🙌 Heavenly Father, thank You The Kingdom is "righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit," Rom 14:17. I ask You, "The God of Hope, will fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that we will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit," Rom 15:13. We thank You that faith, hope and love remain, and the greatest of these is love, 1 Cor 13:13, so we ask for all three, and especially HOPE... Thank You that in Jesus, HOPE does remain, of an eternal Kingdom, and Your full presence, where perfection exists, and a Glorious Throne, exalted from the beginning, is the place of our sanctuary, Jeremiah 17:12. For here we have no lasting city, but are seeking one to come, Heb 13:14. "O City of God, Glorious things are spoken of you," Ps 87:3, where, "those who sing as well as those who play the flutes say, 'All my springs of joy are in you,'" Ps 87:7.

Thank You for extra grace to see that dwelling that cannot be torn down, eternal in the heavens, not made with hands, 2 Cor 5:1, for we are seeking a City to come, whose architect and builder is God, Heb 11:10. "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself," Philippians 3:20-21, as it is also written, "Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as Christ is pure," 1 John 3:2-3. "Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him the glory. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready," Revelation 19:7. Now may the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God The Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all, 2 Cor 13:14, even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus, Rev 22:20, Thank You in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in lifting our hearts to the Lord, celebrating the hope we have in Christ and the eternal city He has prepared for us. Your prayer beautifully reflects the longing of every believer’s heart for the glorious future that awaits us in God’s presence. The Scriptures you’ve shared remind us that this world is not our home, and our true citizenship is in heaven, where righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit reign.

We are encouraged by your focus on hope, faith, and love, three virtues that remain eternally. Hope, in particular, anchors our souls in the promises of God, especially as we await the return of our Savior, Jesus Christ. He is the one who will transform our lowly bodies to be like His glorious body, and we will finally see Him as He is. This hope purifies us, just as 1 John 3:3 declares, and compels us to live in a manner worthy of our calling.

As we eagerly await that day, let us also remember that our lives here on earth are to reflect the glory of God. The joy and peace we experience now in believing are a foretaste of the fullness we will know in His presence. We are called to abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit, as Romans 15:13 assures us. This hope is not passive; it is active and alive, shaping how we live, love, and serve one another.

Let us also take to heart the imagery of the Bride of Christ, the Church, preparing herself for the marriage of the Lamb. This calls us to holiness, purity, and unity as we await His return. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit sustain us in this journey. Maranatha, come, Lord Jesus!

We pray together with you now:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the hope we have in Jesus Christ, our living hope that does not disappoint. You have promised us an eternal city, a place where righteousness dwells and where we will experience the fullness of Your presence. Lord, fill us afresh with all joy and peace in believing, so that we may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Strengthen our faith as we await the return of Your Son, and help us to live lives that reflect the purity and holiness of the hope we profess.

Father, we long for the day when we will see You face to face, when every tear will be wiped away, and when we will dwell with You forever. Until that day, help us to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. May we be found faithful, ready, and eagerly anticipating the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We ask that You would unite us as Your people, that we may encourage one another and build each other up in love. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all as we await the fulfillment of Your promises. Come quickly, Lord Jesus. In Your precious and holy name, we pray. Amen.

Your prayer draws us into that ancient and grounded longing for the city whose architect and builder is God. Thank you for letting us overhear and join you in it. What you’re tasting, the joy, the peace in believing, the hope that already anchors the soul, is a real foretaste, not a fantasy. That hope is meant to do more than comfort us in quiet moments; it genuinely reshapes how we walk through ordinary Tuesdays, through weariness, through the unfinished parts of our own stories.

When ###, our ###, faced ###, he genuinely wasn’t anxious, because he was so settled in the truth you’ve been praying through. That kind of confidence quietly startles people. We’ve found that worship in the middle of ordinary life, singing, serving, giving thanks out loud, takes that hope and turns it into a two-beat rhythm: we come to God, and God comes to us. It keeps the longing fresh without letting us drift into passivity. So one practical way to keep this hope alive is to let it move from deep meditation into small acts of praise and love today, especially in a relationship or task that tends to drain you. Let the hope of the coming city make you patient and generous right now, where you are.

Father, thank You for this glimpse of the joy set before us, a city of springs, a throne of grace, a place where all that is broken is made whole. When the gap between that promise and this present ache feels wide, steady our hearts. Let hope rise not as a fragile wish but as the unshakable gift You’ve already given us in Jesus. Keep us abounding in hope by the power of Your Spirit until the day hope turns to sight. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

How your soul yearns after the heavenly city, and well it may, for we seek a country whose builder and maker is God. But I would have you remember that the joy you anticipate must not swallow up the simple faith which is its only foundation. The disciples saw the risen Lord and yet they believed not for joy; the very ecstasy seemed too great for their hearts to hold. Take heed that your own bright longings do not cause you to stagger at the promise through unbelief.

The hope laid up for you in heaven is sure, but it comes to you by hearing and believing, not by working or deserving, and certainly not by the strength of your own raptures. Joy and peace are the flowers, but faith is the root. Seek then to be filled with all joy and peace in believing, but see that the believing comes first. Trust Christ simply, even when emotions flag, and the joy will follow as fruit from the Spirit.

You ask for hope, and indeed hope remains, but it is a good hope through grace that is born of faith and watered by love. Do not say in your heart that the promise is too glorious; rather, look to the cross and the empty tomb, and know that He who gave His Son for you will with Him freely give you all things. Though your faith be but as a grain of mustard seed, if it is fixed in Christ, you have right to joy. But pray ever, "Lord, increase our faith," that you may not be tossed about by feelings.

For faith is to the Christian all his spiritual senses: it sees the invisible, grasps the promise, and cheers the heart with the foretaste of glory. Even now the Lamb shall feed you and lead you to living fountains of waters, and heaven may come down to you while yet you journey through this vale of tears. There is great joy in the city where the gospel is preached, and your own heart shall be that city if you hold fast your confidence firm to the end. The marriage supper will surely come; until then, purify yourself by this very hope, and let the remainder of joy yet to be revealed sustain you in every trial.

So, though at times you may feel no hope, yet in Christ there is always hope; and though He slay you, trust in Him. Your citizenship is in heaven, and from there you eagerly wait for the Savior. Look for His appearing, and in looking, find strength for today. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The peace given to the disciples after the Resurrection was no small gift, but the very weapon to counterbalance a world of war. So too this joy announced to the women was the remedy for the ancient sorrow. Do not think then that the joy and peace for which you ask are simply feelings to be experienced. They are victories. Since all hindrances were removed and the triumph of the Cross was made glorious, Christ spoke peace, and that peace is ours. Yet we must not repel the One who pronounces it. This peace, which we offer in church as a type, must first be received in the heart with all eagerness. To quarrel with a brother, to be vexatious, to make schism, this causes the grace of God to be evil spoken of and subverts peace more grievously than any thief of money.

But what are the things that truly bring us into the Kingdom? Not the disputes about outward works, for the Kingdom is not meat and drink. It is righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Here is the City you seek. For when the sacrifice lies slain and the Spirit is with us, when we are made sons by the Washing and become fellow-citizens of Heaven, how can these be other than heavenly things? Does not our altar, which holds nothing carnal, have a spiritual reality? Do not our hymns join the divine choirs above? This is the very City whose architect is God, a dwelling not made with hands, already present where the keys of heaven are wielded and sins are remitted.

See how the reality of this hope is proven by deeds. To possess a faith that endures the loss of earthly goods with joy, to rejoice when counted worthy to suffer shame for the Name, that is a sign of a true citizen, an apostolic soul. This joy no man takes from you. Yet it requires that you continue grounded, steadfast, and not moved away, holding to the faith and the hope that the things to come are true. This is not a burdensome yoke. It is simply believing that the King of Righteousness, who is also the King of Salem, the King of Peace, has made us righteous and reconciled all things to Himself. The hope of that full presence, that perfection before the Glorious Throne, purifies you even now, for everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as Christ is pure. Hold fast to this threefold cord of faith, hope, and love, which remains forever, and you will find that the joy of the Kingdom is already begun.

What a rich, hope-filled prayer you have poured out before the Lord. The yearning you express for the City of God is a mark of the Spirit’s work within you, a taste of the very eternity He has placed in our hearts. When we look squarely at this world, it’s clear we have no lasting city here. The days of humanity, as Job knew, are like a hireling’s, brief and often full of trouble. Yet unlike Job, who could only form his hope as a question mark from the ash heap, we have been given an anchor for the soul, sure and steadfast, because Jesus Christ has risen from the grave.

Your prayer lands squarely on the truth that you are carrying a glorious treasure in a fragile earthen vessel. This body, this earthly tent, will one day be folded up, but not into nothingness. If this tent is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. That is the substance of what you are seeking: a city whose architect and builder is God, where all our springs of joy are in Him. In the meantime, the very afflictions and groans of this life are working for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison. The hope you are asking for is not an escape from reality; it is the only way to face reality with genuine peace.

The God of hope fills you with all joy and peace in believing, not because every earthly circumstance is mended, but because your eyes are fixed on the One who will transform this body of humiliation into the likeness of His glorious body. That hope does not leave us passive. Everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. The cry for grace to see the dwelling that cannot be torn down is the Spirit teaching you to live with an eternal consciousness, storing up treasure where no destroyer can reach.

Rest in this: the Lord of all the earth will do right. He is wise in heart and mighty in strength, and though we could not answer Him one question in a thousand, we know His heart toward us in Christ. Your prayer itself proves the truth of the psalmist: “All my springs of joy are in you.” So keep holding to your way in righteousness, for he who has clean hands will grow stronger and stronger. May you continue to abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit until that day when faith becomes sight, and you stand in the City whose light is the Lamb.
