๐Ÿ™ Father, Restrain Evil, We Pray FOR ALL in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-4, SALVATION in Jesus' Name... ๐Ÿ™Œ Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15. Lifting this burden to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 9, 27-28, 29-30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36, 37-38, 39-40, 41-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, imitating God, Eph 5:1, SINCE YOU EVER LIVE TO MAKE INTERCESSION, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. Thank You in Jesus' Name.
 
We join you in this burden for the nations and we agree together before the throne of grace that God indeed rules over all and restrains evil according to His sovereign will.

We are encouraged by your heart to pray for all who are in authority as we are commanded in 1 Tim 2:1-4 which says we are to make petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. And we stand on the truth that He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons and the boundaries of their dwellings in Acts 17:26, and that surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket, and are regarded as a speck of dust on a balance in Isa 40:15. The Lord is sovereign and no plan of man or of the enemy can thwart His purposes.

We also agree with you for honest elections and integrity in every nation, for a false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight in Prov 11:1. We ask the Lord to expose every deceit and to establish righteousness and justice, for righteousness exalts a nation in Prov 14:34.

We lift up together those several unruly countries and their leaders and strategists where the spirit of retaliation and violence seeks to prevail. We remember how the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood the angel for twenty one days until Michael came to help in Dan 10:13, and how Elisha was shown the secret plans of the king of Syria in 2 Kings 6:12, and how Jonathan discerned the evil determined against David in 1 Sam 20:33. We ask our Father to sovereignly intercept every evil plan, to bind the work of the murderer and liar who was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him in John 8:44, and to bring to nothing the schemes of the devil for we are not ignorant of his devices in 2 Cor 2:11. We pray that He would back the evil one off of leaders and give them clear minds, and that praise and worship would drive back darkness as when David played and the distressing spirit departed from Saul in 1 Sam 16:23, for from the rising of the sun to its going down Yahweh's name is to be praised in Ps 113:3.

We pray together now, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, for You alone are sovereign and You alone can restrain evil. We ask You to deliver our country and our leaders and the leaders of these troubled nations from temptation and to deliver them from evil as You taught us to pray in Matt 6:13. Let Your Church be faithful to stand in the gap, to imitate You as beloved children in Eph 5:1 and to join with Your Son who ever lives to make intercession for us in Heb 7:25, who is the image of the invisible God in Col 1:15. We ask that You would anoint Your people to do the works of Jesus who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him in Acts 10:38, and to bear true witness as a holy nation and a royal priesthood in 1 Pet 2:9. Spoil every plan of the enemy until only Your exact will remains, and grant repentance and salvation to leaders and peoples, for it is Your desire that all be saved. We confess our sins and the sins of our nation before You as Daniel did in Dan 9:20, asking for Your mercy and forgiveness. We thank You that You have given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy in Luke 10:19, and that You saw Satan having fallen like lightning from heaven in Luke 10:18, and that he will be bound with a great chain in Rev 20:2. Yet we rejoice most that our names are written in heaven which accompanies salvation in Luke 10:20. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and let honest weights and righteous judgments prevail in every land. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, through whom we have access to You, amen.
 
We are grateful you shared this burden so faithfully. Your love for the nations and for those in authority comes through clearly, and your longing to see evil restrained and people come to know Jesus reflects God's own heart.

Carrying prayer for several countries and leaders at once can feel heavy, especially when the news is unruly and answers seem slow. We join you in remembering that God is sovereign over every boundary and season, and He truly invites His people to keep asking Him to work. We do not need to understand every scheme or see immediate change to pray with confidence. Christ's authority is sure, and we can rest in Him even as we ask Him to restrain what is evil and to guide what is good.

One simple way to keep this intercession steady without growing weary is to keep a short written list of the countries and leaders most on your heart and bring the same few requests before the Lord each day, with thanksgiving and worship as you already do. Praying in a quiet, regular rhythm, and with one or two others when possible, helps keep the burden shared and sustainable over time. Thank you for standing in the gap. We are praying with you.

Father, we lift these nations and their leaders to You. Restrain what is evil and protect what is good. Give wisdom and integrity to those in authority, guard what is entrusted to them from deceit, and draw many to salvation through Jesus. Keep this one encouraged and near to You as they continue to pray. In Jesus' name, amen.
 
Your burden has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, for the Lord reigns over the nations and does according to His will.

We take comfort with you in that sure truth, that He has made from one blood all nations to dwell upon the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the exact boundaries of their habitation, Acts 17:26, and that the nations are as a drop in a bucket and as the small dust of the balance, Isa 40:15. There is nothing for which the children of God ought more earnestly to contend than the dominion of their Master over all creation, the kingship of God over all the works of His own hands and His right to sit upon that throne. Sovereignty has ordained our afflictions, Sovereignty overrules them, and Sovereignty will sanctify them all.

You have done well to make this matter the subject of prayer, for there is no power like that of intercession. The secret springs that move the puppets of earth, for kings and princes are often little more than that, are the prayers of God's believing people. We do not restrain prayer but stir it up, pleading with God to restrain evil and to intercept the counsels of darkness as He did when Elisha heard the king of Syria and declared it to Israel, 2 Kings 6:12, and as He delivered David from the evil intended against him. We pray that the Lord would bind the spirit of retaliation and back the evil one off from leaders and strategists, for we are not ignorant of his schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, that murderer and liar from the beginning, John 8:44, and we pray as you have prayed, Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13.

We join you also in praying for all that are in authority, 1 Tim 2:1-4, that God would guide and save them. We ask not for a general blessing apart from Christ, for He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world, and hereby we know that we know Him if we keep His commandments. There is salvation in no other name under heaven, and we plead that leaders and peoples alike may be brought to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, who ever lives to make intercession for His own, Heb 7:25. The Holy Spirit Himself helps our infirmities and maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God, and unless we are made saints we cannot know that indwelling. Therefore we pray first for their salvation.

We pray also for honest balances in the land, for a false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but accurate weights are His delight, Prov 11:1. We ask the Lord to establish truth in our elections and in the governance of unruly nations, to spoil the plans of the evil one until they only conform to His exact will, and to use even the praise of His people to drive back darkness, as when the evil spirit departed from Saul at the sound of worship, 1 Sam 16:23.

Let us not cease from intercession at the borders of the promised land. When the Church cannot take No for an answer, she shall not have No for an answer. Therefore we will wait for You, for You have made all these things. We confess our sins and the sins of our nation with Daniel, Dan 9:20, and we plead the Word back to God, for there is no word that can prevail with Him like His own. We thank Him for authority to tread upon the power of the enemy, Luke 10:19, yet we rejoice more that our names are written in heaven, Luke 10:20, and that the things which accompany salvation are ours in Christ.

May the Lord keep you steadfast in this holy work of pleading, imitating Him who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil, Acts 10:38, and may He answer for His own glory, for when our prayers seek His glory it is His glory to answer them. We lay these unruly countries, our own land, and all who rule over us before Him now, asking Him to restrain evil with a great chain even now in part, and to bring forth righteousness and praise in His perfect time, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We join you in lifting this burden before the Lord who is sovereign over all nations. As you have prayed, He has made from one man all the nations of the earth and determined their appointed times and the exact boundaries of their habitation, Acts 17:26, and surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket and regarded as the small dust of the balance, Isa 40:15. Nothing escapes His rule and nothing is too great or too small for His governance.

We agree with you in asking Him to restrain evil and to intercept the plans of the evil one. Scripture teaches that the one called the ruler of this world does not rule heaven and earth as if he had power over all things, but he rules over darkness and over those who give themselves up to him. In Christ he has nothing, and Christ has overcome him. We are not ignorant of his schemes, for he is a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44, yet God in His wisdom is able to turn even the plots of enemies to our salvation and glory. As you cited from Daniel 10, there is a real spiritual conflict, and we pray with you that God would bind the spirit of retaliation and restrain the adversary, even as He once made known the plans of the king of Syria to Elisha and delivered David from Saul.

We also pray with you for all who are in authority, according to 1 Tim 2:1 to 4, that God would guide them, deliver them from evil and lead them not into temptation, Mt 6:13, and above all that they might be saved through faith in Jesus Christ alone. For there is one name under heaven by which we must be saved, and God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. We pray that our leaders and the leaders of those unruly countries would have honest counsel and that justice would be done with honest weights, for a false balance is an abomination to the Lord but accurate weights are His delight, Prov 11:1. This includes honest elections and integrity in all public dealings.

You prayed for a quiet and peaceable life, and Scripture reminds us that this is not merely the absence of outward turmoil, such as even those who do not know God may enjoy for a time, but a life lived in all godliness and honesty, with doctrine and life agreeing together. Part of that godly life is to recompense no one evil for evil, but to provide things honest in the sight of all men, whether the other be friend or enemy, believer or unbeliever. We do not overcome evil by repaying it, but by committing our cause to God who judges righteously and who ever lives to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25.

So we continue with you in intercession, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation as Daniel did, asking for mercy, for the restraint of evil, for the praise of His name from the rising of the sun to its setting, Ps 113:3, and for the Church to be faithful in prayer and in doing the good works of Christ, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, Acts 10:38. We thank God that if He is for us, nothing can finally be against us, for He did not spare His own Son but gave Him for us all, and He will with Him freely give us all things. May the Lord establish His will, restrain what is evil, and draw many to salvation in Jesus name. Amen.
