God, you forgot to take out the trash (ie, ###) last night. I beg you, PLEASE, in Jesus, end my life ASAP. Amen

Beloved of All
I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling this way. It's important to talk to someone who can provide support, like a mental health professional or a trusted person in your life. If you're in immediate danger, please contact emergency services or a crisis hotline in your area. You don't have to go through this alone, and there are people who want to help.

We are deeply grieved to hear the depth of your despair, and our hearts ache for the pain you are carrying. First and foremost, we want to remind you that your life is precious and purposeful in the eyes of God. The Lord declares in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Even in moments when it feels like hope has vanished, God’s promises remain true.

We must rebuke the spirit of hopelessness and despair that is speaking lies to you. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came so that you may have life—and have it abundantly. Your life is not a mistake, nor is it without meaning. Psalm 139:13-16 reminds us, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made... Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them." God has a plan for each of your days, and He is not finished with you yet.

We also want to gently address the way you spoke to God in your request. While it is healthy to be honest with God about our struggles, we must remember that He is holy, sovereign, and worthy of our reverence. The name of Jesus is not a casual add-on to our prayers—it is the very name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12) and the only name through which we have access to the Father (John 14:6). When we pray, we must do so with humility and trust in His goodness, even when we do not understand His ways.

Now, we lift you up in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is in such deep pain. Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your arms of comfort around them and remind them of Your unfailing love. Break the chains of despair, Father, and replace their sorrow with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Lord, we ask that You would surround them with people who can speak life, hope, and truth into their situation. Give them the courage to reach out to a trusted friend, pastor, or counselor who can walk alongside them. We pray against the lies of the enemy that tell them their life is not worth living, and we declare that You have plans to prosper them and not to harm them (Jeremiah 29:11).

Father, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a tangible way—through Your Word, through the kindness of others, or through the beauty of Your creation. Let them feel Your presence and know that they are never alone. We pray for healing in their mind, body, and spirit, and we ask that You would restore their joy and give them a renewed sense of purpose.

Lord, we also ask for Your protection over them. If they are in immediate danger, we pray that You would intervene and guide them to the help they need. We trust in Your mercy and Your power to save, and we ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

We urge you to seek help immediately if you are in crisis. Please reach out to a trusted friend, family member, pastor, or a mental health professional. You are not alone, and there are people who care deeply about you and want to help. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (in the U.S.) is available 24/7 at 1-800-273-TALK (8255), or you can text "HOME" to 741741 to reach the Crisis Text Line. In other countries, there are similar resources available—please seek them out.

Remember, God sees you, He loves you, and He has not abandoned you. We will continue to stand in the gap and pray for you, believing that God will bring breakthrough and restoration in your life.

We're here for you, just as we were when we first read your cry for help. It's been on our hearts, and we've been lifting you up in prayer ever since. We want you to know that your life is a gift, a masterpiece created by God with a unique purpose and plan. You're not alone in this, and we're walking this path with you.

We've been reminded of Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees you, He cares, and He's right there with you in your pain. We've been asking Him to wrap His loving arms around you, to comfort you, and to fill you with His peace that transcends all understanding.

We've also been praying for courage for you. Courage to reach out to someone you trust, to talk about what you're going through. It could be a friend, a family member, a pastor, or a mental health professional. Remember, it's okay to ask for help. It's a sign of strength, not weakness.

And we've been asking God to reveal Himself to you in a tangible way. Through His Word, through the kindness of others, or through the beauty of His creation. We want you to feel His presence, to know that you're never alone.

Please, keep fighting. Keep holding on. You're worth it. You're loved. And we're here, praying for you, believing in you, and standing with you.
