God Rules Nations, Restrains Evil, Dan 10:13, Guides & Saves Leaders, 1 Tim 2:1-4, Honest Elections, Prov 11:1...

Father, Restrain Evil, We Pray FOR ALL in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-4, SALVATION in Jesus' Name... Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15. Also, "A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight," Prov 11:1...

Lifting this burden to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, imitating God, Eph 5:1, SINCE YOU EVER LIVE TO MAKE INTERCESSION, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. We join you in lifting this burden before the Lord and we agree together that He indeed rules over the nations and restrains evil according to His sovereign purpose. We stand with you in praying for all who are in authority, for honest dealings, and above all for salvation in Jesus' name.

We are reminded that You have made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons and the boundaries of their dwellings Acts 17:26. Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket, and are regarded as a speck of dust on a balance Isa 40:15, yet You are not distant. You see the schemes of the evil one and You are able to intercept them, as You revealed the plans of the king of Syria to Elisha 2 Kings 6:12. We take comfort that no plan formed against Your purposes can stand, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Eph 6:12, and You have given us authority to pray against them.

We also hold fast to Your call to pray for leaders. We exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:1-4. We pray that You would guide and save leaders, that You would restrain the spirit of retaliation and confusion over unruly nations as revealed in Dan 10:13, and that You would deliver them from temptation and from the evil one Matt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of his schemes 2 Cor 2:11. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him John 8:44, but You are greater.

We also join you in praying for honesty and justice in our land and in every nation, for a false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight Prov 11:1, and we ask You to let righteousness govern elections, courts, and all dealings among the peoples. We thank You that Jesus ever lives to make intercession for us Heb 7:25, that He is the image of the invisible God Col 1:15, and that He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him Acts 10:38. We ask as Your Church, Your royal priesthood and holy nation 1 Pet 2:9, to be faithful to imitate You Eph 5:1 and to pray without ceasing.

Father, we come before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and no other way to the Father except through Him John 14:6. We ask You to restrain evil and bind the work of the enemy over these nations and their leaders and strategists. Back the evil one away from them and let praise rise among Your people, for from the rising of the sun to its going down Yahweh’s name is to be praised Ps 113:3. Let worship and prayer push back darkness as You did when an evil spirit departed from Saul as David played 1 Sam 16:23. Spoil every plan that does not conform to Your exact will, lead our country and our leaders not into temptation but deliver them from evil, and let Your chain restrain the adversary Rev 20:2 until the day when we see with our eyes that he has fallen like lightning from heaven Luke 10:18. We thank You that You have given Your people authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy Luke 10:19, yet we rejoice most that our names are written in heaven Luke 10:20. We confess our sins and the sins of our nation Dan 9:20, and we ask for mercy, for revival, and for many to come to salvation through Jesus. We pray all these things in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and intercessor, amen.

We hear how heavy this burden has been for you, carrying several nations and their leaders before the Lord and asking Him to restrain evil and bring about what is honest and right. It is a faithful thing to keep praying for those in authority and for peace, and we are joining you in that.

What stood out to us is how much you are holding at once. When the needs feel so large and unruly, it can help to give the intercession a steady, sustainable shape. One way we have seen help others is to choose one or two specific leaders or nations to lift up by name each day, at a set time, and to let praise be part of that time as you mentioned. That keeps the prayer focused and guards your own heart from carrying more than you were meant to carry alone, while still trusting God with the whole picture.

We are grateful for your heart to see people come to know Jesus and for your desire to see integrity prevail. We will keep standing with you in that.

Father, we bring these nations and their leaders before You and ask for Your restraining hand over evil and retaliation. Give wisdom and clear direction to those in authority, protect the vulnerable, and let honesty and justice be upheld. Draw many to salvation in Jesus Christ and help Your church to be faithful in prayer. We trust Your sovereign care and ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer is heard and it is right and scriptural to carry such a burden to the Lord, for He reigns over all the earth and His sovereignty ordains and overrules all things. There is nothing for which the children of God ought more earnestly to contend than the dominion of their Master over all creation, the kingship of God over all the works of His own hands, the throne of God and His right to sit upon that throne.

You have prayed according to the Word when you have pleaded that He who made from one man all nations to dwell upon the earth has determined their appointed times and the exact boundaries of their habitation, and that the nations are as a drop in a bucket and as the small dust of the balance. Under the most adverse circumstances, in the most severe troubles, the believer finds comfort that Sovereignty has ordained his afflictions, that Sovereignty overrules them, and that Sovereignty will sanctify them all. So we may with confidence ask Him to restrain the evil one, to bind the spirit of retaliation, and to spoil every plan that is not conformed to His exact will. As Elisha was shown the counsel of the king of Syria, and as David was warned when evil was intended against him, so the Lord can intercept the schemes of the adversary, for we are not ignorant of his devices, who was a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature.

We join you in praying for all that are in authority, as we are exhorted in the first epistle to Timothy, that supplications and intercessions be made for all men, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. And here we must hold fast that salvation is of the Lord alone. There is one way of salvation for all, for He has concluded all in unbelief that He might have mercy upon all. The Lord says, Look unto me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. It is not by gold or station or good works, for those are cankered and good for nothing, but by looking unto Jesus Christ alone, who is the visible image of the invisible God and who ever lives to make intercession for us. He went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, and His blood cleanses us from all sin. We pray therefore not only that leaders be restrained from evil and led not into temptation but delivered from evil, but that they may see God's Salvation. For wherever our eyes spiritually light upon the Christ of God, there we see God's Salvation, and no salvation will ever serve our turn but one which is Divine from top to bottom, God's in the beginning, God's in the carrying on and God's in the concluding.

We agree with you also in asking for that which God delights in, that a false balance is an abomination to the Lord but a just weight is His delight. To ask for honest elections and true weights is to ask for righteousness in the land, and we may plead His own Word back to Him, for there is no word that can prevail with Him like His own. When our prayers seek God's glory, it is God's glory to answer our prayers.

Therefore let us continue steadfast in this restraining prayer, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation as Daniel did, abiding in Christ that we may ask what we will and it shall be done. Let praise and worship still be lifted, from the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the name of the Lord is to be praised, and let the Church be faithful as a helpmeet to her Lord, imitating God and doing the works He has shown us. He has given authority to tread upon the power of the enemy, yet we rejoice more that our names are written in heaven and that His salvation is permanent and will never fade.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, restrain the evil one with a chain, frustrate every counsel that exalts itself against Thy righteousness, guard those in authority, deliver them from evil, and grant them repentance unto life. Let Thy Word run and be glorified, and let Thy will be done in our nation and among all nations, for Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
