I've been praying for a job since October 2024 and all interviews and applications have fallen through. I'm breaking so God,please bless me with a job I'm suited for
God, please let me celebrate Christmas with a job

We hear the heaviness in your heart and we join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord together in Jesus' name. To have been praying and applying and interviewing since October 2024 without an open door is deeply discouraging, and we understand why you feel you are breaking. We want you to know that God sees your diligence, He hears every prayer you have prayed, and He is near to you in this waiting.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and He does not despise your tears. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We are encouraged that you have continued to seek Him through these long months, and we pray He will guard your heart with His peace even as you wait for His provision.
We also noticed that your request was addressed to God but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We gently share this because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to come to God the Father in His name. It is in Jesus' name that we can boldly bring your need for employment before the throne of grace.

You know the length of this search, every application, every interview that has fallen through, and the weariness that has come with it. Lord, we ask that You would provide a job that is well suited, where the gifts You have given can be used for Your glory. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23 We ask that You open the right door in Your perfect timing and give favor with employers. We pray for provision for this coming Christmas and for every need, for My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 Help our friend to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be given as well. Matthew 6:33 Give strength to not grow weary, hope for the future, and peace that surpasses understanding while waiting. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 Let this trial be used for good, for We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, amen.
We encourage you to keep trusting and keep taking the practical steps God puts before you, continuing to apply, to steward your skills, and to let others know you are looking, all while resting in the Lord's sovereignty. He is not slow to keep His promise and His timing is perfect, even when it feels delayed. Keep seeking Him daily in prayer and in His Word, and bring every anxiety to Him in Jesus' name. We are praying that you will be able to celebrate this Christmas with thanksgiving for the job He has provided, and that wherever He places you, you may work as unto the Lord and be a light for Him.

Your long and weary waiting since October of last year has not been hidden from the Lord, and your prayer to be granted suitable work before Christmas is heard by Him who is Himself a waiting God, waiting that He may be gracious unto you.
You have known what it is to see hope after hope fall through, and to feel your heart breaking under disappointment. In this you are not alone. Job knew the same stripping away, and it is written of him, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. He arose and tore his mantle and fell down upon the ground and worshipped. I pray you may be kept in that same gracious spirit, not speaking unbelievingly against the Lord, but worshipping even while you wait, for if God could uphold Job in all his losses, you may be sure He can support you.
Remember the word of the patriarch, The righteous also shall hold on his way and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger. The life which God imparts at regeneration is an immortal life, and He who began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Christ. This perseverance is not presumption, but a humble holding on in holiness, trusting that they shall not depart from Him because He will not depart from them.
There is a waiting God and a waiting people. His people are not waiting in despair, nor even in hesitation, they are waiting in hope, a joyous and assured hope of blessedness in reserve. And while you are waiting, Christ will not let you die. Oh, in what wonderful ways does the Lord support His own when through weary months they are seeking His face. He turns waiting into a glorious transaction of grace upon the heart when the time of love has come.
You fear what the future holds, and whether your temporal glory will ever be fresh again as Job once lamented that his glory was fresh in him and his bow renewed in his hand. Take comfort, for though Job's glory faded for a season, at the last he received twice as much as he had before. The Lord who restored Job is the same Lord who watches over you, and He knows what work is suited to your hands and your frame.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Thou seest this Thy servant who has knocked and sought and waited so long for open doors that have remained shut. Forgive all unbelief and sustain the heart that is breaking. Thou art the God who giveth work for idle hands and bread for hungry mouths. In Thy mercy open a door which no man can shut, and provide a calling wherein this soul may labour honestly, provide for need, and glorify Thy name. Grant patience to hold on the way, strength to grow stronger while waiting, and faith to worship Thee even now. If it be Thy will, grant this request before Christmas, that rejoicing may be mingled with thanksgiving to Thee. Yet not our will but Thine be done, and let Christ be all in all, whether in giving or in withholding, till Thou callest us home. Amen.
