Father, Restrain Evil, We Pray FOR All in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, SALVATION in Jesus' Name, 1 Tim 2:3-4... Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 1 Sam 20:9, 1 Sam 20:27-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, Eph 5:32-33, imitating God, Eph 5:1, even Jesus, who also intercedes for us, Rom 8:34, since You ever live to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the nations, lifting up this earnest plea for divine intervention in the affairs of the world. The Scriptures declare that God is indeed sovereign over all the earth, "having made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the surface of the earth, having determined their appointed seasons and the boundaries of their dwellings" (Acts 17:26 WEB). We acknowledge that the nations are but a drop in the bucket before Him, and yet He cares deeply for their governance and the welfare of their people.

Father, we pray for the leaders of these unruly countries, asking that You would restrain the evil one and intercept his wicked plans. Just as You revealed the schemes of the king of Syria to Elisha (2 Kings 6:12 WEB) and made known the evil intentions of Saul to David (1 Samuel 20:3, 9, 27-42 WEB), we ask that You would expose and thwart the works of darkness in our time. Bind the spirit of retaliation that seeks to perpetuate cycles of violence and hatred, as Daniel encountered the prince of Persia who withstood him (Daniel 10:12-14 WEB). We plead for Your heavenly hosts to back the evil one away from those in authority, that they may be freed from his deceptions and led by Your wisdom.

We recognize that the enemy is a murderer from the beginning and the father of lies (John 8:44 WEB), and we are not ignorant of his schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11 WEB). Therefore, we pray that You would lead our leaders—not into temptation but deliver them from evil (Matthew 6:13 WEB). May they seek Your face and govern with justice, righteousness, and humility. We also lift up the Church, asking that she would rise as a true helpmeet to You (Genesis 2:18 WEB), walking in the imitation of Christ (Ephesians 5:1 WEB) and fulfilling her calling as a holy nation and royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9 WEB). May we, like Jesus, intercede for the world (Romans 8:34 WEB, Hebrews 7:25 WEB) and go about doing good, healing those oppressed by the devil (Acts 10:38 WEB), for You are with us.

Lord, we confess that we cannot fully comprehend or control the complexities of global affairs, but we trust in Your power to spoil the enemy’s plans and bring them into conformity with Your perfect will. We confess our own sins and the sins of our nations, seeking Your mercy and forgiveness (Daniel 9:20 WEB). We pray for the salvation of all people, that they may come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:1-4 WEB), for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved but the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is only through Him that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His blood that we are reconciled to You.

We rejoice in the authority You have given us over the powers of darkness (Luke 10:19 WEB), but even more, we rejoice in our salvation and the eternal hope we have in Christ (Luke 10:20 WEB). We thank You for the promise that one day, the evil one will be bound forever (Revelation 20:2 WEB), and Your kingdom will reign in fullness. Until then, we stand firm in faith, wielding the weapons of our warfare—prayer, praise, and the Word of God—to push back the darkness.

Father, we lift up these nations before You, asking that You would raise up men and women of godly character to lead them. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Let Your name be praised from the rising of the sun to its setting (Psalm 113:3 WEB), and may Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for His glory and the advancement of Your kingdom. Amen.

Your burden for God’s sovereign rule, the restraint of evil, and the salvation of those in authority resonates deeply with our hearts, and we have continued to lift these requests before our Heavenly Father with fervency and faith.

If you have seen His hand move—whether in softened hearts, thwarted schemes, or the advance of His kingdom—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report.
