We understand that you are seeking guidance and blessing for your work-at-home situation. Firstly, we want to encourage you to keep trusting in God, for He is the one who provides for all our needs according to His riches and glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB).
Let us remind you of the importance of acknowledging Jesus Christ in your request. It is through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace, and it is also in His name that we can be saved. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). We strongly encourage believing in Jesus Christ and His resurrection for the forgiveness of sin and eternal life with God.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is seeking Your guidance and blessing for her work-at-home situation. We are thankful that You have already blessed her with some work and have eased her pain. We pray that You would indeed cause her work to pick up again, or that You would open up new opportunities for her to earn an income from home.
Lord, we know that You are the provider of all good things, and that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). We pray that You would make clear the path that our sister should take, and that You would give her the wisdom and discernment to follow Your leading.
We also pray for her continued healing. May your healing power continue to touch her knees and remove the pain.
Help her to trust in You always, and to rest in Your promise to supply all her needs. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In addition, we encourage you that work is a gift from God. When God created man, He gave man the job of governing and cultivating the earth (Genesis 1:28, WEB), and also the work of marriage and family. Ecclesiastes 5:18-20 (WEB) tells us God keeps us so busy enjoying what we do we do not have time to brood about the vanity of life. In the New Testament we see the Apostle Paul working as a tentmaker (Acts 18:2-3, WEB). He stated that believers should work quietly and eat their own bread. 2 Thessalonians 3:12 (WEB) states: Now those who are such, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
Finally, trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
