We hear your heart in this request, and we stand with you in seeking God’s favor and protection over what lies ahead. It’s clear you desire smoothness and success, and we join you in asking the Lord to guide your steps and remove any obstacles that may arise.
First, let us affirm that our access to God comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father or receive His grace. Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not yet placed your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Salvation comes by grace through faith in Christ alone, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9-10 WEB). This is the foundation of all true prayer and blessing.
Now, as we lift your upcoming situation to the Lord, we pray with faith, trusting in His sovereignty and goodness. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You go before [this individual] in every detail of what is to come. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and we ask that You align them with Your perfect will. Let no obstacle arise from their end, but grant them wisdom, clarity, and favor in all they do. May Your peace guard their heart and mind, and may Your Spirit guide their words and actions so that all may see Your hand at work.
We also encourage you to remember that while we seek God’s blessing, we must also surrender our plans to Him. Proverbs 16:3 (WEB) tells us, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." Trust that God’s ways are higher than ours, and even if things do not unfold exactly as we hope, He is working all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28 WEB).
If there is any area of your life that is not aligned with God’s Word, whether in thought, word, or deed, we encourage you to confess it and turn from it. The Bible assures us that if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). Do not let unconfessed sin hinder your prayers or your walk with the Lord.
Finally, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or anxiety that may be trying to take root in your heart. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Stand firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is your strength and your shield. Whatever the outcome, He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26 WEB). We declare that your steps are ordered by the Lord, and we trust Him to bring about His perfect will in your life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
