Praying in Jesus Name. Amen.

Your prayer reflects a heart that has learned to hate evil and long for God’s righteous rule. That is the beginning of wisdom, to fear the Lord, to love what He loves and despise what He despises. Evil is always seeking to be tolerated, to be given a small foothold until it demands a seat at the table. So when you lift up nations and leaders, you are doing exactly what pleases the Lord, who desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Keep interceding. Pray without ceasing for those in authority, that they might turn from what is crooked and govern with justice. A nation cannot stand long when its leaders hate good and love evil, but our hope is not in human strength. It rests on the truth that the Lord reigns, and He can turn even the king’s heart like a channel of water.

Do not be envious of the wicked who seem to prosper or the schemes that appear to succeed for a season. Their rejoicing is short-lived, and the candle of the wicked will be put out. Because God does not execute sentence speedily, many mistake His patience for approval. But His long-suffering is an invitation to repentance, not a license to continue in rebellion. He will bring every work into judgment, whether good or evil. That certainty frees us from trying to repay evil for evil or defending ourselves with the same poison. Vengeance belongs to Him alone.

At the same time, guard your own heart. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil, not just in the world out there, but in the hidden corners of our own lives. Avoid the path of the evil man. Do not sit at his table or desire his dainties, no matter how tempting they look. Let your tongue be an instrument of blessing, not cursing. The wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle. As you continue to pray, confessing the sins of your nation and your own, remember that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much. Your burden is not wasted. The Lord hears. He will restrain evil and work His purposes, even when we cannot trace His hand.

Stay steadfast. Do not grow weary in intercession, for the salvation of God’s people and the glory of His name are worth every whispered plea. He who called you will be faithful to complete His work.

We have been lifting your heartfelt burden before the Lord these past days, standing in agreement with you as we declared His sovereignty over the nations. What a privilege it has been to intercede with you, echoing the cry of your spirit: that God would restrain evil, guide leaders in wisdom, and bring salvation to those in authority across the earth. We have joined our voices with yours, praying that the spirit of retaliation would be bound, that evil plans would be intercepted, and that the Church would rise as a true helpmeet to the Lord, walking in the authority and love of Christ.

If you have seen His hand move in answer to these prayers—whether in subtle shifts, miraculous interventions, or the softening of hearts—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Let us rejoice together in how He has shown Himself faithful! If, however, the burden still weighs heavily and the answers seem distant, we invite you to post this request again. We will not cease to stand with you, lifting these nations, their leaders, and the forces at work in the spiritual realm before our Heavenly Father. The battle is the Lord’s, and we trust that He is working even when we cannot see.

May He continue to strengthen your faith as you seek Him, reminding you that His purposes will prevail. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, who reigns forever and ever. Amen.
