God’s plan

Beloved of All
Need a good understanding, clarity, truth, guidance, revelation❤️‍🩹 Holy Spirit, Touch my heart with the truth in Jesus name Your will be done Father! In Jesus name

We hear your heart crying out for understanding and clarity and we join with you in seeking the truth and guidance that only God can give. Your desire for the Holy Spirit to touch your heart and for the Father's will to be done is beautiful and pleases the Lord, and we stand together with you in Jesus' name asking for revelation.

We are reminded that God delights to give wisdom to those who ask Him. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. When we surrender our own understanding and acknowledge Him, He promises to direct us.

God's plan for you is not hidden to harm you but to give you hope. Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Even when we cannot see the full picture, we can trust His thoughts toward us are good. Romans 12:2 says Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. As we spend time in His Word and in prayer, our minds are renewed and we begin to discern His good and perfect will.

Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would be our guide into truth. John 16:13 says However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth. Psalm 32:8 says I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. And Psalm 119:105 says Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. Clarity often comes step by step as we walk in obedience to the light He has already given through Scripture, prayer, and quiet waiting before Him.

We pray together for you now. Father, we thank You for this heart that longs for Your truth and Your will above all else. In the name of Jesus we ask You to pour out Your Holy Spirit upon our dear one, to touch and soften the heart, to remove confusion and to bring clear revelation. Give understanding where there is uncertainty and give peace where there is restlessness. Help us to be still and to listen for Your still small voice, to trust that You will instruct and teach us in the way we should go. Open Your Word to us and let it be a lamp to our feet. We surrender our own plans and ask that Your will be done in every area of our life. Give us patience to wait on Your perfect timing and faith to follow when You show the next step. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our only way to You and our source of salvation, amen.

We appreciate you sharing this prayer so openly. Wanting clarity and truth and to know you are walking in the Father's will is a good and humble place to be, and we join you in asking the Holy Spirit to meet you there.

Sometimes when we long for revelation we hope for everything at once, but God often guides us one faithful step at a time as we stay close to Him. It can help to quiet the noise a bit and bring one specific question before Him rather than carrying all of them at once.

If it would help this week, try setting aside a few unhurried minutes each day to be still, tell God the one area where you most need clarity, and then sit and listen. You might jot down what comes to mind, what brings peace or concern, and later share those notes with a trusted pastor or mature believer who knows you. Having another steady voice to walk with you can make discernment much clearer.

Father, we bring our friend to You and ask You to touch their heart with Your truth. Quiet what is confusing and make Your will clear in Your timing. Give wisdom for each next step and a deep sense of Your nearness and love as they seek You. Lead them gently and keep them resting in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry for understanding and clarity and truth is itself a hopeful sign, for it shows a heart that would submit itself to the will of God rather than follow its own way. It is not in man that walketh to direct his steps, and blessed is the soul that has learned this and therefore waits upon the Lord for guidance.

Know this, that as surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, so all things are under regulation and have an appointed place in His plan, and nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. Yet His will is not a blind fate which crushes the will of man. The work of the Spirit, which is the effect of the will of God, is to change the human will, and so make men willing in the day of God's power, working in them to will and to do of His good pleasure. Do not therefore seek merely a feeling or an inward impression alone, but pray that the Holy Spirit would make you willing to receive and to obey the truth when it is revealed.

There are two lights by which He guides His people. There is a revealed will which we must not violate, and that revealed will is plainly set before you in the Inspired Word of God. Believe in this Bible from the first word of Genesis to the last line of Revelation. It will never mislead you. It will tell you the truth as to your conduct, as to your condition before God, as to what you are to believe and what you are to do. Be not content unless you get the truth from the mouth of God. Ask for chapter and verse for that which you receive as truth. There you will learn that there was a real Fall, and therefore you need a real Atonement, and that in Christ crucified there is a real pardon for all who trust in Him alone. Of His own will begat He us with the Word of Truth, and salvation is of His will and of His mercy, not of him that willeth nor of him that runneth.

There is also a providential will of God which you should consult with holy caution. With this guidance, which comes from the circumstances that surround you, believers are familiar. Do not make up your mind that you will move, or that you will not move, but wait for guidance from God as to what He would have you do. Never be too positive in your expectations. Learn to say and to feel in your heart, If the Lord will, I will go or I will stay, I will do this or that. It is foolish for a man to say, I will buy and sell and get gain, as though he could both propose and dispose without asking God's consent at all.

Therefore I would counsel you thus. Give yourself to prayer and to the Word. Turn to the Scriptures daily and ask the Lord to open your eyes to His revealed will concerning holiness, obedience, and trust in Christ. Bring your desires before the Saviour, for He says, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee, and He will hear you. Yet remember you are not omniscient, and therefore your will can never be wiser than His. Ask that your desires may be conformed to His wisdom. Wait patiently upon His providence. God's promise may tarry, but it never fails, and the rumbling wagons of affliction and delay are often the very means by which He sends choice treasure and teaches you what you would not learn otherwise.

May the Lord grant you in His own time clear light, not a fleeting impression but the Truth of His salvation operating powerfully upon your mind, proving itself real by giving you peace through the blood of Christ and strength to do His will. May He make you willing to follow whithersoever He leads, and may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, to guide, to keep, and to establish you in every good word and work till He perfect that which concerneth you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your desire to know God's will and to have truth revealed to your heart is itself a good and God honoring prayer, and God delights to answer it. He has not left us without guidance, for He has given us His Word, His Spirit, and His grace to lead us into all truth.

Scripture teaches that God is faithful and will not allow you to be tested beyond what you can bear, but with the trial will also make the way through it so that you can endure. That ability comes from His gracious influence, which we draw down by our own willing and seeking. This is why we need both prayer and obedience. We pray for grace, and we also give our own part by walking in what He has already made clear.

If you seek clarity, begin where He has already spoken plainly. Through the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ we have received forgiveness of sins, adoption as sons and daughters, and the gift of the Holy Spirit. In Christ alone is salvation, and in His Word is the sure path for life. Cherish faith, hope and love, for these remain and are greater than any sign. Love especially is the mark of a disciple, and without it nothing else avails.

So I pray for you now, that the Holy Spirit would touch your heart with truth and give you understanding. May the Father grant you wisdom to discern His will, a love for His Word, and a willing heart to obey what you already know to be true. May He make you thankful not only for His mercy to you but for His goodness to others, which drives out envy and strengthens love. May He lead you away from confusion and into steady obedience, one step at a time, trusting that as you do what is right before Him, He will make the next step clear.

Continue to ask, to seek, and to knock, reading Scripture daily, praying with sincerity, and walking faithfully in the light you have. God who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it and to guide you into His perfect will.

In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer for understanding and clarity is one that God delights to answer, because His heart is to reveal Himself, not to hide Himself. The word that is often translated revelation simply means an unveiling, an uncovering. Many people think of God's plan as a sealed book that cannot be understood, but the truth is the opposite. God has pulled back the covering to show us His Son. What He has given through Jesus Christ, made known by His angel to John, is meant to be seen and understood.

That is important for you right now. The center of all that God is showing is Jesus Himself. When you seek God's will, you are not seeking a hidden blueprint as much as you are seeking a Person. To know Jesus more clearly is to know God's plan more clearly, because He is the true and faithful witness of what the Father is like. As you behold Him in Scripture, the Holy Spirit does His quiet, steady work of shaping you to be like Him.

That is God's purpose for your life. The Spirit wants to conform you to the image of Christ so that you begin to respond as He responds, to love as He loves and to forgive as He forgave. In that way you become His representative in this world, a faithful witness of who He is, just as Jesus faithfully showed us the Father. Clarity often comes not all at once, but as you walk in that calling day by day, keeping His word and trusting His name.

If you are asking for guidance, keep going to the place where He has promised to speak. Bring your heart honestly before Him in prayer, ask the Holy Spirit to touch your heart with truth, and stay in the Scriptures where Jesus is revealed. As you pray Your will be done, you are praying the very prayer Jesus taught us, that the Father's will would be done on earth as it is in heaven. God is faithful to lead a heart that is yielded to Him.

Praying for you that the Lord will give you peace as you wait on Him, that He will open your eyes to see Jesus more clearly, and that by His Spirit He will give you wisdom for each step. May He quiet any confusion and fill your heart with confidence in His love and His leading, and may you be strengthened to walk as His faithful witness where He has placed you, in Jesus name.
