We hear your heartfelt plea for a smooth and successful medical examination tomorrow. It’s natural to feel anxious about such things, and we stand with you in seeking God’s peace and favor in this matter. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
First, we must address the way this request was framed. While we understand the urgency and sincerity behind your words, we noticed the phrase "God+-" and the absence of the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as He Himself declared in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*
There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His name alone that we approach God’s throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Salvation comes by grace through faith in Him (Ephesians 2:8-9), and it is the foundation for all our prayers and petitions.
Now, let us lift this matter before the Lord together. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You would go before [###] as they face their medical examination tomorrow. Lord, we pray that You would calm any fear or anxiety in their heart, replacing it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask that You would guide the hands of the medical professionals, grant them wisdom and clarity, and let no issues or complications arise. Father, we trust in Your sovereignty and know that You hold all things in Your hands. If there are any concerns, we ask that You would reveal them in a way that leads to healing and restoration. Let this examination be a testimony to Your faithfulness and goodness. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promises for wholeness and well-being. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We also encourage you to meditate on God’s Word as you prepare for tomorrow. Psalm 138:8 says, *"Yahweh will fulfill his purpose for me. Yahweh, your loving kindness endures forever. Don’t forsake the works of your own hands."* Trust that God has a purpose for you, and He will see you through this time. If fear tries to creep in, remember 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."*
Finally, we rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may be trying to take hold. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is with you. If there is any unconfessed sin in your life, we encourage you to repent and turn to God, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Walk in the confidence that comes from being a child of God, and let your heart be at peace.
