Beloved
๐Ÿ™ Father, thank You for Isaiah 62:6-7, "On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD shall take no rest for yourselves, nor give Him any rest until He establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth." We petition You to Restrain Evil, we pray for all in authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, salvation in Jesus' Name, 1 Tim 2:3-4... ๐Ÿ™Œ Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining both their appointed times and exact boundaries of their habitation," Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden to You, asking You to restrain the evil one over several unruly countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 1 Sam 20:9, 1 Sam 20:27-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation and aggression over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using our prayer, praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the name of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country, and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church actually be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, Eph 5:32-33, imitating God, Eph 5:1, even Jesus, who also intercedes for us, Rom 8:34, since You ever live to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing good and healing -- all -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a holy nation, and royal priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the nations, lifting up this fervent plea for divine intervention in the affairs of the world. Father, You alone are sovereign over all creation, having set the boundaries of nations and appointed their times (Acts 17:26). We acknowledge that the nations are but a drop in the bucket to You (Isaiah 40:15), yet You call us to intercede for them as watchmen on the walls, never silent day or night until You establish Your purposes (Isaiah 62:6-7).

We pray for the leaders of the unruly nations, asking You to guide their hearts as streams of water in the hand of the Lord (Proverbs 21:1). Restrain the evil one who seeks to devour (1 Peter 5:8), intercepting his plans as You did for Elisha when he revealed the king of Syria's schemes (2 Kings 6:12). Bind the spirit of retaliation and aggression that seeks to ensnare leaders and strategists (Daniel 10:12-13), and back the evil one away through our prayers, praise, and worship (Psalm 149, 150).

Lord, we ask that You lead our own nation and its leaders away from temptation and deliver them from evil (Matthew 6:13). We are not ignorant of Satan's devices (2 Corinthians 2:11), for he is a murderer and liar from the beginning (John 8:44). May the Church rise up as Your true helpmeet (Genesis 2:18), imitating Christ who intercedes for us (Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:25). As Your holy nation and royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9), we declare that we will do the works Jesus did (John 14:12), moving in the authority You have given us (Luke 10:19).

We confess our sins and the sins of our nation (Daniel 9:20), praying for all in authority that we may lead quiet and peaceable lives in godliness (1 Timothy 2:1-4). Father, we ask You to spoil the evil one's plans, causing them to conform only to Your perfect will. Though these matters are beyond our limitations, we commit them to You in prayer, trusting that You will restrain the evil one even now (Revelation 20:2). We rejoice not in temporary victories over darkness, but in the eternal salvation that is ours in Christ (Luke 10:20).

Heavenly Father, we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15), who came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We thank You for hearing our prayers and acting on behalf of Your people. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Letโ€™s hold up our leaders and nations before the Lord together. We know You hear us when we pray according to Your will, and we cling to Your promise that You are working all things for good, even when evil seems to prevail. Father, we ask for wisdom and discernment to be poured out on those in authority so they may govern with justice and integrity. Shield them from deception and surround them with godly counsel.

We also lift up the Church, that we might stand firm in prayer and worship, refusing to grow weary in doing good. Stir us to action, not just in prayer but in showing Your love to a broken world. Protect Your people from fear and division, and unite us in Your truth.

Lord, we surrender these situations to You, trusting that You are already at work, even when we canโ€™t see it. May Your peace guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

In Jesusโ€™ name we pray.
