Father, we confess with the great multitude in heaven, shouting praise, The Lord God Omnipotent Reigns, Rev 19:6... Reign! Ride forth victoriously for the sake of Truth, Humility and Justice, Ps 45:3-4! Restrain Evil, Jn 17:15, We Pray FOR All in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, SAVE OUR LEADERS and THOSE IN OTHER NATIONS around the world to govern justly in Jesus' Name, 1 Tim 2:3-4... Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden of this Earth to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries, even restrain him over all nations, Jn 16:11, asking You intercept evil plans, miraculously, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 1 Sam 20:9, 1 Sam 20:27-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, Eph 5:32-33, imitating God, Eph 5:1, even Jesus, who also intercedes for us, Rom 8:34, since You ever live to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. We lift our voices together in fervent agreement with your cry to the Lord, declaring His sovereignty over all nations and His authority over every ruler and kingdom. The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it (Psalm 24:1). We stand on the truth that God sets up kings and removes them (Daniel 2:21), and that the hearts of leaders are in His hand like channels of water, turned wherever He wishes (Proverbs 21:1). Father, we acknowledge that You alone determine the appointed times and boundaries of the nations (Acts 17:26), and we submit to Your divine order.

We come before You with urgency, pleading for Your intervention in the affairs of unruly nations where evil seems to reign unchecked. The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we declare that You are the Lion of the tribe of Judah (Revelation 5:5), and no scheme of darkness can prevail against Your purposes. We ask You to restrain the evil one, just as You did in the days of Daniel when Michael, the archangel, stood against the prince of Persia (Daniel 10:13). Intercept the plans of the wicked, Lord, as You did when Elisha revealed the king of Syria’s schemes to Israel (2 Kings 6:12). Expose every hidden agenda, every plot of destruction, and every lie that seeks to deceive the nations. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let the darkness not comprehend it (John 1:5).

We bind the spirit of retaliation and vengeance in the name of Jesus, for vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19). Where there is strife, sow peace; where there is hatred, sow love; where there is division, sow unity. We pray that the leaders of these nations would be delivered from the snare of the devil, who seeks to use them as instruments of destruction (2 Timothy 2:26). Father, back the evil one away from their minds and hearts, as David’s harp drove away the distressing spirit from Saul (1 Samuel 16:23). Let praise and worship rise like a fragrant offering in these lands, for the enemy cannot stand in the presence of Your glory (Psalm 149:6-9). From the rising of the sun to its going down, let the name of the Lord be praised (Psalm 113:3), and let the sound of worship break every chain of oppression.

We pray for the leaders of our own nation and those around the world, that they would govern with justice, wisdom, and humility. We urge You, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases You, our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:1-4). Father, save our leaders! Turn their hearts toward You, that they may rule with righteousness and lead their people into paths of peace. Deliver them from the temptation to abuse power, to seek selfish gain, or to bow to the pressures of evil influences. Lead them not into temptation, but deliver them from evil (Matthew 6:13), for we know the devil is a liar and a murderer from the beginning (John 8:44).

We confess that the Church has not always been the helpmeet You intended her to be (Genesis 2:18). Forgive us, Lord, for the times we have been silent when we should have spoken, passive when we should have acted, and divided when we should have stood united. We ask that You would raise up a holy remnant, a people who imitate You as dear children (Ephesians 5:1), walking in love as Christ loved us (Ephesians 5:2). Let the Church be the bride of Christ without spot or wrinkle (Ephesians 5:27), fervent in prayer, bold in proclamation, and unwavering in truth. We declare that Jesus ever lives to make intercession for us (Hebrews 7:25), and we join our prayers with His, asking that the Church would rise up in power and authority to do the works He did (John 14:12). Let us go about doing good and healing all who are oppressed by the devil, just as He did (Acts 10:38), for You are with us (Matthew 28:20).

We spoil the enemy’s plans, Lord, not by our own strength, but by the power of Your Spirit. We confess our sins and the sins of our nation, just as Daniel did (Daniel 9:20), asking for Your mercy and forgiveness. We pray that You would turn the hearts of Your people back to You, that revival would sweep across the land, and that the lost would be saved. We thank You for the authority You have given us to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19), but we rejoice even more that our names are written in heaven (Luke 10:20). For the enemy is temporary, but Your kingdom is eternal.

We declare that the Lord God Omnipotent reigns (Revelation 19:6), and we invite You, Jesus, to ride forth victoriously for the sake of truth, humility, and justice (Psalm 45:3-4). Let Your kingdom come, and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). We thank You for hearing our prayers, for You are faithful, and Your promises are true. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray with confidence, knowing that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14). Amen.

We read your prayer with a deep sense of kinship, you're carrying a heavy burden for the world, and you've laid it out with honesty and persistence. It's easy, when the news of nations feels so dark, to wonder if our prayers matter. But we know they do, not because of our eloquence, but because they join the ongoing intercession of Jesus Himself, who ever lives to pray for us. You're not shouting into a void; you're echoing heaven's own heart.

We're grateful for your example of turning anxiety into worship and stubborn hope. That's the kind of prayer that keeps us steady, even when we can't see the answers yet. So we don't need to pile on more words, just a quiet, steady "we're with you in this."

Father, thank You for this faithful one who refuses to despair but instead leans into Your throne. Strengthen their heart and renew their strength. He must reign! Jesus must reign! His defeat is not to be thought of for a moment! Delay there may be, but the victory must come! Reign He must, for who is to stop Him? We must still pray for Him, not personally, but relatively, for His cause, for His kingdom, for His Gospel, for His people, for His blood-bought ones who as yet are in the ruins of the Fall, for His second coming, and glorious reign. When you pray for the Church, you are praying for Christ, for they are His mystical body, and He is still struggling with the hosts of darkness in His Church.

Do not cease to pray for those in authority, nor for the nations, though the evil one rages. The Prophet had received from the Lord the explicit command, "Pray not for this people: for their good," and yet, after reasoning with God, his heart grew so warm with sacred fervor and his spirit became fired with such a passionate zeal that he could not help pleading for the sinful nation! O splendid perseverance of importunity, strong resolve of a forbidden intercession! "You, O Lord our God, tell us not to pray, but we cannot restrain our supplication, 'Therefore we will wait for You.'" It is a very great privilege to be permitted to pray for our fellow men, and to cease would be a sin against the Lord. God forbid that I should cease to pray for you, for it would be a great sin in the sight of the Most High.

You cry for the restraint of evil and the binding of the spirit of retaliation. Pray on, and plead the name of Jesus, for there is never a blessing for which a Believer pleads but Christ pleads for it, too! "He ever lives to make intercession for us." And you do not pray alone, for the Holy Spirit also helps our infirmities, making intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, creating prayers offered in a proper manner when we know not what to pray for as we ought. Toil on, then, in this sacred work, for Jesus must yet subdue the nations and be acknowledged by them as Lord and God! Sovereign Grace has determined it, so yield they must. The Lord says, "Compel them to come in," and come in they must, for He must reign.

You pray earnestly for God to rule the nations and restrain evil. Such prayer is right and commanded, for the Apostle exhorts that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority. This we must do without ceasing, entrusting the whole world to Him who holds the boundaries of every nation in His hand. Yet take heed that your zeal does not outrun wisdom. When you speak of binding the evil one as though you held the chain, recall that the devil is indeed the prince of the power of the air, but his dominion is temporary and already crumbling. He has no power except what is permitted for a season, and even that malice is turned by God to the good of those who love Him. Do not imagine that our praise and worship are spells to compel God’s hand; they are the sweet incense of a humble heart. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual hosts of wickedness. Therefore, let your prayers be with sobriety, not with a multitude of words as though you will be heard for your much speaking.

You desire the Church to be a helpmeet, imitating God. This is a high calling, but first examine whether you yourself are walking in that imitation. It is a fearful thing to wish to lead others when you yourself are blind. The blind who lead the blind fall into a pit. Anarchy is an evil, and disobedience to rulers is no less evil; for a people not obeying a ruler is like one which has none, and perhaps worse. Pray for rulers, yes, that they may govern justly and come to the knowledge of the truth, but do not set yourself up as their corrector in a spirit of rebellion. There is a good division when we separate from evil, but a wicked agreement when we join hands with iniquity. The Church must be holy, separate from the world’s defilements, yet subject to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake, except where it commands sin.

Remember, the rulers of this world knew not the wisdom of God, for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. Their authority is coming to nought; they are but instruments. Our confidence is not in binding and loosing spirits as if by our own authority, but in Christ who spoiled principalities and powers, making a show of them openly, triumphing over them in the cross. The devil roars, but he is chained. His time is short. The acceptable time is now; the day of salvation is at hand. Do not be so consumed with restraining the evil in the world that you neglect to restrain the evil in your own heart. Purge yourself from all filthiness of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Then your prayers for the nations will ascend with power.

Above all, cling to Him who ever lives to make intercession for us. He is our peace, who has broken down the middle wall of partition. It is not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit. So pray, but pray with trust, leaving the timing and the manner to God. For if God be for us, who can be against us? Not kings, not demons, not the very gates of hell. In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. Go now, and pray for all men, but let your first prayer be for a contrite heart, for such sacrifice God will not despise.

You have poured out a weighty intercession, asking God to rule over nations, restrain evil, and save those in authority. That kind of prayer reaches into the very heart of what God desires, that all people would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. It is right to lay these burdens before Him, because He alone is sovereign, and He sets the boundaries of nations and their appointed times.

And yet, as we pray for the restraining of evil, we must remember what the fear of the Lord truly is: a hatred of evil. God is not indifferent or absent when wickedness seems to flourish. The long delay before judgment is not permission; it is mercy. He withholds His hand to give space for repentance, because if sentence against an evil work were executed speedily, people might be terrified but they would not be changed. God desires hearts that turn from evil because they love Him, not merely because they fear the blow.

But Scripture also warns us plainly: do not misinterpret His patience. Evil does not go unnoticed. It has a built-in destructive capacity, slaying the wicked through its own consequences. The remembrance of those who do nothing but evil will be cut off. So you are right to ask Him to intercept evil plans and back the enemy off of leaders and strategists. He has done it before, and He can do it again. The prayers of His people are part of how He works.

At the same time, guard your own heart against fretting because of evildoers. It is easy to look at nations where leaders hate the good and love the evil, and to become consumed with anxiety or a desire to retaliate. But we are not called to render evil for evil, or railing for railing. Instead, we turn away from evil and do good; we seek peace and pursue it. The Lord’s face is against those who do evil, but His eyes are over the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers. So keep your tongue from speaking evil, and continue to intercede with a clean heart.

The most powerful thing the church can do is to be a true helpmeet in prayer, imitating Jesus who ever lives to intercede. And as you lift these nations, perhaps the deepest cry is the one you already voiced: that leaders and peoples would hearken and turn from their evil way. That is the only escape from the evil God has purposed in judgment. If they will turn, even at the last hour, He will relent. So pray with confidence, but also with a holy hatred of the sin you are asking God to restrain. Pray that the gospel would run swiftly, and that many would be delivered from the dominion of darkness before the day of mercy ends.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the weight of this global burden, lifting nations, leaders, and the very course of history before our sovereign Lord. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you, pleading for God’s restraint over evil, His guidance for those in authority, and the salvation of leaders across the earth—just as Scripture commands. Together, we have declared His reign, His victory for truth and justice, and His power to intercept wicked plans, just as He did for Elisha and David.
