๐ŸŒŽ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒ God You Rule Over Nations Ps 24:1, Restrain Evil, Dan 10:13, Guide Leaders, Prov 21:1, We Pray for them,1 Tim 2:1-2, Salvation, 1 Tim 2:3-4... ๐Ÿ™ Father, we confess with the great multitude in heaven, shouting praise, The Lord God Omnipotent Reigns, Rev 19:6... Reign! Ride forth victoriously for the sake of Truth, Humility and Justice, Ps 45:3-4! Restrain Evil, Jn 17:15, We Pray FOR All in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, SAVE OUR LEADERS and THOSE IN OTHER NATIONS around the world to govern justly in Jesus' Name, 1 Tim 2:3-4... ๐Ÿ™Œ Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden of this Earth to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries, even restrain him over all nations, Jn 16:11, asking You intercept evil plans, miraculously, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 1 Sam 20:9, 1 Sam 20:27-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, Josh 6:20, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149:1-5, Ps 150:1-5, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3. Lead us, our country ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ and our leaders (and YOUR COUNTRY & LEADERS) not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, Eph 5:32-33, imitating God, Eph 5:1, even Jesus, who also intercedes for us, Rom 8:34, since You ever live to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, SO WE MAY INTERCEDE WITH YOU,"ASK OF ME AND I WILL GIVE THE NATIONS AS YOUR INHERITANCE AND THE UTTERMOST PARTS OF THE EARTH AS YOUR POSSESSION," Ps 2:8, and, MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER FOR ALL NATIONS," Isaiah 56:7, Mark 11:17. Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will, Eph 1:11, -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the nations, lifting up this fervent cry to the Lord God Almighty, who reigns supreme over all the earth. The Word declares, "The earth is the Lordโ€™s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him" (Psalm 24:1 WEB). We stand in awe of Your sovereignty, knowing that You have established the boundaries of the nations and hold the hearts of kings in Your hand (Proverbs 21:1). Yet we also recognize the spiritual battle raging across the earth, where the evil one seeks to devour and destroy (1 Peter 5:8). We take authority in the name of Jesus Christ, the risen Lord, and command the forces of darkness to be restrained, just as Daniel prayed and the angel came to his aid after twenty-one days of spiritual warfare (Daniel 10:12-13).

Father, we intercede for the leaders of every nation, those in authority over us and those governing lands far beyond our borders. Your Word instructs us, "I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:1-4 WEB). We pray for salvation to break forth among those in power, that they would govern with wisdom, humility, and justice. Raise up godly counselors around them, and let Your truth penetrate their hearts. We ask You to intercept evil plans before they come to fruition, just as You revealed the schemes of the king of Syria to Elisha (2 Kings 6:12) and exposed Saulโ€™s murderous intentions toward David (1 Samuel 20:3, 9, 27-42). Let the spirit of retaliation be bound, and may Your peace prevail where strife seeks to take root.

We also lift up the Church, the Bride of Christ, and ask that she would arise as a true helpmeet to You, Lord (Genesis 2:18). Too often, we have been passive or divided, but Your Word calls us to imitate You, as beloved children (Ephesians 5:1), and to walk in the authority You have given us. Jesus, our High Priest, ever lives to intercede for us (Hebrews 7:25), and we join Him in that holy work. You have promised, "Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession" (Psalm 2:8 WEB). Let Your house be called a house of prayer for all nations (Isaiah 56:7, Mark 11:17), where Your people cry out day and night for justice, mercy, and revival. We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your Church (Matthew 16:18), and we take our stand against the schemes of the devil, who is a liar and a murderer from the beginning (John 8:44).

Lord, we confess that we have not always been vigilant in prayer or faithful in obedience. We repent for the sins of our nation, idolatry, injustice, immorality, and the shedding of innocent blood. As Daniel confessed the sins of Israel (Daniel 9:20), we humbly acknowledge our corporate and individual failings. Yet we also stand on Your promise that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We ask You to spoil the enemyโ€™s plans and turn his tactics back upon him, that all things would work together for Your glory (Ephesians 1:11). Even now, we thank You for the authority You have given us to trample on serpents and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Though the devil is a roaring lion, we rejoice that his time is short, and we fix our eyes on the eternal victory we have in Christ (Luke 10:20).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15), who came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through His blood that we have access to the Father (Hebrews 10:19-20). We declare that the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever (Revelation 11:15). Until that day, we will not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Strengthen us, Lord, to stand firm in the faith, to pray without ceasing, and to walk in the power of Your Spirit. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

We are moved by the weight you are carrying for the world, and we want you to know that this kind of sustained, global intercession matters more than you may ever see on this side of things. Many who pray for nations find the burden can feel isolating, as though the need is simply too vast and the darkness too thick. That is part of why we are so grateful you wrote. It takes real faith to keep bringing these things before the Lord instead of numbing out or turning away.

One thing we have noticed in walking with people who pray like this is that isolation can drain what was meant to be shared. When you do not have others shoulder-to-shoulder with you in the burden, it sits differently on the soul, and you can start carrying what only God can carry. If you have not already, we would gently encourage you to find even a small prayer partnership or group where this specific burden can be shared aloud. There is a particular strength that comes from knowing someone else is asking for the same leaders and the same nations by name, and it has a way of refreshing the intercessor even when the news stays hard.

What you are doing is not small. It echoes the Church's real calling, and we are standing with you in it.

Lord, we lift up the nations and leaders this person has been crying out for. We ask You to restrain what is evil, to intercept plans that would cause widespread harm, and to draw those in authority toward what is just and true. We pray for their salvation, knowing You desire all people to come to a knowledge of the truth. And we pray for our fellow intercessor, guard their hope, deepen their rest in You, and surround them with others who will help carry this holy burden. In Jesus' name we pray.

The soul that can truly cry, "Salvation is of the Lord," has learned the deepest lesson in the school of grace. You have laid hold of the grand truth that God alone is the rock of our salvation, and that the work whereby men are saved is of God, and of him only. This is no mere doctrine for the head, but the very lifeblood of hope for a perishing world. For if salvation were of man, it would be as shifting as the sand; but since it is of the Lord, it stands fast as the everlasting hills.

The prayer that arises from this knowledge is a mighty engine in the hands of the Spirit. You plead for the restraint of evil and for the salvation of leaders and nations, and you do well. This is the very work to which the church is called, for it is written, โ€œMy house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.โ€ We are not called to sit in judgment only, but to wrestle with the Most High, like Samuel of old, who counted it a sin to cease praying for the people. To intercede for those in authority is a privilege, and when the man of God prevails with God for man, he can then prevail with man for God. Let no one tell you to cease your supplications; like the prophet, let your resolve be, โ€œTherefore we will wait for thee.โ€

Yet, in pleading for the nations, let us never lose sight of the one essential plea which alone secures a blessing: the merit of Christ Jesus. There is no salvation in any other name; the purity and deity of the suffering Savior are the rocks upon which our hope is built. All other peaces are but the peace of the devil, a slumber that leads to the pit. True peace with God comes only through the cross, and any national good that mocks this truth is a painted lie. We want men to be roused from the sleep of sin, not lulled into it with smooth prophecies while justice signs the death warrant.

The very ability to pray for others is itself a gift of sovereign grace. See how the Spirit himself makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God, and know that your groanings for a lost world are evidence of his indwelling. It is he who writes intercession upon menโ€™s hearts, and when we, with holy boldness, plead for the uttermost parts of the earth as Christโ€™s inheritance, we are joining in the intercession of our great High Priest. Remember, it is God that justifies; who is he that condemns? The risen Christ makes intercession, and therefore our prayers, though they be but flickering sparks, are borne aloft by the mighty wind of his perpetual advocacy.

Therefore, be greatly encouraged. For if salvation is all of grace, from the planning to the final perfection, then who among us dares to despair? God is not limited by the hardness of menโ€™s hearts or the wicked schemes of the prince of the power of the air. He can restrain evil with a chain, and he can give faith to those who are dead in trespasses. The kingโ€™s heart is in his hand, and he turns it as the rivers of water. Go on, then, to pray for the nations, and for the church to be a true helpmeet in this sacred work. Ask of him, and he will give you the heathen for your inheritance. The battle is the Lordโ€™s, and though the enemy be strong, the promise of the Omnipotent reign of God is sure. Salvation is of the Lord, and to him be all the glory.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You heap up prayers as if by many words you will be heard, yet the Lord taught us to pray with simplicity. Your desire for Godโ€™s rule is good, but take care lest zeal inflate you. For the haughty man is a beast rather than a man, and there is more hope for a fool than for him. Do you think that by your own forceful prayers you will wrest the nations from the evil one? It is God who works, not you. He learned obedience through what He suffered, and so must we.

You ask to bind spirits and spoil plans, but what of your own spirit? When you pray thus, do you lift up holy hands without wrath? For if you make intercession against others while refusing to forgive, you thrust a sword into yourself. The evil one would love nothing more than for you to cloak vengeance in prayer. Remember, we are saved not by doing evil but by suffering it, and we are called to give thanks for all things, even for those who seem enemies, because God dispenses all for our good.

Do not presume to instruct the Almighty with your many verses. He who ever lives to make intercession for us needs no rehearsal. Your salvation is not from wresting earthly powers but from the dissolution of death and the kingdom of heaven. If you neglect so great a salvation by fixing your eyes on worldly battles, how will you escape? Instead, imitate the lowly-minded, who are free from anger and full of love. For it is not the strong or the loud in prayer who prevail, but those who, through sufferings, are made perfect in obedience. Entrust all to Him who is able to save to the uttermost, and give thanks.

Your prayer rises like incense, full of the Word and heavy with love for the nations. And where does such a burden come from? Who places in a human heart the deep cry for God to ride forth for truth, humility, and justice? All true prayer begins with God. He is the one who kindles intercession, just as He moved Moses to stand in the gap. So do not think for a moment that you merely compiled a list of requests. The very longing that pushed you to these Scriptures is evidence that the Spirit is helping you in your weakness, making intercession with groanings too deep for words. And when the Spirit guides our prayers, we know we are praying according to the will of God.

Still, as you pour out your soul over rulers and nations, let me gently ask you to examine who sits on the throne of your prayer. So often we approach prayer as an agency for getting our wishes accomplished before Friday, as if the main goal were to see all the evil restrained and all the right outcomes secured. But prayer is never about forcing Godโ€™s hand or getting my will done. It moves first in worship: a conscious delight in His holiness, His beauty, His sovereign love. It then moves into intercession, where His desires become ours. You have rightly lifted up the biblical commands to pray for all in authority, so that the gospel may spread and people may come to know the Savior who desires all men to be saved. That is the heart of God. And more things are wrought through such prayer than this world will ever know.

Remember, you are not alone in this. Right now, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, is at the Fatherโ€™s right hand making intercession for us. He ever lives to intercede. He is not indifferent to the raging of nations, nor to the schemes of the evil one. His prayer in John 17 was not only for His disciples then but for all who would believe. He asked the Father to keep us from the evil one, because we are not of the world, even as He is not of the world. The world system lies under the sway of the wicked one, and its friendship is enmity with God. So it will hate us. Do not be surprised when the worldโ€™s reaction stings, or when evil seems to prevail for a season. In the days of Noah the world was permeated with corruption, yet God preserved a remnant. The great day of the Lord is coming, when He will judge the world for its evil and lay low the arrogance of the proud.

That frees you. Your task is not to pull all the levers of history, but to abide in Him, to let His words abide in you, and to bear lasting fruit. The church is called to be His helpmeet in this sense: a house of prayer for all nations, a royal priesthood showing forth His excellencies. Our unity and love for one another bear witness to the world that the Father sent the Son. So continue to pray for those in authority, that we might lead quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness. Ask the Lord of the harvest to restrain the devilโ€™s schemes and to save leaders, knowing that He determines the appointed times and exact boundaries of nations. Yet hold all this with open hands. The real power behind the scenes flows not from perfect wording or emotional intensity, but from humble hearts that walk with God, confessing our own sins and the sins of our land.

When you feel the weight of evil pressing in, remember: Elijah was a man of like passions, subject to the same feelings and frailties we have, yet his effectual fervent prayer availed much. And when you cannot find words, the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to Godโ€™s will. Jesus has already prayed for you, that you be kept from the evil one. So let not the foot of pride come against you. Trust that evil carries within itself its own destruction; the wicked shall be cast down. But our highest joy is not that spirits are subject to us, but that our names are written in heaven.

So walk with Him. Talk to Him along the way. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, and from that place of union, pray. Pray for your nation and for the nations. Ask of Him, and He will give the nations for His inheritance. The Lord God omnipotent reigns. Ride on, Lord Jesus, in Your majesty and truth. Amen.
