We come before the Lord with a humble and seeking heart, lifting up this request for God’s plan to be made clear. Father, we know that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). You have a perfect and sovereign will for each of Your children, and we ask that You reveal it with clarity, truth, and wisdom. Lord, we recognize that without You, we can do nothing (John 15:5), and so we surrender our own plans, desires, and confusion at Your feet.
Holy Spirit, we invite You to move mightily in this situation. Touch this heart with Your truth, for Your Word says that when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide us into all truth (John 16:13). We ask for revelation, open the eyes of the heart to see and understand the path You have set before them. Remove any doubt, fear, or deception that may cloud their vision, and replace it with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Father, let Your will be done in their life, just as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).
We also lift up the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is by His blood that we are made righteous and able to stand before You. Lord, we thank You for the gift of salvation and the privilege of coming boldly to Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). May this truth anchor their heart as they seek Your will.
Father, we pray against any confusion or distraction that the enemy may try to bring. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke any lies or half-truths that may have taken root, and we declare that the truth of Your Word will prevail. Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105), and we trust that as they seek You with all their heart, they will find You (Jeremiah 29:13).
We encourage this dear one to draw near to You through prayer, fasting, and the study of Your Word. Meditate on Scripture day and night, for then they will be prosperous and successful in whatever they do (Joshua 1:8). Surround yourself with godly counsel, those who will speak truth in love and hold you accountable to walk in Your ways. Remember, the plans You have for us are plans for welfare and not for evil, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that long to know and walk in Your perfect will. We ask that You would reveal Your plan with clarity and truth. Holy Spirit, touch this heart and mind, removing any confusion or doubt. Fill them with Your peace and wisdom as they seek You. Lord, we declare that Your Word will be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path. May they trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding, acknowledging You in all their ways so that You may direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Father, we pray for revelation, open their eyes to see the good works You have prepared for them to walk in (Ephesians 2:10). Give them the courage to step out in faith, even when the path is unclear, knowing that You are with them always (Matthew 28:20). We rebuke any spirit of fear or hesitation and declare that perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). May they walk in the confidence of Your promises, knowing that You who began a good work in them will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect timing. May Your will be done in this life, and may Your name be glorified in all things. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
