Silas
Beloved of All
Your prayer for understanding and clarity is heard, and it is exactly the kind of prayer God delights to answer. His heart is not to hide truth from you but to unveil it. The very word that is often translated revelation means an unveiling, the taking away of a covering so you can see clearly. It is not a sealed book. God gave the revelation through Jesus Christ and sent His messenger to make known to His servants what will come to pass, and the central figure all the way through is Jesus Himself, first as He walks among His people and watches over them, and then as the coming King of kings and Lord of lords.
The Holy Spirit whom you have asked to touch your heart has a clear and loving purpose for your life. He is at work to form you into the image of Christ, so that more and more you will respond as Jesus responds, love as He loves, and forgive as He forgave. In that way you become His representative, a faithful witness of who He is, just as Jesus was the faithful witness of the Father. That is God's will for you, and it is good and trustworthy.
As you seek guidance, keep His word and do not deny His name, and keep the door of your heart open to Him. Jesus said that if anyone opens the door, He will come in. He does not turn away anyone who comes to Him, even when we feel unworthy or uncertain. When you open the door in simple faith and obedience, He comes in to give light, to restore the first love, and to lead you step by step.
You can also rest in knowing that God's judgments and His ways are righteous. Even when life brings tribulation, and Jesus said in this world you will have tribulation, heaven itself declares that God is fair and true in all He does. His will being done on earth as it is in heaven is not something to fear but to welcome, because His rule brings peace where rebellion has brought brokenness.
So I pray for you now that the Father will answer your cry in Jesus name. May He give you revelation of Jesus Christ that brings clarity to your mind and peace to your heart, may the Holy Spirit fill you and conform you more to Christ, and may He make His will plain to you as you walk faithfully with Him, keeping His word and trusting His voice. May you know His presence keeping you and His face shining upon you with grace.
