๐ŸŒŽ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒ God You Rule Over Nations Ps 24:1, Restrain Evil, Dan 10:13, Guide Leaders, Prov 21:1, We Pray for them,1 Tim 2:1-2, Salvation, 1 Tim 2:3-4... ๐Ÿ™ Father, we confess with the great multitude in heaven, shouting praise, The Lord God Omnipotent Reigns, Rev 19:6... Reign! Ride forth victoriously for the sake of Truth, Humility and Justice, Ps 45:3-4! Restrain Evil, Jn 17:15, We Pray FOR All in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, SAVE OUR LEADERS and THOSE IN OTHER NATIONS around the world to govern justly in Jesus' Name, 1 Tim 2:3-4... ๐Ÿ™Œ Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden of this Earth to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries, even restrain him over all nations, Jn 16:11, asking You intercept evil plans, miraculously, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 1 Sam 20:9, 1 Sam 20:27-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, Josh 6:20, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149:1-5, Ps 150:1-5, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, Eph 5:32-33, imitating God, Eph 5:1, even Jesus, who also intercedes for us, Rom 8:34, since You ever live to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will, Eph 1:11, -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We lift our voices together in agreement with your powerful declaration of Godโ€™s sovereignty over all nations. Truly, the earth is the Lordโ€™s and everything in it, as Psalm 24:1 declares. We stand on the truth that He rules over the kingdoms of men and gives them to whomever He wills (Daniel 4:17). Father, we acknowledge that You alone hold the nations in Your hand, and we humbly ask that You restrain the evil one, just as You did in the days of Daniel when Michael the archangel stood against the prince of Persia (Daniel 10:13). We pray that You would intercept and dismantle every evil plan set against Your people and Your purposes, just as You revealed the schemes of Syria to Elisha (2 Kings 6:12) and the intentions of Saul to David (1 Samuel 20:3, 9, 27-42).

Lord, we bind the spirit of retaliation that seeks to fuel conflict among nations. We ask that You would back the evil one away from leaders and strategists, that they may be freed from deception and guided by Your wisdom. We declare that praise and worship will rise up as a weapon against darkness, just as the walls of Jericho fell at the sound of Your peopleโ€™s shouts (Joshua 6:20). Let the name of the Lord be praised from the rising to the setting of the sun (Psalm 113:3), and let Your truth, humility, and justice prevail in every land (Psalm 45:3-4).

We pray for all who are in authority, as 1 Timothy 2:1-2 instructs, that You would grant them wisdom, discernment, and a heart for righteousness. Father, we ask that You would save our leaders and the leaders of nations, that they may come to the knowledge of the truth and govern justly (1 Timothy 2:3-4). Lead them not into temptation but deliver them from evil (Matthew 6:13), for we know the devil prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). We are not ignorant of his schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11), and we stand against him in the authority of Jesusโ€™ name, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We cry out for the Church to rise as Your helpmeet, fulfilling her calling as a holy nation and royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9). May we imitate Christ, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil (Acts 10:38). Father, we confess that we have not always been faithful to this calling, and we repent for the times we have been silent or complicit in the face of injustice. Forgive us, and renew our passion to walk in the works You have prepared for us (Ephesians 2:10). Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

We ask that You would spoil the evil oneโ€™s plans, turning them back upon his own head, so that all things may conform to Your perfect will (Ephesians 1:11). Though these battles are beyond our strength, we trust in Your power to intervene. We confess our sins and the sins of our nation, standing in the gap as Daniel did (Daniel 9:20), and we plead for Your mercy and grace. Restrain the evil one even now, as You have promised to do in the last days (Revelation 20:2), and let us rejoice in the authority You have given us over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Yet, even more, let us rejoice in the salvation that is ours through Jesus Christ, for our names are written in heaven (Luke 10:20).

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for the victory that is already ours in Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords, to whom be all glory, honor, and power forever and ever. Amen.

We read your prayer and are moved by the depth of your cry for the nations. The weight of a troubled world presses hard, and itโ€™s clear you are spending yourself before the throne of grace for leaders and peoples you may never meet. That kind of faithful intercession is a costly and beautiful gift.

What strengthens us in seasons like this is remembering that you never carry the burden alone. Even as you pray, the Lord Jesus Himself continually intercedes before the Father. Your groans are caught up into His perfect, eternal prayer, they are never lost or unheard. The mighty, risen Christ shares your concern and far surpasses it in both wisdom and power.

At the same time, long seasons of carrying global burdens can drain us if we walk them in isolation. Have you considered inviting two or three trusted friends to join you regularly, say, once a week, to pray through specific nations or leaders? Sharing the load not only lightens your own heart but often sharpens focus and deepens hope. When the early church faced earthly powers, they lifted their voices together, and God shook their circumstances. We believe He still works that way.

Thank you for standing in the gap. We are honored to stand with you.

Lord Jesus, Ruler of every nation, refresh this dear intercessor right now. Renew their strength, fill them with Your peace, and give them companions to share the burden. Restrain the evil one, guide the nations according to Your will, and let Your church rise up in faithful, united prayer. In Your mighty name, amen.

There is no burden so heavy for this poor world as the burden that is borne upon the knees of Godโ€™s people. The prayer you have lifted, saturated with Scripture and groaning for the nations, ascends as incense before the throne. Remember that intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears. Do not question it, for the prayer of Christ is of this character. When you cry for the restraint of the evil one over unruly countries, you are touching the very scepter of the Sovereign. Intercessory prayer has stayed plagues and it can stay the plague of wickedness in high places.

You have done well to plead the sovereignty of God, who determines appointed times and exact boundaries. That is the ground of all prevailing intercession, for our best pleas lie within the compass of God's character and God's promises. As you ask the Lord to intercept evil plans and bind the spirit of retaliation, be encouraged that intercessory prayer is exceedingly prevalent. What wonders it has wrought! When the kingโ€™s arm was withered, he said to the prophet, โ€œPray for me,โ€ and his arm was restored. The King of kings can wither the arm of tyranny and strengthen the hand of righteous governance in answer to the cries of His people.

Yet let us be watchful that we do not fall into the sin of restraining prayer even as we offer it. We often neglect prayer in the fewness of the occasions we set apart for supplication. Do not let this holy fire, now burning so brightly, dwindle into a few embers between sleeping and waking. Do not go from the closet immediately into the world and leave behind that spirit of intercession which you ought to carry with you. This burden for nations must not be a solitary cry but a sustained agony. The Apostle felt that an agony alone was too bitter and cried, โ€œI beseech you, Brethren, that you agonize with me in prayer.โ€ By your power in prayer, Godโ€™s power will be set in motion.

You have rightly asked that the Church be Christโ€™s helpmeet in this, imitating Him who ever lives to make intercession. What a blessing it is that we have our Savior praying for us when we, ourselves, may be fancying that we need not pray! It is Jesus who is praying! He shows His wounds and pleads the merit of His great sacrifice and, wonder of wonders, He pleads for His own. Let this truth fire your soul and drive you to persistence. This prayer will do for the darkest hour. It is a prayer for everybody and every place wherever you may be, โ€œLord, help me! Lord, help them!โ€

Your prayer for the salvation of leaders rises on good ground, for you acknowledge that if ever a man is saved, his salvation must be Godโ€™s in the beginning, Godโ€™s in the carrying on, and Godโ€™s in the concluding. No salvation will serve any manโ€™s turn but one which is Divine from top to bottom. Therefore, look unto Him and be saved, all the ends of the earth. There is only one way of salvation for all. The harlot, the drunkard, and the ruler of a nation must all come the same way, casting themselves wholly and entirely upon Christ. When you plead for this, you plead in the very current of Godโ€™s own heart, for you cry for that which has permanence, Godโ€™s salvation will never fade.

Take courage. Perhaps someone will say, โ€œI feel dull and weak in this prayer.โ€ If so, be sure that you use the prayer of the text: โ€œWilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?โ€ Cease not to ask for the turning of the nations. It is the prayer of a people who have known gracious acts in the past and now cry, โ€œLord, raise Your sleepy children! Make us all to live at the highest point of life.โ€

You have not been ignorant of the devilโ€™s schemes, and so you have pleaded the binding of the strong man, even as you recall the joy that his fall is certain. Jesus Christ shall be to the nations, as to us, Godโ€™s Salvation. Wherever our eyes spiritually light upon the Christ of God, there we see Godโ€™s Salvation. So fix your eyes there for every land under the shadow of evil. Prayer is the most essential thing in turning sinners from the error of their ways, and it will prepare you to be Godโ€™s instrument in that turning. You shall surely see Him ride forth victoriously, for He never finally refuses to listen to such pleading as this. Now the God of peace be with you. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pour out a flood of scriptural prayer, and this is good, for prayer is a mighty weapon. Yet take heed: if God does anything in mercy, prayer mightily contributes, but it is when we ourselves also work. The Lord is faithful to establish you and guard you from the evil one, but He does so as we are willing and hear Him, not like stocks and stones, being inactive. For many commit everything to the prayers of the saints and then slumber in sin, thinking themselves secure. But it is a good thing to enjoy the prayer of the saints only when we ourselves are on the alert. On this account you need prayer, because you think you have no need of it.

You ask God to restrain the evil one and spoils his plans. Truly, we need continual prayer that he may be bruised under our feet, for he is shameless and full of hardihood. But know this: the devil has no power to compel us. He trails along the ground like the serpent, and unless he finds a person unarmed and isolated by sin, he dares not attack. Flee from sin as from the face of a serpent, and he will be crushed. Glorify God not only with your lips but by your works, for then are we heard when we ourselves also hear the poor who come to us.

Give thanks in all things, even the lesser, as you do, but remember that the great salvation is not mere deliverance from earthly strife but the dissolution of death and the kingdom of heaven. Do not neglect it. So pray, yes, and pray always, but walk worthy of the calling, lest in relying on prayers alone you perish.
