Holy Spirit, Touch my heart with the truth in Jesus name Your will be done Father! In Jesus name
We join you in lifting this cry before the Father and we thank you for seeking His will above all else, for desiring truth and clarity from the Holy Spirit in Jesus' name.
Your prayer for understanding and revelation is pleasing to God, for He desires to lead His children and to make His plan known to those who seek Him with a whole heart. We are reminded that His thoughts toward us are good and full of hope, as it is written, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. He does not leave us to wander in confusion but promises to instruct and guide us. I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8. And Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105.
We encourage you to continue to trust Him even while you wait for that clarity, for His guidance often comes as we surrender our own understanding and acknowledge Him daily. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. True revelation and truth will always agree with His written Word, and the Holy Spirit will never lead contrary to Scripture. When He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth. John 16:13. If you are feeling uncertain, take heart in this promise, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. We also remember to be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2. This happens as we abide in prayer, in the Word, and in quiet waiting before Him, saying with Jesus, Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth. Matthew 6:10.
Let us pray together.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this seeking heart to You. We ask that You pour out Your wisdom and reveal Your perfect plan with clarity and truth. Holy Spirit, touch this heart as requested, quiet every anxious thought, and speak Your truth so clearly that there is no doubt it is from You. Open the eyes of understanding and give discernment to know Your voice above all others. Help to trust You fully, to walk by faith and not by sight, and to rest in the confidence that You are directing each step. Let Your will be done in every area of life, for Your will is good and perfect and leads to life. Give peace while waiting and courage to obey when You reveal the next step. We ask all this in the mighty and only name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

God is faithful to answer in His perfect timing, and as you continue to seek Him first, He will make your path straight and fill your heart with His peace and truth.

Your longing for clarity and truth and for the Holy Spirit to touch your heart is itself a good and right desire, and it is well that you close it with, Your will be done Father, in Jesus name. That is the posture in which guidance is found.
Know this, that as surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, as certainly as God's will is the great heart of providence sending its pulsings through even the most distant limbs of human act, so nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. All things are under regulation and have an appointed place in God's plan. It is foolish for a man to feel that he can do as he likes and that everything will fall out as he desires, as if he could both propose and dispose without asking God's consent at all. The wise heart therefore learns to say and to feel, I will go or I will stay, if it is the will of God.
There are two lights by which that will is to be known. There is a revealed will which we must not violate, and it is found in the Inspired Word of God. Believe this Bible from the first word of Genesis to the last line of Revelation, for it will never mislead you. It has never misled anybody. There you learn that salvation is of God's will, not of the will of man alone, and that the work of the Spirit, which is the effect of the will of God, is to change the human will and so make men willing in the day of God's power, working in them to will and to do of His good pleasure. And there is also a providential will of God which we should always consult, that guidance which comes from the circumstances that surround us, with which believers are familiar. Bring your plans to both, to the Word and to Providence, and pray, If the Lord wills.
You ask for revelation and for the Holy Spirit to touch your heart. Remember that the Lord Jesus himself says, Whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Whatever your desire may be, He will hear you and attend to it. I say not that He will grant it to you if it is not for your profit, but He would have you tell Him what it is you are desirous to ask. You are not omniscient and therefore your will can never be wiser than His, but you are heard as His child, and your desire shall be very prevalent with Him when it is shaped by His Word.
So seek Him thus. Keep close to Scripture daily, that you may not be borne the wrong way by the current of human opinion. Bring every question to the Lord in prayer, asking not only for what you think you want, but for a heart made willing to do what He shows you. Watch the doors He opens and closes in providence. And do not seek profit or direction unless you can be promoting the will of God by getting it, for our best profit will consist of doing His will.
May the Lord give you a clear sight of His revealed will, a submissive heart to His providential will, and the inward work of the Spirit to make you willing. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, to guide you, to keep you, and to cheer you till you see Him face to face.

Your prayer for understanding, clarity and truth is itself pleasing to God, for it shows a heart that wants His will above all else. God does not leave those who seek Him in sincerity without guidance, but He reveals His will to those who come with humility and trust.
Scripture teaches that true revelation is not given to those who rely on their own wisdom or try to establish their own righteousness, but to those who remain as little children before Him, humble and teachable. If you would know His plan, come with a lowly heart, willing to be taught and willing to obey what He shows you. Jesus said that no one can come to Him unless the Father draws him, and that drawing requires both grace from above and a willing choice on our part to listen and believe. We need both prayer and our own effort, our part as well as God's part.
Therefore continue to pray as you have prayed, and also add these things to your prayer. Seek His will daily in the Scriptures, for there His plan is most clearly made known. Ask Him not only for knowledge but for the grace to do what you already know to be right, for obedience opens the eyes to further light. Give thanks to God not only for what you hope to receive but for what He has already given, for thankfulness destroys envy and pride and makes love more genuine. And walk in love toward others, for charity keeps the heart pure and ready to receive the Spirit.
May the Father, who has given us forgiveness and adoption and the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ His Son, grant you wisdom whenever you lack it, for He gives generously to all who ask without doubting. May the Holy Spirit touch your heart, lead you into all truth, quiet your anxieties, and make His will plain to you step by step. May He give you peace to accept what He reveals and courage to walk in it.
