god

We hear your deep distress and cry out to God with you, lifting your plea to the throne of grace. The pain and fear in your words are heavy, and we stand with you in this moment, seeking the Lord’s protection, peace, and justice.

First, we must address your cry to "god" without the name of Jesus. Scripture is clear that there is only one way to the Father, and that is through Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to turn to Him in repentance and faith. He is the only mediator between God and humanity (1 Timothy 2:5), and it is only through His name that we can approach the Father with confidence. If you are already a believer, we encourage you to pray specifically in the name of Jesus, for His name carries authority and power.

Now, regarding your plea for protection, whether it is from people who have caused you harm, oppressed you, or brought fear into your life, we declare that the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). The Bible assures us that God is a shield to those who take refuge in Him (Proverbs 30:5). We rebuke any spirit of fear, intimidation, or oppression in the name of Jesus, for "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). If those you fear are seeking to harm you, we pray that the Lord would intervene, confuse their plans, and turn their hearts away from evil. If they are unrepentant, we ask that God would bring conviction and justice according to His perfect will.

If these individuals are family members, former friends, or others who have betrayed or hurt you, we also pray for your heart to be guarded against bitterness. The Lord calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13), but forgiveness does not mean allowing toxic or abusive people back into your life. Boundaries are biblical, and sometimes the most loving thing we can do, for ourselves and for others, is to distance ourselves from those who refuse to walk in repentance and righteousness. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB).

We also want to gently address the possibility that your fear may be rooted in spiritual warfare. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that you might have life abundantly. We rebuke any demonic assignment against you in the name of Jesus. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB). Stand firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is crying out for Your protection and deliverance. Lord, You see the fear, the pain, and the weight they are carrying. We ask that You would be their shield, their fortress, and their deliverer. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). If there are people who seek to harm them, we ask that You would intervene, change hearts, or remove them from this person’s life according to Your perfect will.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus. Fill this one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. If there is unforgiveness or bitterness, soften their heart to release it to You, but also give them wisdom to set godly boundaries. If this fear is rooted in spiritual attack, we declare that the enemy has no authority here. Jesus has already won the victory, and we stand on that truth.

Lord, if this one does not yet know You as Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Draw them to Yourself, reveal Your love and grace, and let them experience the freedom that comes only through Jesus Christ. For those who do know You, strengthen their faith. Remind them that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).

We ask all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. Memorize and meditate on Scriptures like Psalm 91, which declares that those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High will abide under the shadow of the Almighty. You are not alone, and you are not without hope. If these fears persist, consider reaching out to a trusted pastor, counselor, or mature believer who can pray with you and offer biblical guidance. The Lord is your defender, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

We hear the desperation in those words, and we’re grateful you brought them here. When fear tightens its grip like that, it can feel like you’re alone in a dark place, with no way out. Even the prophet Elijah, after a stunning victory, collapsed under a weight of terror and dread, hiding in a cave and begging God to end his life. God didn’t scold him or rush past his anguish. He sent rest, quiet provision, and a still, small voice, reminding Elijah that he wasn’t alone and that his story wasn’t over. The same God notices your cry right now, and He is not unmoved.

We don’t know who “they” are or what a return might mean, but we do know that you’re carrying real fear, and that matters. While we pray, it’s also wise to think practically: if this person poses a genuine threat to your safety, please consider telling someone you trust, a friend, a family member, a pastor. You don’t have to manage this entirely on your own. Sometimes God’s care shows up through the people who can walk alongside you.

Father, we ask You to step into this situation and be a strong defense. Shelter this one from harm, and calm the racing heart that dreads what might come. Let Your peace, the kind that doesn’t make sense in the middle of trouble, guard their mind. Give clear wisdom about what to do and who to call on. We don’t always see the end, but we trust that You are present in the fear and in the waiting. In Jesus’ name.

You have cried out from the depths of a frightened heart, "Let them not return!" The iron furnace of your fear has heated seven times hotter, and you dread the footsteps of the oppressor. But remember, deliverance is of the Lord alone. It is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy. The arm that broke the bars of Egypt breaks every yoke; the enemy you hear in the distance is already under the restraint of omnipotence.

And yet, while you tremble at their coming, have you fully returned to the Lord from every evil way? The destroyer, with subtle entreaty, ever pleads, "Return, return," to old sins and broken cisterns. If you are clinging to any forbidden thing, the hedge of protection is weakened, and fear gains entrance. But if your heart is fixed upon His name, then the arrow of the Lord's deliverance has already been shot against the foe. He has found a ransom, and He will not forsake them that seek Him. None can pluck you from His hand.

Be not swallowed up by the fear of death or harm. The voice of God bids you to trust, not to terror. He who delivered the three from the burning fiery furnace walks with you in the flame. They shall not come back except as instruments to drive you to the mercy seat, and even then, they cannot touch the real life of your soul. Only return to your first love, walk in the light of His countenance, and you shall sing at the wells of salvation, for the Lord has said, "No weapon formed against thee shall prosper." That is enough. Let the tempest howl; the Master of the storm is in the vessel, and He says, "Peace, be still."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry pierces heaven, yet let your soul be still. What is there to fear for one who fears God? All that is dreadful is for others, not for you. If your conscience is clear, if you stand in Christ, no evil can truly touch you. The one who sees the light of this world is in safety; how much more you who are with Him, unless you separate yourself from His grace.

Do not fix your gaze on those you dread, but on the unspeakable power of the Lord. He sends His own as sheep among wolves, yet the wolves do not prevail. He does not always grant deliverance from the trial, but He grants something greater: a heart that despises danger and even rejoices in suffering for His sake. When you are delivered from your passions, all present things become a shadow. Flee to the Rock that cannot be shaken. There is no enemy, no robber, no threat that can steal the peace Christ gives. Let your prayer not be only that they stay away, but that you be made worthy of that better resurrection, where no fear can enter.

Your cry has been heard. You are pleading that certain harm would not return to you, and that ache in your prayer does not go unnoticed before the Lord. The deepest safety is never found in any defense we can fashion for ourselves. A horse is prepared for the day of battle, but true deliverance belongs to the Lord alone. Unless He guards the city, the watchman stands in vain.

There is a mighty pattern woven through Scripture: God delights in making a way where no way seems possible. When His people stood trapped at the sea with the enemy pressing in, He split the waters, and the horse and rider were thrown into the deep. He has not changed. He can sweep away every threat with hailstones, with fire, with whatever means He chooses, for the point is that He alone is our refuge.

Make your home in that one secure place. Jesus is our true city of refuge. As long as you abide in Him, staying inside the gates He provides, the avenger cannot touch you. Do not let the weariness of your heart draw you out beyond those boundaries into fear or into the old desolate patterns of the flesh. The life of the flesh always promises a safety it can never deliver. Egypt looked like shelter, but it was only a house of bondage. Do not go back, even in your imagination. The only safe ground is under the blood of the Lamb, where the destroyer must pass over.

Fix your eyes on Him again. His truth is a shield. He spreads wings both of comfort and of protection. You may lie down and rest, and your fears can subside, for the wicked will not escape, their eyes will fail. Your own boundaries are known to God. No enemy can cross the limits He appoints for your life without His permission. And when He acts, it is often to display His glory in a deliverance so unmistakable that you will join the song of Moses. There is coming a day when fear and dread will fall upon everything that once threatened you, and you will take up your tambourine in praise.

So cry out to Him, and then rest. Stay within the fortress of abiding in Christ. He knows how to rescue the righteous and to set a hedge where it must stand. Your prayer is not lost. The One who watches over you neither slumbers nor sleeps.
