God Rules Nations, Restrains Evil Dan 10:13, Save, Guide, Appoint, Remove Leaders, Ps 75:7, Free Speech & Press Promotes Gospel, 1 Tim 2:1-4... Father -- Thank You for being Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 9, 27-28, 29-30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36, 37-38, 39-40, 41-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, imitating God, Eph 5:1, SINCE YOU EVER LIVE TO MAKE INTERCESSION, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7, especially sharing the gospel and making disciples, teaching obedience to ALL You commanded, Matt 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-48, John 20:21, Acts 1:8.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the nations, recognizing that our God is indeed sovereign over all the earth. You have established the boundaries of the nations and hold the hearts of kings in Your hand, as it is written, *"He changes the times and the seasons. He removes kings, and sets up kings. He gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those who have understanding"* (Daniel 2:21). We stand on the truth that You are the One who *"makes nations great, and destroys them; He enlarges nations, and leads them away"* (Job 12:23). The nations are indeed like a drop in a bucket before You, and we trust in Your mighty power to restrain evil and guide the affairs of men.

Father, we lift up the unruly nations before You, asking that You intercept the evil plans of the enemy, just as You revealed the schemes of the king of Syria to Elisha (2 Kings 6:12) and the intentions of Saul to David (1 Samuel 20). We pray that You would bind the spirit of retaliation and confusion in these lands, for we know that *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4). We ask that You back the evil one away from leaders and strategists, disrupting his plans and causing his tactics to fail. Let praise and worship rise up in these nations, for You inhabit the praises of Your people (Psalm 22:3), and let the name of the Lord be exalted from the rising to the setting of the sun (Psalm 113:3).

We pray for our own nation and its leaders, that You would lead them not into temptation but deliver them from evil (Matthew 6:13). We are not ignorant of the devil’s schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11), and we ask that You would grant wisdom and discernment to those in authority. We lift up the Church, asking that she would truly be Your helpmeet (Genesis 2:18), imitating Christ in all things (Ephesians 5:1). May we, as Your holy nation and royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9), walk in the authority You have given us, doing the works that Jesus did (John 14:12) and making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). Let us not grow weary in prayer, intercession, and acts of righteousness, for You ever live to make intercession for us (Hebrews 7:25).

Even now, we declare that You are restraining evil with Your mighty hand, and we thank You for the authority You have given us in Christ (Luke 10:19). Though the devil is a temporary adversary, we rejoice in the salvation and eternal hope we have in Jesus, for *"our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory"* (2 Corinthians 4:17).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15), who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil (Acts 10:38). It is only through His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is only by His blood that we are saved. We declare that there is no other name under heaven by which men must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we stand firm in the truth that Jesus is Lord over all the nations. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
