🌎🌍🌏 God You Rule Over Nations Ps 24:1, Restrain Evil, Dan 10:13, Guide Leaders, Prov 21:1, We Pray FOR them, 1 Tim 2:1-2, Salvation, 1 Tim 2:3-4...

Your prayer echoes what Scripture teaches about the Lord's rule over the nations. The earth is the Lord's and all its fullness, and He has determined the appointed times and boundaries for every people. The nations are before Him as a drop in a bucket, yet He is not distant. He is holy and of purer eyes than to look upon evil, and He will judge the world for its evil and the wicked for their iniquity, bringing down arrogance and violence. Much of what you are seeing, the spoil taken by conquest, the bloodshed and retaliation, is the manifestation of the evil that is in the human heart, and God has made clear that those who build themselves up by destroying others will themselves be judged for that violence.

At the same time Scripture reveals His mercy and His desire to relent. He calls to every person to hearken and turn from an evil way, so that He may turn from the judgment He has purposed because of evil doings. The judgment is real, for He does bring calamity upon persistent wickedness, but it is not because He is in league with evil. He is separate from it and grieves over it, and His heart yearns for righteousness and for the day when the knowledge of His glory will cover the earth. That mercy is why you are moved to intercede.

Your movement from personal burden to intercession for leaders and nations is exactly what God invites. We are instructed to pray for all who are in authority, because the heart of a leader is in the hand of the Lord and He can turn it as He wills. He is able to restrain evil, to frustrate evil plans, and to deliver from the schemes of the evil one, who is a murderer and liar from the beginning. He also went forth for the salvation of His people, and He has not appointed those who are His to wrath but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

That salvation is found only in Jesus. Hope is vain if sought from the hills or from human strength or strategy. God is our salvation, and Jesus, who took upon Himself the seed of Abraham so that all nations might be blessed, tasted death for every person and became the captain of our salvation through His suffering. He now lives to make intercession for us, and He clothes those who trust Him with garments of salvation and a robe of righteousness. For this reason now is the accepted time and now is the day of salvation, and God desires all people, including leaders in every nation, to come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved.

Continue to bring these nations and their leaders before Him, confessing sin and asking for restraint of evil and for just governance, and asking above all for their salvation. Even when the earth is shaken and wrong judgment seems to proceed because the wicked surround the righteous, you can rejoice in the God of your salvation who preserves His own and who will one day establish His righteous kingdom in full.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for the nations and for those in authority.

We have continued to lift up your burden before the Lord with you, that our God who rules over the nations and to whom the earth belongs Ps 24:1 would reign over all in power and righteousness Rev 19:6, that He would restrain evil and the evil one Dan 10:13 and John 17:15 and John 16:11, that He would guide the hearts of leaders as water in His hand Prov 21:1, and that He would intercept and spoil evil plans as You did for Elisha in 2 Kings 6:12. We have joined you in praying for all who are in authority according to 1 Tim 2:1, and for the salvation of our leaders and leaders of other nations around the world that they may govern justly, according to 1 Tim 2:3 and 1 Tim 2:4, remembering that You made from one man all the nations and determined their appointed times and boundaries Acts 17:26.

We are grateful to have stood with you to ask that the Church would be faithful to intercede and that Your house would be a house of prayer for all nations Mark 11:17.

If your request was answered and you have seen God restrain evil, turn hearts, or bring opportunities for salvation and just governance, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray that the Lord will continue to draw you close as you seek Him, that you will know His protection as He restrains evil and His wisdom as He leads. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

We pray this in Jesus Name.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for the nations and for those in authority.

We have continued to bring your burden before the Lord with you, asking that He who rules over the nations according to Ps 24:1 would restrain evil as in Dan 10:13, guide the hearts of leaders as in Prov 21:1, and draw our leaders and the leaders of other nations around the world to salvation as you asked in 1 Tim 2:1-2 and 1 Tim 2:3-4. We have joined our faith with yours confessing that the Lord God Omnipotent reigns as declared in Rev 19:6, that He would ride forth victoriously for truth and justice as in Ps 45:3-4, that He would keep His people from evil as in John 17:15 and deliver our nation and each nation represented by those praying from temptation as in Matt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the schemes of the enemy who is a liar and murderer from the beginning as in John 8:44.

We are still lifting up before Him this burden for the earth, asking Him to intercept evil plans, to bind the spirit of retaliation and to set back the evil one from leaders and strategists, even as He did for Elisha in 2 Kings 6:12 and for David in 1 Sam 20:3, and to turn hearts to govern justly while the Church stands as a house of prayer for all nations as in Isa 56:7 and Mark 11:17, remembering that He made from one man all nations and determined their appointed times and boundaries as in Acts 17:26.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know how the Lord has worked, so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer, for we count it a joy to intercede with you until His will is done on earth as it is in heaven.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray for His protection and guidance over you and over all those in authority, and we ask for His saving power to be made known, in Jesus Name.
