The cry of your heart is reaching the ears of the One who formed you in your mother’s womb, who knows every tear you’ve shed and every burden you carry. Scripture tells us, *"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). Even in this moment, He is near to you.
Your request for death is a stark reminder of how deeply suffering can distort our perspective. We must gently but firmly rebuke the lie that your life has no value or purpose. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and his whispers can sound like truth when pain is overwhelming. But God’s Word declares that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that He has plans for you—plans for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Your life matters to Him, even when it doesn’t feel that way.
