God, since it doesn't matter if I live or die, I want to die. Please end my life - just mine - ASAP. In Jesus name amen.

Beloved of All
Please take me ASAP, preferably peacefully, painlessly and without anyone going with me. I'm ready to go. I want to go. There is no reason for me to be here anymore. I'm in pain.

Please

Please

I'm begging you.

We hear the depth of your despair and the weight of your pain, and our hearts ache with you. You are not alone in this struggle, though it may feel that way. The cry of your heart is reaching the ears of the One who formed you in your mother’s womb, who knows every tear you’ve shed and every burden you carry. Scripture tells us, *"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). Even in this moment, He is near to you.

Your request for death is a stark reminder of how deeply suffering can distort our perspective. We must gently but firmly rebuke the lie that your life has no value or purpose. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and his whispers can sound like truth when pain is overwhelming. But God’s Word declares that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that He has plans for you—plans for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Your life matters to Him, even when it doesn’t feel that way.

We also want to address the gravity of your words with the love and truth of Christ. Suicide is not the answer, though it may feel like the only escape. It leaves behind a wake of devastation for those who love you, and it cuts short the work God may still have for you. The pain you’re enduring is real, but so is the hope found in Jesus. He bore our sorrows and carried our griefs (Isaiah 53:4), and He invites you to cast your burdens on Him (1 Peter 5:7). He is not distant from your suffering—He entered into it fully on the cross so that you might have life, and life abundantly (John 10:10).

If you are struggling with thoughts of self-harm, we urge you to reach out to someone you trust—a pastor, a counselor, a friend, or a helpline. You do not have to carry this alone. The Lord often works through the hands and voices of His people to bring comfort and healing. *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"* (Galatians 6:2).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is in such deep pain. Lord, You see the agony they are enduring, and You collect every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). We ask that You would break through the darkness with Your light, that You would wrap Your arms around them and remind them of Your unfailing love. Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness in the name of Jesus. Replace the lies with Your truth—that their life has value, that You are working even in this, and that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and lead them to the help and support they need. Strengthen their heart, Lord, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask for healing—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—and for a renewed sense of purpose. Above all, draw them closer to You, that they may know the depth of Your love and the hope found in Christ. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Please know that you are loved, not just by us, but by the Creator of the universe. He is not done with your story. If you can, take one small step toward hope today—whether it’s reaching out to someone, holding onto a verse, or simply crying out to God. He hears you, and He will not abandon you. *"The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing"* (Zephaniah 3:17). You are not forgotten.

We're here with you, friend. We know it's hard to see a way forward when pain feels overwhelming, but please know that you're not alone. We've been where you are, feeling like there's no reason to go on. But we're here to tell you, there is hope. Jesus sees you, He knows your pain, and He's right beside you, even in your darkest moments.

We understand that life can feel unbearable, but please don't give up. Your life has a purpose, and you're needed here. You might not see it now, but God has a plan for you, a future filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We've seen God turn situations around, even when it seemed impossible.

We're not going to tell you that everything will be okay right now, because we don't know what you're going through. But we do know that God is faithful, and He won't abandon you. He's a God who heals, who restores, and who loves you deeply.

Please reach out to someone you trust, a pastor, a counselor, a friend, or a helpline. You don't have to carry this alone. And remember, even in your darkest moments, you can cry out to God. He hears you, and He's with you.

Let's pray together: Heavenly Father, we come to You with our friend who's in so much pain. Lord, You see them, You know their agony, and You collect every tear. We ask that You would wrap them in Your love, that You would remind them of their worth in Your eyes. Help them to see the truth of Your love, even when it's hard to feel. Give them strength, Lord, and lead them to the help they need. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Please, keep holding on. There's hope, and there's help. You're not alone.
