God, since it doesn't matter if I live or die, I want to die. Please take me in Jesus' name. Amen

We hear the deep anguish in your words, and our hearts ache with you. The pain you’re carrying must feel unbearable to bring you to this place of despair. But we want you to know this: your life *does* matter—profoundly. You are not a burden, not an accident, not a mistake. You are fearfully and wonderfully made by a God who knows every hair on your head, every tear you’ve shed, and every silent cry of your heart (Psalm 139:13-16). The enemy would love nothing more than to steal, kill, and destroy your hope, but Jesus came so that you might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10).

First, we must rebuke the spirit of death and despair that is speaking lies over you. The thief comes only to steal and destroy, but we declare that your life is precious in the sight of the Lord. You are not alone, even when it feels that way. God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). The pain you’re feeling is real, but it is not the end of your story. We command every spirit of hopelessness, depression, and self-hatred to flee from you in the mighty name of Jesus. You are loved with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3), and nothing—not even the darkest night of your soul—can separate you from that love (Romans 8:38-39).

We also want to gently address the way you ended your prayer. You said, "in Jesus' name," but we must ask: do you know Him as your Lord and Savior? Have you surrendered your life to Him, not just in words, but in truth? Jesus is not just a name we tag onto the end of our prayers—He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you’ve never truly given your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. He is waiting with open arms, ready to forgive, heal, and restore you (1 John 1:9). Salvation is not found in religion, rituals, or good works—it is found in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is in such deep pain. Lord, You see their suffering, and You collect every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). We ask that You would break through the darkness with Your light. Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that they are not forgotten, not abandoned, and not unloved. Father, we rebuke every lie of the enemy that tells them their life doesn’t matter. Your Word says that You have plans for them—plans for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We declare that hope over them now.

Lord, if they do not know You as their Savior, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Draw them to Yourself, Jesus. Let them feel Your love wrapping around them like a warm embrace. Break the chains of despair and fill them with Your joy. Father, we ask that You would bring people into their life who can walk alongside them—believers who can pray for them, encourage them, and remind them of Your truth. Protect their mind from the lies of the enemy, and renew their thoughts with Your Word (Romans 12:2).

We also pray for physical healing, Lord. If there is any chemical imbalance, illness, or spiritual oppression contributing to their despair, we ask that You would heal them completely. Give them the strength to reach out for help—whether that’s to a trusted friend, a pastor, or a professional counselor. You are the God who heals (Psalm 103:3), and we trust You to restore their soul.

Above all, Lord, we ask that You would fill them with a fresh revelation of Your love. Let them know that they are Your beloved child (1 John 3:1), and that You are close to them even now. We thank You for the work You are doing in their life, even when they can’t see it. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Friend, we want to encourage you to take one small step today. Reach out to someone you trust—a friend, a family member, a pastor—and share how you’re feeling. You don’t have to carry this alone. If you’re not sure who to talk to, consider calling a Christian helpline or a crisis hotline in your area. There are people who care and want to help. The enemy wants you to isolate, but God’s Word says that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is there with them (Matthew 18:20). You are not alone.

We also encourage you to spend time in God’s Word. Even if you don’t feel like it, open the Bible and read Psalm 23, Psalm 40, or Lamentations 3. Let the truth of Scripture wash over you. Write down verses that speak to you and meditate on them throughout the day. The Word of God is living and active (Hebrews 4:12), and it has the power to renew your mind and lift your spirit.

Lastly, we want to leave you with this promise: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten. You are not unloved. You are seen, known, and deeply cherished by the Creator of the universe. Hold onto that truth, even if it’s just by a thread today. Better days are coming. We are praying for you, and we believe that God is already at work in your life.

We're here with you, friend. We know that sometimes life can feel overwhelming, like a heavy weight that's hard to bear. But remember, even in the darkest nights, God is always there, walking beside you. He sees you, He knows you, and He loves you more than you can imagine.

We want you to know that your life has purpose and meaning. You are not a mistake or a burden. You are a masterpiece, fearfully and wonderfully made by God (Psalm 139:14). He has a plan for your life, a future filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11). The enemy may try to steal, kill, and destroy your hope, but Jesus came so that you might have life, and have it to the full (John 10:10).

We're not going to sugarcoat this. The road ahead might be tough, and it might take time. But you don't have to walk it alone. We're here for you, and so is God. He promises to be near to the brokenhearted and to save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We encourage you to reach out to someone you trust today. It could be a friend, a family member, or a pastor. If you're not sure who to talk to, consider calling a Christian helpline or a crisis hotline in your area. There are people who care and want to help. You are not alone.

Also, spend time in God's Word. Even if you don't feel like it, open the Bible and read Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let the truth of Scripture wash over you and fill your heart with hope.

Remember, God is always with you. He loves you deeply, and He is working in your life even now. Trust in Him, and take one step at a time. We're praying for you, and we believe that God is already at work in your life, bringing healing and hope.

My life is over anyway so I might as well die. I don't want to live anymore, particularly in a country run by Christian nationalists. They'll be happy to see people like me gone as well - people who oppose their worldview. I am beyond ready to go. Please take me. I'm begging. Please.
