We join with you in seeking the Father's perfect will and we thank you for praying in the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and clarity for our lives.

We hear your desire for understanding, truth, guidance and revelation, and for the Holy Spirit to touch your heart. This is a godly and humble prayer, and God delights to answer it. He does not leave His children in confusion, but promises to lead us as we seek Him with our whole heart.

We are reminded that His plan for you is good and full of hope, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. When we lack clarity we are invited to ask Him directly, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. His guidance comes as we trust Him above our own understanding, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6.

The truth you are seeking is found in His Word and revealed by His Spirit. Jesus promised, However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth. John 16:13. The Holy Spirit does not speak apart from the Father's Word, but illuminates it to our hearts. Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105. As we are transformed by renewing our minds in Scripture, we are able to discern His will, Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2. He also promises personal instruction, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8.

We encourage you to continue to dwell daily in the Word, to pray and be still before Him, and to wait patiently for His timing, Show me your ways, Yahweh. Teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth, and teach me, For you are the God of my salvation, I wait for you all day long. Psalm 25:4-5. Often clarity comes step by step as we obey what we already know to be true.

Father, we lift up this seeking heart to You in the name of Jesus. We thank You that You are a God of truth and not confusion, and that Your will is good, pleasing and perfect. We ask You to pour out Your Holy Spirit upon this life in fresh measure, to touch the heart and open the eyes to see Your truth clearly. Grant wisdom liberally, remove any doubt or fear, and make Your path straight and plain. Help this dear one to hear Your voice, to trust You with all the heart, and to walk in obedience to Your Word. Let Your will be done in every area of this life as it is in heaven, and give peace that passes understanding while waiting for Your perfect revelation. We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We hear how much you want to know God's plan and to have His truth really settle in your heart. That hunger for clarity and for His will to be done is a good place to be, even when it feels unsettled to wait.

Wanting a clear revelation right away is understandable. In our experience God often guides us less like a sudden flash and more through an ongoing relationship. He uses His Word, time in prayer, the way He has gifted each of us, and the counsel of wise believers who know us well. As we keep walking faithfully in what we already know honors Him, the next steps often become clearer over time.

One simple next step that helps many people is to set aside one unhurried time this week to bring your specific questions before the Lord, read Scripture slowly, and jot down what seems to stand out to you. Then share those notes with a trusted pastor or mature believer who can listen and help you weigh what you are hearing. That kind of conversation often brings perspective we cannot get on our own.

We are praying for you as you seek Him.

Father, we ask You by Your Holy Spirit to touch this heart with Your truth. Bring clarity where there is confusion and give wisdom to discern Your will. Draw them closer to You as they seek You and lead them step by step. In Jesus name, amen.

It is a good and needful prayer you have offered, to desire a clear understanding of God's plan and to ask that the Holy Spirit should touch the heart with truth and that the Father's will should be done.

Know this, that as surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, and as certainly as it is the great heart of providence sending its pulsings through even the most distant limbs of human act, so in grace we may rest assured that He is King, willing to do as He pleases, having mercy on whom He will have mercy. All things are under regulation and have an appointed place in God's plan, and nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. To pray, Your will be done, is therefore the wisest prayer a creature can pray, for you are not omniscient and your will can never be wiser than His.

There are two ways in which that will is to be sought. There is a revealed will which we must not violate, and there is a providential will which we should always consult. The revealed will is found in the Inspired Word of God. Believe this Bible from the first word of Genesis to the last line of Revelation, for it will never mislead you, it has never misled anybody, and it is preserved century after century that you might know the truth. There you will find that salvation is of God's will, and that the preservation, the perseverance and the eternal glory of His people rests upon His will. Yet the will of man is not ignored, for the work of the Spirit, which is the effect of the will of God, is to change the human will, and so make men willing in the day of God's power, working in them to will and to do of His good pleasure.

The providential will comes with guidance from the circumstances that surround us, with which believers are familiar. Therefore do not say merely, we will go, we will buy, we will sell, we will get gain, as those who feel they can both propose and dispose without asking God's consent. Rather say, and feel in your heart even when the lips do not speak it, I will go or I will stay, if it be the will of God. Seek not even honest gain unless you can be promoting the will of God by getting it, for our best profit will consist in doing His will.

If you would have clarity and revelation, bring your desire plainly to Christ, for He still says, What do you want Me to do for you. Whatever your desire may be, He will hear you and attend to it. He would have you tell Him what it is you are desirous to ask. Let the riches of His glory, rather than the meanness of your own estate, measure the compass of your requests. And remember His gracious invitation, Whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and it is by His grace that the heart is opened to understand truth.

My prayer for you is that the Lord would give you a teachable spirit, that you would keep close to the Word and to prayer, and that the Holy Spirit would so work upon your will as to make you willing to follow whatsoever He shall show you to be right. May you be kept unspotted from the errors of the world, whose current will always bear you the wrong way if you yield to it, and may you be guided into all truth as you wait upon the Lord.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, and may He who has begun a good work in you carry it on till He brings you to His glory. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, I ask that the Father would grant you light, truth, and a settled peace in doing His will. Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your prayer for understanding, clarity, truth and guidance is heard, and it is good that you ask that the Father's will be done and that the Holy Spirit would touch your heart with the truth in Jesus name.

God reveals His truth not to those who trust in their own wisdom but to humble hearts. As Christ said, these things are hidden from the wise in their own eyes and revealed to babes. If we approach Him with humility, willing to submit to His righteousness rather than establish our own, He will give light. That light comes most surely through His Word. The Spirit does not lead apart from Scripture but opens our eyes to understand it, to love what God loves and to walk in His ways. Continue therefore in prayer and in steady reading of the Scriptures, asking God to make you teachable and modest before Him.

We also need both prayer and our own active obedience. Grace is God's gift, and we are saved by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ alone, yet grace calls us to respond. Pray earnestly as you are doing, and also walk in what God has already made clear. Obey what you know today, and more clarity will be given for tomorrow. Even when we are strong in faith we still need grace from Him every day, and He gladly gives it to those who ask.

In that spirit, cultivate thankfulness as you wait. Give thanks not only for what you hope to receive but for what God has already done for you and for others. A thankful heart destroys envy and pride and makes love more genuine, and it keeps the heart quiet while God works.

Let us pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask that You grant clarity and true understanding according to Your will. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon this heart that seeks You. Remove confusion and grant revelation that is rooted in Your Word. Teach humility and trust, and help to live out what You have already revealed. Let Your will be done in every part of life, and let Your truth dwell richly within. Grant peace while waiting, and faith to follow where You lead. We ask this in the name of Jesus, through whom we have forgiveness, adoption and eternal life. Amen.
