spoke of doing was to be done entirely in their own strength. They said, "We will. We will." But while many of God's purposes are hidden from us, there is a revealed will which we must not violate. Our best profit will consist of doing God's will.

The work of the Spirit, which is the effect of the will of God, is to change the human will, and so make men willing in the day of God's power. No, but, "I will come in gentleness and mercy, and find a way into their hearts." He did not say, "I will take two great tablets of stone" but, "I will put My finger upon their hearts, and there will I write My Law." God's promise is, "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you." The man who has God's Law written in his heart will go right without a book.

According to Your own heart, have You done all these great things. God's heart is constant in its affection. In our prayers, let us not ask according to the measure of our poor little heart that is so shriveled, cold and weak, but according to God's great heart that is infinite and full of Grace and love! The reason for God's mercy lies not in man, but in God's own heart! He will come to our deliverance in the time of trouble. He will bestow upon us all good things, "No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly." God knows how to speak, not only into the ears, but into the heart.

When the Lord says to us, "Seek you My face," our heart should at once reply, "Your face, Lord, will I seek." This blessedness lies also in the retaining of God's Word in the soul, in the laying it up and storing it and especially in the obeying of it. When I feel I am doing God's will, I am supremely happy. God's promise may tarry, but it never fails.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pour out a desire for a new yearning of the heart, for a flame to be lit in the mind of this man so that he would declare his love, provide, and unite your family. Yet take care that the spark you seek is not the kind lit on a stage, the sort that overthrows households and severs husbands from wives. The theater of the world feeds the eyes with fleeting passions and then sends men and women away discontent with the chaste bond God ordained. Do not let your prayers be shaped by such disorder.

Holiness, in Scripture, means chaste and orderly living. If you are unmarried, that holiness bids you to remain pure, to keep your body and your affections as a garden enclosed. If the way of marriage should open before you, then that same holiness is preserved by cleaving only to your own husband, not permitting fornication. Marriage itself is not an impure thing; it is honorable and pure, but it does not hand you holiness unless it guards what faith has already planted. Use marriage with moderation, and you and your whole household may be first in the kingdom. Yet if you enter it merely to gratify loneliness or ambition, you make an ill use of a good gift.

Consider why you yearn for this man’s visit, for a declaration, for a future in another land. Is it to have leisure for the service of God, to raise your boys in godliness with a partner who is crucified to the world? Or is it the weight of secular occupation that draws you, the comfort of having a provider rather than sharpening your own virtue? I do not condemn second marriage, that is heretical nonsense, but I warn you: the woman who seeks a spouse only in the Lord, for chastity and honor, must first be one who has already learned to attend upon the Lord without distraction. A widow who would be enrolled for ministry must have diligently followed every good work; how much more a mother who hopes to bring a stepfather to her sons?

Therefore, let your prayer be turned. Do not beg God to stir a romance in another’s breast; instead beseech Him to uproot all desire within you that is not perfectly yielded to His will. Ask Him to make you a woman so devoted to every good work, so given to hospitality and prayer, that any man who sees you finds a true connection not in worldly charm but in the fear of the Lord. Wait upon His timing without dictating a move to America or a visit. If the door He has opened leads to a chaste marriage, then the union will be built on communion of life and faith, not on the shifting sand of emotions. But if this path would cause you to neglect godliness, if, for instance, you were tempted to share in any ungodliness for the sake of the relationship, then it is better the bond be loosened than a breach be made in your faithfulness.

The Lord knows your deepest desires for a united family, for a loving partner and a stepfather for your boys. These longings are not sinful in themselves, but they must be offered up with a will that says, “Not my will, but Yours be done.” Walk in peace with all, pursue that holiness without which no one will see God, and trust that a marriage entered into “only in the Lord”, with chastity, with honor, will bring you and your household far more joy than any romance the world can manufacture.

I hear in your prayer a heart full of longing, and it’s right to bring those desires before the Lord. The Scriptures show us that the law of God reaches deep, not just forbidding outward acts but also the strong, covetous desires that can take root inside. Paul once thought a desire was harmless until the Spirit showed him that longing for something not yet given could itself become a snare. We are called to examine those impulses, not to assume every wish is pure, but to lay them openly before God and let His Word sift them.

So when you pray for a genuine romance, a deep spark, and for this man’s heart and mind to be stirred toward you, I would gently ask: are you willing for God to say no to that request? The deepest surrender came from Jesus in the garden: “Not what I will, but what You will.” That is where victory begins. It’s not wrong to offer the Father your suggestions, but the moment we clutch them tightly, demanding their fulfillment, we step into a dangerous place. James warns that so much internal strife and unanswered prayer comes from asking with selfish motives, from envy, and from determination to get what we want. True prayer unveils the heart before God, and then yields to His better wisdom.

Marriage, from the beginning, is God’s divine ideal: a lifelong covenant where two become one flesh. Jesus pointed back before the law to that original intent, because the heart can grow hard and people fail to live up to that high standard. The Mosaic allowance for divorce was never His desire, but arose because of hardness of heart. If there is any history of marital severance here, on either side, then humility recognizes that a new union, while not unpardonable, still falls short of the original design. That doesn’t mean God can’t show mercy and grace, as He did with David and Bathsheba, but it does mean we come into such a situation with a sober reverence, not demanding God’s blessing on our terms.

I also see your vision of a provider, a loving partner, a stepdad to your boys. Those are not wrong desires in themselves. Yet they can become a snare if they become a rigid demand. The Lord often withholds what we crave to reveal where our trust truly lies. He may be calling you to surrender this relationship entirely, not to stop praying, but to release your grip, so that His will alone stands. Is your ultimate treasure the coming of His kingdom, or the arrival of this man? When He calls us to follow, like the fishermen who dropped their nets immediately, He asks for a heart that prizes Him above every earthly attachment.

Bring these longings to Him with open hands. Pray for His will to be done in this man’s life and in yours, even if that means the romance never kindles, the visit never happens, and the family unit remains as it is. Ask the Lord to expose any hidden covetousness and to replace it with a pure desire for what He truly wants. Then wait on Him in peace, not striving. His timing and His way are perfect, and He is able to do more than we conceive. Trust that, if this relationship is part of His plan, He can bring it about without your anxious urgency. If it is not, He has something better, even if it feels like loss now.

May the Spirit guide your heart into a deeper, life-changing union with Christ Himself. Surrender it all tonight, not just with words, but with a genuine letting go. Therein lies the real victory.
