Disciple of Prayer
Need Gods love and forgiveness. Been getting attacked emotionally and attacked through my husband and my ex whome we share a daughter. Also lifting up my ### year old daughter in prayer for her emotional healing and Gods love to fill her. In Jesus name.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your deep need for God’s love and forgiveness. The emotional attacks you describe, coming through your husband, your ex, and even affecting your precious daughter, are not from the Lord. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of strife, division, and emotional torment in the name of Jesus Christ. These attacks have no place in your home, your heart, or your daughter’s life.

First, we must address the foundation of your request: you have rightly come in the name of Jesus, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no forgiveness, no love, and no healing apart from Christ. If you have not already, we encourage you to examine your heart and ensure you have placed your full trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Salvation comes by grace through faith in Him alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you have done this, we rejoice with you! If not, we urge you to confess your sins, repent, and receive Jesus as your Savior today, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

Now, let us pray for you and your family. Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy. We ask that You pour out Your love upon our sister, filling every empty place in her heart. Lord, she is under attack, and we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask for Your forgiveness to wash over her, cleansing her from every accusation, every lie, and every wound. Help her to forgive those who have hurt her, just as You have forgiven her (Colossians 3:13). We pray for her husband, that You would soften his heart and draw him to repentance if he has been used as a tool of the enemy. Restore what has been broken in their marriage, Lord, and let Your peace reign in their home.

We also lift up her daughter, precious in Your sight. Father, we ask that You heal her emotionally and fill her with Your love. Protect her mind and heart from the turmoil around her. Surround her with Your angels and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way. Give her a hunger for Your Word and a desire to walk closely with You. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we speak life and healing over her.

Lord, we ask that You break every generational curse and every cycle of strife in this family. Let Your love be the foundation they build upon. Strengthen our sister to stand firm in faith, knowing that You are her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We encourage you to stand on God’s promises. Meditate on His Word, for it is life and health to your flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22). Surround yourself with godly community, believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy thrives in secrecy and loneliness. Remember, "though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken" (Ecclesiastes 4:12). Invite the Lord into every area of your life, including your marriage and co-parenting relationship. Seek His wisdom in how to navigate these relationships with grace and truth.

If there is any unconfessed sin in your life, bitterness, unforgiveness, or anything else, we urge you to bring it before the Lord. Confess it, repent, and receive His cleansing (1 John 1:9). Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. It only hurts you. Release it to God and trust Him to bring justice in His time.

Lastly, we want to gently address the mention of your ex-husband and the child you share. While we understand the complexities of co-parenting, we must remind you that God’s design for marriage is one man and one woman for life (Matthew 19:4-6). If there has been any sexual immorality or ongoing emotional entanglement with your ex, we urge you to repent and seek godly counsel to align your life with Scripture. Your marriage covenant is sacred, and we pray for its restoration if it is God’s will. If your husband is not a believer, we pray that your godly conduct would win him over without a word (1 Peter 3:1-2).

We stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). You are not alone. The Lord is your shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters and restore your soul (Psalm 23). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

We are holding you and your daughter close in prayer today. The emotional weight you are under, feeling attacked from so many directions, is heavy, and we can hear the exhaustion in your words. When you ask for God’s love and forgiveness, it tells us your heart is reaching for the one true anchor, even in the thick of it. So right here, let us simply rest in this: God’s love for you is not a prize you earn by feeling peaceful or getting everything right. It is already yours, fully and freely. His forgiveness is not a far-off hope; it is the open door He holds for you in every moment.

When emotional attacks come, they can make everything seem urgent and overwhelming. But those feelings, real as they are, do not have the final say over who you are or who God is. Sometimes the most defiant thing we can do in the middle of turmoil is pause, breathe, and speak quietly to Jesus: “I receive Your love right now.” No long prayer needed, just a turning of your heart. That simple act pushes against the lies that you are alone or unloved.

For your daughter, we join you in asking for her emotional healing. Children pick up on so much, and her heart matters. You are giving her a great gift by lifting her up like this. Keep being a safe place for her, even if you don’t have all the answers. God sees her tears, and He is able to pour His love into the wounded places in ways you cannot.

We pray: Lord Jesus, wrap this woman in Your steady peace. Let Your love and forgiveness sink deep into the worn places of her spirit. Guard her mind from the constant barrage, and give her glimpses of Your nearness today. Hold her daughter tenderly, bring emotional healing and fill her with Your love. Be their defender and their rest. Amen.

You come, bowed down with the weight of your sins and the sting of attacks from those nearest to you, longing for a sight of God’s love and the cleansing flood of His forgiveness. This is no strange thing to the ear of grace. Even the publican, who dared not lift his eyes, went down to his house justified. And so I say to you, there is forgiveness with God, a divine, full, eternal forgiveness. He has said, “I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.” Do but look to the Cross, for that is the window through which His love is best seen. There the great heart of God bled out its affection, and now He waits to speak the word of peace to your soul. Do not dream that your faults are too great or your heart too hard. The chief of sinners may have the chief of sinner’s forgiveness, and that right now. “I believe in the forgiveness of sins”, believe it for yourself.

As for these attacks that come through your husband and the father of your daughter, remember that even this is not without love. Everything God sends to His people is love, sometimes love in a disguise, but love nonetheless. If He chastens, it is love. If He frowns in the troubles you feel, it is yet love. The flame burns hottest when the dross is being purged. Your Lord Himself was despised and opposed by those of His own household, and He knows what it is to be wounded in the house of His friends. Cast your burden on Him. Love accomplishes what mere resentment never can. And if you would know peace amid the strife, learn to love His Word, for those who love His law have great peace, and nothing shall make them stumble.

For your dear little daughter, lift her up by faith into the arms of Him who gathers the lambs. The same Love that watches over you watches over her. Plead the promise that He will gather the outcasts and bind up the broken-hearted. Her emotional healing shall come as the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings. God does not stay to love us until we are whole; He loves us into wholeness. He will fill her with that love which casts out fear, and she shall call Him, in spiritual nearness, her own. Lay hold on the covenant for your child; the God of all grace has a peculiar tenderness for the seed of those who cry to Him.

Rest in this: He has loved you with an everlasting love, and therefore with lovingkindness is He drawing you. No matter the tempest, the Pilot is at the helm. Love Him much, for you are forgiven much. Show your love by clinging to Him amid the storm, and let your life breathe the sweet perfume of love born of His own. May that love never be quenched, but burn brighter until the day when He Himself shall wipe away every tear.

Father, pour out Your love and forgiveness upon her. Protect her from emotional attacks, and bring peace to her relationships with her husband and her ex. Heal her daughter's heart and fill her with Your unfailing love.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

- *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."* (Psalm 34:18)

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Do not let these emotional attacks drive you to despair, but see them as a summons to a more fervent dependence upon God. The devil often strikes hardest when deliverance is near, so take courage; your conflict may be reaching its glorious end. Meanwhile, seek from God that contrite and humbled heart which is His own gift, for true forgiveness sprouts from such soil. Approach Him daily, even through tears, and ask for the lovingkindness that renews every morning. He does not turn away the broken.

And regarding those through whom the attack comes, your husband and your ex: here is the high calling. To love for God’s sake is to be disposed toward all as brothers, not just when they deserve it, but precisely when they wrong you. This is what makes us like God, not working wonders, but showing mercy to the unworthy. Enlarge your heart as Paul’s was enlarged for the Corinthians, not measuring their love, but pouring out your own. Your daughter is watching, and she needs not only your prayers but the living example of a soul anchored in God’s love rather than the shifting approval of others. Show her that hearing His commandments and clinging to them is the surest proof of love for Christ. The very storm that buffets your household can become the school of holiness for you both, where forgiveness is learned and the chains of bitterness are broken by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
