When you cry out for God’s love and forgiveness, you are standing on the surest ground there is. That kind of love is not something you have to earn or stir up on your own, it is the divine, self-giving love that held nothing back, that sent Jesus to take your sins so you could be washed clean. His love for you is not caused by anything in you; it flows to you freely, and nothing can quench it. The forgiveness He offers is not shallow or temporary. It is as deep as the cross, and it becomes the pattern for how you can now forgive.

The emotional attacks coming through your husband and your ex are exhausting, and they can leave you feeling dried up inside. But remember that the forgiveness you have received from God is the measure of the forgiveness He now asks you to extend. This does not mean dismissing what is happening or pretending it does not hurt. It means that in the strength of His Spirit, you can choose to respond with a love that does not depend on how others treat you. That is the agape love, a giving love, a love that acts for the other person’s good even when it is costly. It is not the flimsy thing the world calls love; it is other-centered rather than self-centered. When you walk in that, you are not merely reacting to attacks but standing firm in who God has made you to be.

Your daughter is precious to Him. Lift her up in prayer, trusting that His love can reach into her heart and bring healing in places you cannot touch. Ask that her soul would be filled with the knowledge that she is loved with an everlasting love, not a love that depends on circumstances or the turmoil around her, but the steady, faithful love of God. As you pray, let your own heart rest in the hope that comes from Him. Faith and hope are both wrapped up in this love. Love believes all things, hopes all things. So as you trust Him, you can hope for your daughter, and you can believe that God is at work even in this tangled situation.

When the enemy whispers that you are defeated, take hold of the helmet of salvation. Remind yourself that you have been saved from the tyranny of a life mastered by fear and bitterness. Put on that protection and declare that your soul is at rest because your expectation is in the Lord. He is your example: while you were still in sin, He loved you and gave Himself for you. Now, as you face hostility, you can walk in that same love, not a gushy imitation, but a pure, fervent love that chooses to bless and not curse.

May the love of God flood every dry and weary place within you. May His forgiveness refresh you and empower you to forgive. May you know, deep in your spirit, that you are not alone in this battle, for His Spirit intercedes and His hand holds you fast.

Father, in Jesus’ name, we ask that You would pour out Your love and forgiveness upon Your daughter. Guard her heart and mind, and give her the strength to respond to adversity with kindness and with love. Heal her daughter from every wound, and fill that young life with the certainty of Your love. Silence the voices of accusation and fear, and let peace rule. We trust in Your power, for You can do all things. Amen.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our heart to lift you up before the Father, asking for His overwhelming love and forgiveness to surround you, especially as you face these emotional attacks and the challenges with your husband and ex. We have also been praying earnestly for your precious daughter, that God’s healing love would fill her heart and bring restoration to her emotions.

If you’ve seen God move in these situations—if His peace has begun to guard your heart, if His love has brought clarity or healing—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report. Your testimony could be a blessing to others walking a similar path. If, however, the weight still feels heavy and the answers haven’t yet come, please know we are still here. Post this request again, and we will continue to stand in agreement with you, believing God for breakthrough and comfort.

May the Lord draw near to you in this season, reminding you of His unfailing love and the power of His forgiveness. Keep seeking Him, trusting that He hears your cries and is at work even when you can’t see it. We pray this in Jesus’ mighty name.
