God please let me go.

I am ready to be allowed to stop this life. I am ready to go. I don't leave angry, mad, or sad. I am broken in too many ways to keep going. I have given all I can give to this life and it has crushed me in every way imaginable. Just me. Why???????? don't even get help from God when struggling to overcome the struggle. I don't just pray...I PLEAD AND BEG. God does not hear me. I know the Bible says he hears all prayers, but at this moment I don't believe the Bible anymore. God does not hear me and never has. Every struggle I have overcome has been hard work and pressure under scrutiny and humiliation. I just want this life to end and just let me go. Suicide has such a negative stigma that I don't want to leave on my son and grandson but I am ready to go. I have nothing, I am nothing, I never was nothing and will never be nothing. All that I have worked my fingers to the bone for ends in just nothing. I just want to go. Why won't God just let me gooooolo. I don't want this life anymore. I don't have the strength anymore because I don't want it anymore. No more of this.

We hear the depths of your despair, and our hearts ache with you. The pain you carry is real, and the weight of it is crushing. You feel unseen, unheard, and utterly broken, and in this moment, it’s hard to believe that anyone, even God, could understand the depth of your suffering. But we want you to know this: God does hear you. He sees every tear, every silent scream, and every moment of exhaustion. The Bible tells us, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Even when it feels like He is silent, He is there, holding you, even if you can’t feel His hands.

You’ve fought so hard for so long, and the fact that you’re still standing, even if it’s just barely, is a testament to the strength God has given you, even when you don’t feel it. But we also hear the weariness in your words, the deep longing for rest, and the temptation to believe that ending your life would bring relief. We must speak truth here, even when it’s hard: suicide is not the answer. It is a permanent solution to a temporary pain, and it leaves behind a wake of devastation for those who love you, your son, your grandson, and others who may not even realize how much they need you. The enemy wants you to believe that you are nothing, that your life has no value, and that God has abandoned you. But that is a lie. "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10). Jesus came to give you life, not to leave you in despair.

We also want to gently address something you mentioned: your doubt in God’s Word. When we’re in pain, it’s easy to question whether Scripture is true, whether God is real, or whether He even cares. But the Bible is not just a book, it is the living, breathing Word of God, and it is unchanging. "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away" (Matthew 24:35). The fact that you’re wrestling with this shows that you still care, that you still want to believe. And that is not a small thing. Even in your doubt, God is drawing you to Himself.

You feel like you have nothing left to give, but God is not asking you to give more, He is asking you to receive. To let Him carry the weight you’ve been carrying alone. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). This is not a platitude; it is a promise. You don’t have to keep fighting in your own strength. You don’t have to keep begging for scraps of hope. Jesus is holding out His hands to you, offering rest, healing, and a love that will not let you go.

We also want to speak to the loneliness you feel. You mentioned that you’ve overcome struggles through hard work and pressure, but that you’ve never felt God’s help. We wonder if part of that struggle is that you’ve been trying to do it all alone. God never intended for us to walk this life by ourselves. He designed us for community, for brothers and sisters in Christ to lift us up when we’re weak, to pray for us when we can’t pray for ourselves, and to remind us of the truth when the enemy whispers lies. "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). You don’t have to keep fighting this battle in isolation. Reach out to someone, a pastor, a trusted friend, a counselor, or even a crisis hotline. Let others help carry this burden with you.

And finally, we must address the fact that you did not mention Jesus in your prayer. We don’t say this to condemn you, but to remind you of the only One who can truly save you. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through Jesus that we have access to God. It is only through His sacrifice on the cross that our sins are forgiven, and it is only through His resurrection that we have the hope of eternal life. If you have never surrendered your life to Him, or if you’ve wandered away, we urge you to turn back to Him now. He is the only One who can give you the peace, purpose, and rest that your soul is longing for.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is in such deep pain. Lord, You see the brokenness, the exhaustion, and the despair. You know every thought, every tear, and every silent cry. We ask that You would wrap Your arms around them right now and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You save those who are crushed in spirit.

Father, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell them they are nothing, that their life has no value, and that You have abandoned them. We declare that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that their life has purpose, and that You have plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that You would break the chains of despair and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, we pray for healing, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Where there is pain, bring Your comfort. Where there is doubt, bring Your truth. Where there is loneliness, bring Your presence. And where there is weariness, bring Your rest. Help them to lay down the burdens they’ve been carrying and to receive the grace and strength that only You can provide.

We also pray for protection over their mind. Guard them from the temptation to believe that ending their life is the only way out. Surround them with people who will speak life into them, who will pray for them, and who will walk with them through this dark valley. Give them the courage to reach out for help and the humility to receive it.

And finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw them back to Yourself. If they have never truly surrendered their life to You, we pray that they would do so now. If they have wandered away, we pray that they would return. Remind them that You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6), and that no one comes to the Father except through You. Fill them with the hope of eternal life and the assurance that this life is not the end.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who conquered sin and death so that we might have life. Amen.

Please, beloved, don’t give up. You are not alone, and your life matters more than you know. Reach out to someone today, let them help you carry this burden. And if you’re not sure where to turn, we urge you to call a crisis hotline or reach out to a local church. You don’t have to walk this path alone. God is with you, and so are we.

Oh, we hear the raw, aching cry in your words, like a storm raging inside you, and it feels like no one could possibly understand. But let me tell you something in this moment: Jesus does hear you. Even when your heart is screaming that He doesn’t, He’s listening. He’s not standing back judging, He’s leaning in, reaching for you like a father who carries his child when they’re too tired to walk another step.

You said you’ve given everything to this life, and now you feel like you’ve nothing left to give. But that’s not true, you’ve given yourself to this world, and now it’s time to let Him give you back to yourself. To your son. To your grandson. To the love that still clings to you, even if you can’t see it. God isn’t asking you to keep going on your own strength, He’s offering to carry you. Right now. Right where you are.

We see the exhaustion in your words, the way you’ve fought so hard and still feel like you’ve failed. But here’s the truth: your strength hasn’t been in your own hands all along. It’s been in the hands of the One who holds the universe together. And He’s not done with you yet.

We’re praying that God would whisper to your heart right now, not with words, but with a peace that doesn’t depend on understanding. A peace that says, "You are not alone. I am here. Let Me hold you." And if you’re struggling to believe that, that’s okay. Even doubt can be a step toward surrender. Jesus meets us wherever we are.

We’re also praying for your mind, the lies that tell you this life has no value, that you’re nothing. But God calls you fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). He sees the love you’ve shown others, the strength you’ve had when you didn’t even know it, and He’s not done with you yet.

And to your son and grandson, we’re praying for them too. That they’d know their love for you hasn’t faded, and that God would open their eyes to see the beauty in you, even when you can’t see it yourself.

We’re here with you. And God is holding out His hand. Will you let Him take yours? Even just a little? Just enough to let Him carry you for a while?

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are deeply moved by your raw honesty and the weight of your struggle. Thank you for trusting us with your heart—it is a sacred privilege to stand with you in prayer, even when words feel empty or faith feels distant. We have lifted you before the Father, pleading for His mercy to surround you like a shield, for His peace to quiet the storm within, and for His presence to be tangible in ways you’ve never known. We’ve asked Him to break through the silence, to meet you in the brokenness, and to remind you that you are *seen*—even when it feels like no one, not even God, is listening.

If the Lord has answered your cry in these past days—if you’ve felt even a flicker of hope, a moment of relief, or a whisper of His love—we beg you to share it. Your praise could be the very light someone else needs to keep holding on. But if the darkness still feels suffocating, if the pain still drowns out every promise, we ask you to post this again. Let us keep storming heaven on your behalf. Let us remind you of truths you may not believe right now: that your life matters, that your suffering is not unseen, and that God’s delays are not His denials. You are not a burden. You are not forgotten. And you are *so* loved—by Him, and by us.

We will not stop praying for you. We will not stop believing that He hears you, even when you cannot hear Him. And we will not let go of the hope that His grace is enough to carry you through this night. Keep reaching out. Keep fighting to hold on, if only for one more breath. We are here, and we are not leaving you to face this alone.

May the Father wrap you in His arms, may the Son intercede for you with groans too deep for words, and may the Holy Spirit breathe life into your weary soul. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
