Beloved of All
🙏 Father, thank You for Isaiah 62:6-7, "On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD shall take no rest for yourselves, nor give Him any rest until He establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth." We petition You to Restrain Evil, we pray for all in authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, salvation in Jesus' Name, 1 Tim 2:3-4... 🙌 Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining both their appointed times and exact boundaries of their habitation," Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden to You, asking You to restrain the evil one over several unruly countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 1 Sam 20:9, 1 Sam 20:27-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation and aggression over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using our prayer, praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the name of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country, and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church actually be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, Eph 5:32-33, imitating God, Eph 5:1, even Jesus, who also intercedes for us, Rom 8:34, since You ever live to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing good and healing -- all -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a holy nation, and royal priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We stand together in fervent agreement with this powerful and scriptural plea, lifting our voices as watchmen on the walls, refusing to be silent until God’s purposes are established and His name is praised in all the earth. The burden you carry for the nations is a holy one, for Scripture declares, "Ask of me, and I will give the nations for your inheritance, the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession" (Psalm 2:8). We join you in crying out for the restraint of evil, the exposure of wicked schemes, and the salvation of leaders and peoples according to God’s sovereign will.

Father, we acknowledge Your absolute authority over the nations, for "the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He will" (Daniel 4:17). You determine the boundaries of every nation, and nothing escapes Your sight. We plead with You to intervene in the affairs of the unruly countries mentioned, where darkness seeks to prevail. As Elisha prayed and You revealed the secret counsels of Syria to Israel (2 Kings 6:12), we ask You to intercept and frustrate every evil plan before it comes to pass. Let the schemes of the enemy be turned back upon their own heads, as with Haman in Esther’s day, and let Your people be delivered from every snare.

We bind the spirit of retaliation and aggression in the name of Jesus, for "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4). The prince of this world, the devil, is a liar and a murderer from the beginning (John 8:44), and his tactics are always the same, division, deception, and destruction. But we declare that his power is limited, and his time is short. We take authority over every demonic influence seeking to incite violence, hatred, and chaos, and we command it to flee in Jesus’ name. As David discerned Saul’s murderous intent (1 Samuel 20:3, 9, 27-42), grant Your people discernment today to recognize and resist the enemy’s devices.

Lord, we pray for the leaders of these nations, that You would turn their hearts as rivers of water in Your hand (Proverbs 21:1). Where there is corruption, expose it. Where there is pride, humble it. Where there is ignorance of Your ways, reveal truth. We ask for repentance and salvation for those in authority, for "this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:3-4). Raise up godly counselors around them, men and women of integrity who will speak truth and stand for righteousness.

We also recognize that the Church must rise as Your helpmeet, as Eve was to Adam (Genesis 2:18), to labor alongside Christ in intercession and action. We are called to be imitators of God (Ephesians 5:1), walking in love and holiness, and to do the works that Jesus did (John 14:12). Let us not grow weary in prayer, praise, and worship, for these are powerful weapons against the enemy. As David’s harp drove away Saul’s tormenting spirit (1 Samuel 16:23), let our worship drive back the darkness. Let the name of the Lord be praised from the rising of the sun to its going down (Psalm 113:3), and let the gates of hell tremble at the sound of His people’s voices.

Father, we confess our own sins and the sins of our nations, idolatry, immorality, injustice, and rebellion against Your commands. We humble ourselves before You, seeking Your mercy and forgiveness. "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14). We plead the blood of Jesus over our lands, asking for a spiritual awakening that will turn hearts back to You.

We thank You for the authority You have given us in Christ to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Though the devil is a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), we resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We rejoice not in the temporary power of darkness but in the eternal salvation we have in Jesus, for our names are written in heaven (Luke 10:20).

Lord, we ask You to spoil the enemy’s plans and tactics, turning them into foolishness and confusion. Let every plot against Your people be exposed and dismantled, as You did for Mordecai and Esther. Chain the evil one now, even as he will one day be bound for a thousand years (Revelation 20:2), and let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28).

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Lamb who was slain, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the King of kings and Lord of lords. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. We seal this prayer with faith, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

We hear the weight you’re carrying for the nations, and we’re joining you in that watchman cry. When world events churn and so much feels beyond our reach, it can be exhausting to keep lifting leaders and unrest before the Lord. Yet your prayers aren’t a small thing; they’re woven into something far larger than we can see, the quiet but real restraint of evil the Bible pictures again and again. The temptation is to measure prayer by visible results, but intercession like yours works underground. It shapes our own hearts first, anchoring us deeper in trust that God’s sovereignty hasn’t stalled.

Since this burden is ongoing, a simple next step might be to tether it to something concrete, maybe once a day pausing over a specific country or a particular leader, even for just a moment, rather than trying to hold the whole map at once. Let your prayers narrow into a steady, daily habit. That persistence does more than we know.

Lord, we ask You to silence evil strategies over nations in turmoil, to guide rulers toward justice and restraint, and to lead many into the saving knowledge of Jesus. Strengthen this intercessor and all who refuse to give You rest until You establish Your purposes. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God, convict and bless our country, USA. I prayed with you in Jesus' Name amen.

The burden you are carrying for the nations sits upon your spirit like a weight that will not lift, and I can feel it even as I read your words. These are not small petitions you are bringing to the throne, you are standing in the council-chamber of the King, asking Him to seize the reins of unruly powers and turn them at His will. You are pleading that He would do what only He can do: expose the plots hatched in darkness, bind the spirit of aggression, and make even the wrath of men to praise Him. It is a high and holy work, and it is no wonder that your soul feels stretched upon the rack of it.

But I wonder, and I ask you gently, whether you have begun to think that the answer tarries because of some fault in your pleading, or that the heavens have grown brass above your head. You have thrown yourself into this intercession with the whole force of your being, and yet the nations rage. The news this morning may have told you of fresh threats, new cruelties, schemes that seemed to prosper in the very hour you were praying against them. And the tempter may have whispered that your labour is in vain, that you are only beating the air, that you might as well try to hold back the tide with your two hands.

Oh, let me take you by the arm and draw you aside for a moment and speak a better word to your heart.

Do you remember the man Job, who sat in the ashes and scraped himself with a potsherd, and how his captivity was turned? Not when he argued his case before the Almighty, not when he vindicated his own righteousness, but when he prayed for his friends. That was the turning of the tide. That was the bow in the cloud, the dove returning with the olive branch. The very act of intercession for others became the omen of his own restoration. So it is with you. You are not shouting into an empty cavern; you are pouring your prayers into the ear of the living God, and He is storing them up as precious wine. The very fact that He has laid this burden on your heart is the pledge that He intends to do something about it.

You have been standing watch on the walls, refusing silence day or night, and that is well. But do not imagine that the safety of Jerusalem rests on the strength of your vigil. The watchman does not hold up the walls, he only reports to the King. And the King has His own purposes, His own hours, His own inscrutable ways. He may permit the enemy to mass his forces for a season, only to scatter them with a whisper when the appointed moment comes. The prince of Persia withstood the angel for twenty-one days, but the help of heaven was already on its way. Your prayers are part of that heavenly movement, not its engine. Christ Himself ever lives to intercede, and He has joined your feeble breath to His own mighty plea. You are not alone on the wall.

I want you to take a deep draught of this: the evil that you are praying against has already been met and measured at Calvary. The cross of our Lord Jesus Christ is God’s eternal verdict upon sin and upon the dark powers that drive the madness of the nations. When the veil of the temple was torn from top to bottom, it was not only to let us in, it was to let Him out. The Holy One is no longer shut up in thick darkness; He has come forth to claim the whole earth as His own. Every plot hatched in secret, every scheme of the wicked one, every raging of the heathen, all of it falls under the shadow of that cross and the triumph of that empty tomb. You are not praying for a victory that must still be won; you are praying the finished victory of Golgotha into the present chaos of the hour. That is a very different thing, and it changes everything.

I know the temptation to fret when the answer does not come in the shape you expected. Naaman stood at Jordan’s bank and thought it a foolish thing to dip in that muddy stream when Abana and Pharpar ran cleaner and wider at home. But the command was simple, and the healing lay in the obeying, not in the understanding. So it is with your prayer. You have poured out your heart in the precise shape of Scripture; you have pled the promises; you have confessed the sins; you have asked for the restraint of evil. Now leave the manner and the moment to Him. The answer may come in a way that seems at first like no answer at all, a quiet shifting of counsels in a cabinet room you will never enter, a sudden hesitation in a general’s mind, a storm that scatters a fleet, a word that turns a heart. God is not bound to send you a report of His operations. But He is bound by His own faithful character to hear and to act.

And here is a pillow for your head tonight: your intercession is not a service you render grudgingly; it is an instinct of the new nature within you. A bird set free from its cage does not need to be commanded to sing. The newly delivered soul pleads for others still in the prison, and that impulse is the breath of the indwelling Spirit. When you groan over the nations, you are only joining in the groanings of the Spirit who intercedes with groanings too deep for words. You are not a lone petitioner; you are a member of the body whose Head is already in heaven and whose heart is always beating with love for a lost world.

So cast this burden upon the Lord, as David did when his own familiar friend lifted up his heel against him. He did not pretend the betrayal did not hurt; he mourned and made a noise. But he knew where to carry the weight. The Lord will sustain you; He will never permit the righteous to be moved. You may be in deep waters, but you are not in deep waters alone. The Pilot of the Galilean storm is at the helm of this tempest, and He will bring the vessel to its desired haven.

Let me leave you with this: the darkness you are warring against is not the darkness of a Lord’s absence; it is the darkness before the dawn. Already the eastern sky grows grey with the promise of day. The stone is rolled away. The veil is rent. The Way is open. And every prayer you have prayed is a seed sown in that new-created soil, which shall yet spring up and bear fruit to the praise of His glorious grace.

---

Father, into Thy hands we commit this dear soul who carries the weight of the nations. Thou hast posted them on the walls, and they have not been silent. But now, Lord, we ask Thee to bear the burden that is too heavy for mortal shoulders. Let Thy peace, which passeth all understanding, mount guard over their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Fulfill Thine own purposes in every land where evil seems to triumph; restrain the destroyer; exalt the humble; and let the gospel run swiftly and be glorified. And until that day when the kingdoms of this world become the kingdom of our God and of His Christ, keep this watchman steady and full of hope, knowing that their labour is not in vain in the Lord. Raise them up from the land of their heaviness, and put a new song in their mouth, even praise unto Thee. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing with you in prayer as you lift up the nations, their leaders, and the spiritual battles unfolding across the earth. Your burden for righteousness and your reliance on Scripture to guide your prayers have stirred our hearts, and we have continued to intercede alongside you, asking our Heavenly Father to restrain evil, expose dark schemes, and establish His purposes in every corner of the world.

We have prayed that the spirit of aggression and retaliation would be bound, just as Daniel 10 describes, and that the Lord would sovereignly intercept and dismantle every evil plan, just as He did in the days of Elisha and David. We have asked Him to raise up watchmen—faithful intercessors—who will not grow silent until His justice, peace, and salvation prevail. We have also petitioned the Lord to strengthen His Church, that she would truly be His helpmeet, walking in the authority and love of Christ, doing the works He did, and even greater works, as He promised.

If the Lord has already moved in response to these prayers—if you have seen His hand restrain evil, guide leaders, or bring salvation—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony would encourage us all and remind us of His faithfulness. If, however, the battle still rages and the answers seem distant, we invite you to post this request again. We are committed to standing with you in prayer until the Lord’s will is fully established, for we know that He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it.

May the Lord continue to bless you as you seek Him with a heart of intercession. May He grant you wisdom, endurance, and a deeper revelation of His sovereignty over all the nations. And may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
