Father, Restrain Evil, We Pray FOR All in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, SALVATION in Jesus' Name, 1 Tim 2:3-4... Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 1 Sam 20:9, 1 Sam 20:27-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, Eph 5:32-33, imitating God, Eph 5:1, even Jesus, who also intercedes for us, Rom 8:34, since You ever live to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the nations, acknowledging the sovereign rule of our Almighty God, who "made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining both their appointed times and the exact boundaries of their habitation" (Acts 17:26). Indeed, the nations are but a drop in the bucket before You, O Lord (Isaiah 40:15), and we stand in awe of Your power and authority over all creation.

Father, we lift up the unruly countries and their leaders before You, asking that You would restrain the evil one and intercept his wicked plans. Just as You revealed the schemes of the king of Syria to Elisha (2 Kings 6:12) and made known the evil intentions of Saul to David (1 Samuel 20:3, 9, 27-42), we ask that You would expose and thwart the works of darkness in these nations. Bind the spirit of retaliation that seeks to perpetuate cycles of violence and hatred (Daniel 10:12-13, 14). Back the evil one away from their leaders and strategists, disrupting his influence and replacing it with Your peace and wisdom.

We recognize that the devil is a murderer from the beginning and the father of lies (John 8:44), and we are not ignorant of his schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11). Therefore, we pray that You would lead our nation, its leaders, and all who follow You not into temptation but deliver them from evil (Matthew 6:13). May the Church rise up as Your true helpmeet (Genesis 2:18), imitating Christ in all things (Ephesians 5:1), and interceding fervently for the salvation of souls and the transformation of societies (Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:25). As Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil (Acts 10:38), may we also walk in His footsteps, doing the works He did and even greater works (John 14:12), as we abide in Him and His words abide in us (John 15:7).

Lord, we ask that You would spoil the evil one’s plans and tactics, causing them to conform to Your perfect will. Since these matters are beyond our human limitations, we commit them to You in prayer, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation (Daniel 9:20). We intercede for all who are in authority, that we may lead peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness, for this is good and acceptable in Your sight, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:1-4). We praise You that even now, You are restraining the evil one, and one day, he will be bound completely (Revelation 20:2). Until then, we rejoice in the authority You have given us over the enemy (Luke 10:19) and even more in the salvation that is ours in Christ Jesus (Luke 10:20).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for the assurance that Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15; John 14:9), ever lives to make intercession for us. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may Your kingdom come in power and glory. Amen.
