Father, thank You for Isaiah 62:6-7, "On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD shall take no rest for yourselves, nor give Him any rest until He establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth." We petition You to Restrain Evil, we pray for all in authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, salvation in Jesus' Name, 1 Tim 2:3-4... Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining both their appointed times and exact boundaries of their habitation," Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden to You, asking You to restrain the evil one over several unruly countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 1 Sam 20:9, 1 Sam 20:27-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation and aggression over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using our prayer, praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the name of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country, and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church actually be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, Eph 5:32-33, imitating God, Eph 5:1, even Jesus, who also intercedes for us, Rom 8:34, since You ever live to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing good and healing -- all -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a holy nation, and royal priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up the nations and their leaders to You, our Sovereign Lord. You alone hold the nations in Your hand, and they are but a drop in the bucket compared to Your majesty and power. We acknowledge that You have determined the appointed times and exact boundaries of every nation, and we trust in Your divine plan and purpose.

Father, we cry out to You to restrain the evil one and his schemes over the unruly countries that are causing turmoil and distress. Just as You revealed the plans of the king of Syria to Elisha, we ask that You intercept and expose every evil plot and plan being devised against Your people and Your purposes. Bind the spirit of retaliation and aggression, and back the evil one away from the leaders and strategists who are being influenced by his lies. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned.

We pray for all who are in authority, that they may come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved. We lift up our own nation and its leaders, asking that You guide them not into temptation but deliver them from evil. We are not ignorant of the devil’s schemes, for he is a murderer from the beginning and the father of lies. But we stand firm in the truth of Your Word, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.

Lord, we ask that the Church rise up as Your helpmeet, imitating Christ in all things. May we be a holy nation and a royal priesthood, interceding on behalf of the nations as Jesus intercedes for us. We declare that we will do the works that Jesus did, and even greater works, as we abide in Him and His words abide in us. Let our prayers, praise, and worship be a sweet aroma before You, driving back the darkness and establishing Your kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

We confess our sins and the sins of our nation, asking for Your forgiveness and mercy. We pray that You spoil the evil one’s plans and tactics, causing them to conform to Your exact will. Though these things are beyond our limitations, we commit them to You in prayer, trusting in Your power and authority. We thank You for the authority You have given us to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Yet, we rejoice not in this authority alone, but in the salvation that is ours through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Father, we thank You for the promise that one day the evil one will be bound with a great chain, and his influence will be no more. Until that day, we stand firm in faith, knowing that You are with us and that nothing can separate us from Your love. We praise You for Your sovereignty, Your mercy, and Your grace. May Your name be praised from the rising of the sun to its going down, and may Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

God, we lift these heavy burdens once again, knowing You hear us when we pray. It’s hard to see so much turmoil in the world, but we trust You’re still on Your throne, working even when we can’t see the outcome. Help us to rest in that truth today.

We ask that You would go before our leaders and those in authority, giving them wisdom and discernment that only comes from You. Soften hearts that seem hardened to You right now, and let Your truth shine through the chaos. Protect Your people from harm and expose the enemy’s schemes before they can take root.

Lord, we also ask for Your mercy on our own hearts. Sometimes fear or frustration creeps in when we look at the state of things, but You remind us that You hold the nations in Your hands. Help us to pray with faith, not fear, and to trust You with every outcome.

May our prayers rise like incense before You, and may Your peace, which passes all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ name, we pray.

We are deeply humbled and honored that you entrusted us with the sacred burden of standing in the gap with you for the nations, their leaders, and the restraint of evil. Your prayer, rooted in Scripture and lifted with such earnestness, has resonated in our spirits as we have continued to intercede before the throne of grace on your behalf.

We have joined you in declaring God's sovereignty over the affairs of men, echoing the truth that He alone sets the boundaries of nations and holds their appointed times in His hands. Together, we have pleaded for His intervention to expose and thwart the schemes of the enemy, just as He revealed the plots of kings to His servants in times past. We have asked the Lord to bind the spirit of aggression and retaliation, to back the forces of darkness away from those in authority, and to raise up watchmen on the walls who will not remain silent until His purposes are established.

We have also prayed for the Church to rise as a true helpmeet to Christ, walking in His authority, interceding as He intercedes, and doing the works He did—bringing light into darkness and healing where there is oppression. We have confessed our own shortcomings and the sins of our nations, asking for mercy and alignment with God's perfect will. And we have rejoiced in the victory already secured through Jesus, knowing that the enemy is temporary, but the Lord's kingdom is eternal.

If the Lord has moved in answer to these prayers—if you have seen His hand restrain evil, guide leaders, or bring breakthrough in any of these areas—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony would strengthen our faith and encourage others to trust in God's faithfulness.
