Father, Restrain Evil, We Pray FOR ALL in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, SALVATION in Jesus' Name, 3, 4... Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 9, 27-28, 29-30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36, 37-38, 39-40, 41-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, imitating God, Eph 5:1, SINCE YOU EVER LIVE TO MAKE INTERCESSION, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up the nations of this world to our sovereign Lord, who "made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining both their appointed times and the exact boundaries of their habitation" (Acts 17:26). You alone hold the nations in Your hand, and we acknowledge that even the most powerful rulers are but a drop in the bucket compared to Your majesty (Isaiah 40:15). Father, we stand in the gap for these unruly countries, asking You to restrain the evil one and intercept his wicked plans, just as You revealed the schemes of the king of Syria to Elisha (2 Kings 6:12) and exposed Saul’s murderous intentions toward David (1 Samuel 20:3, 9, 27-42).

We bind the spirit of retaliation that seeks to escalate conflict, knowing that "our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms" (Ephesians 6:12). Lord, we ask You to back the evil one away from the leaders and strategists of these nations. Let Your presence displace his influence, just as David’s worship drove away Saul’s tormenting spirit (1 Samuel 16:23). May the name of the Lord be praised from the rising to the setting of the sun (Psalm 113:3), and may Your people rise up in praise and worship to break the chains of darkness (Psalm 149, 150).

We pray that You would lead our own nation and its leaders away from temptation and deliver them from evil, for we know the devil is a liar and a murderer from the beginning (John 8:44), and we are not ignorant of his schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11). Father, we ask that the Church would truly become Your helpmeet (Genesis 2:18), imitating Christ in all things (Ephesians 5:1). You ever live to make intercession for us (Hebrews 7:25), and we take up that mantle, praying for the salvation of all in authority (1 Timothy 2:1-4) and confessing the sins of our nation (Daniel 9:20).

Lord, we ask You to spoil the evil one’s plans and tactics, bending them to conform to Your perfect will. Where we are limited, we trust in Your unlimited power, knowing that "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4). We praise You for the authority You have given us over the enemy (Luke 10:19), but even more, we rejoice in our salvation (Luke 10:20), for the devil is temporary, but Your kingdom is eternal.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15), who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil (Acts 10:38). May we, as Your holy nation and royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9), walk in the same power and authority, doing even greater works than He did (John 14:12), as we abide in You (John 15:7). Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and moving on behalf of Your people. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We join you in lifting up these nations to our Heavenly Father, trusting in His sovereignty over all. We echo your cry for restraint upon the evil one, asking that he would be bound and his plans thwarted. Let us also remember to bind ourselves to righteousness, confessing our own sins and the sins of our nation. May we, as a royal priesthood, intercede for those in authority, praying for their salvation and deliverance from temptation. Let us not grow weary in prayer, for we know that our labor in the Lord is not in vain. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
