God Rules Nations, Restrains Evil, Dan 10:13, Guides & Saves Leaders, 1 Tim 2:1-4, Honest Elections, Prov 11:1...

Father, Restrain Evil, We Pray FOR ALL in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-4, SALVATION in Jesus' Name... Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15. Also, "A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight," Prov 11:1...

Lifting this burden to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 9, 27-28, 29-30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36, 37-38, 39-40, 41-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, imitating God, Eph 5:1, SINCE YOU EVER LIVE TO MAKE INTERCESSION, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. We join you in this burden for the nations and for those in authority, and we say amen to your cry that God would rule, restrain evil, guide and save leaders, and establish honesty and justice.

We agree that He is sovereign over all the earth, having made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons and the boundaries of their dwellings, Acts 17:26, and that surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket, and are regarded as a speck of dust on a balance, Isa 40:15. Nothing is beyond His reach, and no scheme of the evil one escapes His notice. We are not ignorant of his devices, 2 Cor 2:11, for he is a murderer from the beginning and the father of lies, John 8:44, yet we know that the Lord restrains him and that the prince of this world has been judged.

We lift up with you several unruly nations at this present time and we ask our Father to intercept evil plans sovereignly, as He did when Elisha heard the words that the king of Syria spoke in his bedroom and told them to the king of Israel, 2 Kings 6:12, and as David was warned when evil was determined against him, 1 Sam 20:33. We pray that You would bind the spirit of retaliation and violence over these lands, remembering how the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood the angel for twenty one days until Michael came to help, Dan 10:13, and we ask that You would push back the adversary from their leaders and strategists. We pray that praise and worship would go forth, for when David played with his hand Saul was refreshed and the distressing spirit departed from him, 1 Sam 16:23, and from the rising of the sun to its going down Yahweh's name is to be praised, Ps 113:3.

We pray for all who are in high places, as we are exhorted to make petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:1-4. We ask for their salvation in Jesus' name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and only through Jesus Christ, who is the image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, and who ever lives to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, do we have access to the Father. We thank You that Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him, Acts 10:38.

We pray that You would lead our own country and our leaders not into temptation but deliver them from evil, Matt 6:13, and that You would grant honest and just dealings in all matters of governance and elections, for a false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight, Prov 11:1. We ask that You would confound every dishonest scheme and let truth and righteousness prevail, and that those who bear witness would not bear false witness, Exod 20:16, but would speak truth as those called to be a holy nation, a royal priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9.

We confess our sins and the sins of our nation before You, Dan 9:20, and we ask for mercy. We thank You that You have given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, Luke 10:19, and that the devil was cast down like lightning from heaven, Luke 10:18, and will finally be bound with a great chain, Rev 20:2. Until that day we rejoice not only in authority but that our names are written in heaven, Luke 10:20, and we purpose to imitate You as beloved children, Eph 5:1, and to do the works You have called us to do as we abide in You and Your words abide in us, John 15:7, for Jesus said the one who believes in Him will do the works that He did, John 14:12.

Father, we ask You to spoil every plan of the evil one until only Your exact will remains, to restrain evil now and to guide leaders into wisdom, humility, and the fear of the Lord, that many would be saved. We trust You to answer according to Your perfect will and we continue with You in prayer and intercession until we see Your goodness in the land of the living. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We are grateful for your faithful intercession for nations and for those in authority. The burden you describe is heavy, holding several unruly situations before the Lord and asking Him to restrain evil and guide leaders toward what is right and true. We join you in that.

We also hear your desire for honesty and integrity in public life, and for leaders to come to know Jesus. It is a good and needed prayer to ask for protection from evil schemes and for wisdom for those who make decisions that affect so many.

Carrying this kind of burden can feel overwhelming when the news is constant. One thing that has helped others who pray in this way is to keep the focus sustainable, perhaps lifting one or two specific leaders or nations each day by name, and resting in the truth that God remains sovereign over all, even when we cannot see how He is working.

Father, we bring these nations and their leaders before You. Restrain what is evil, frustrate plans that would harm, and draw leaders and their advisors to Yourself. Give wisdom, courage to do what is right, and a love for truth. Guard Your church as we pray, and help us to trust You day by day. In Jesus name, amen.

We join you in this burden and spread it before the Lord who reigns over the nations. He it is who having made from one man all the nations of the earth has determined both their appointed times and the exact boundaries of their habitation, Acts 17:26, and before Him the nations are as a drop in a bucket and as the small dust of the balance, Isa 40:15. There is none else beside Him, and He will teach all men that He is God.

We take encouragement from the pattern of Daniel, who though high in position made no distinction in heart but remembered his people and confessed both his own sins and the sins of his city and his country, Dan 9:19,20, and pleaded that desolation might be removed. So we now confess our sins and the sins of our nation and ask for mercy. And we remember that there is no power like that of intercession. The secret springs that move the puppets of earth, for kings and princes are often little more than that, are the prayers of God's believing people. If God has made us intercessors, let us come with holy boldness to the throne of grace and plead for our nation and for our age.

We pray as you have asked, according to 1 Tim 2:1-4, that supplications and intercessions be made for all in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty, and that God our Saviour who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth may save leaders and strategists and people in these unruly countries. We ask not for salvation by any other way, for there is but one. Look unto me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, for I am God and there is none else, Isa 45:22. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, the visible image of the invisible God, who ever lives to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, and whose atonement is real and sufficient for real sinners.

We ask the Lord to restrain evil and to spoil the plans of the evil one, who is a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44. As you have prayed from Dan 10:13 and 2 Kings 6:12, we ask Him to intercept evil counsels and to bind the spirit of retaliation, to deliver our leaders and theirs not into temptation but from evil, Mt 6:13, and to frustrate every scheme that is not according to His exact will. We pray that He would use even the praise of His people to drive back darkness, for from the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the name of the Lord is to be praised, Ps 113:3.

We also pray for honest elections and just dealings among the nations, for a false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are His delight, Prov 11:1. May God grant integrity in the counting of votes and in the stewardship of power, that truth may not be cast down.

May the Church be found faithful as a helpmeet to her Lord, imitating God, Eph 5:1, doing the works of Christ in prayer and in whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7, and shooting many arrows of earnest prayer. We thank Him for authority over the enemy, Lk 10:19, and rejoice more that our names are written in heaven, Lk 10:20, and that these things which accompany salvation are ours in Christ.

We will continue to bear you and these nations before the Lord, asking that He will guide rulers, restrain wickedness, and above all save souls by looking unto Jesus. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Your prayer for the nations and for those in authority is good and right, and I join you in lifting it before the Lord who rules over all.

You have prayed according to the Scriptures, and we agree together that God is sovereign over every nation, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their dwelling, and that the nations are before Him as a drop in a bucket. Nothing escapes His knowledge or His power, and He is able to restrain evil, to frustrate the plans of the evil one, and to turn even the plots of men to serve His own wise purposes for salvation.

In keeping with the apostolic command, we pray for all who are in authority, that God would guide them, restrain them from evil, deliver them from temptation, and above all bring them to salvation through Jesus Christ alone. For this is good and acceptable before God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. There is one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, and there is no other name by which we must be saved. We pray that leaders and strategists would hear the gospel, repent, and be saved, and that the Church would be faithful as a royal priesthood to make intercession while there is still time, for now is the day of salvation.

We also pray as you have asked for honest elections and for justice in every land, for a false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but accurate weights are His delight. We ask Him to expose deceit, to restrain the liar and murderer from the beginning, and to establish truth and righteousness in public life, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. That quietness is not merely the absence of conflict, but a life ordered by faith and holiness before God.

Do not be discouraged by the greatness of the opposition. If God is for us, who can be against us. The enemy may rage and stir up rulers and peoples, yet God is able to make even those things that seem against us to work for our good and for His glory. Therefore we continue in prayer, in praise, and in watchfulness, not ignorant of the devil's schemes, but trusting in Christ who has triumphed over him, and who ever lives to make intercession for us.

May the Lord hear your confession for our land, grant repentance, restrain evil by His mighty hand, guard those in authority from the snares of the enemy, and cause His name to be praised from the rising of the sun to its setting. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and salvation. Amen.
