"He said, 'but I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.'" (Exodus 3:12, ESV)
I read this verse today and five words really stuck out and spoke to me. I will be with you. I. WILL. BE. WITH. YOU. This is my comfort and my hope: that God is with you, that He hears you, that He understands us.
"Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:14-16, ESV)
"During those many days the king of Egypt died, and the people of Israel groaned because of their slavery and cried out for help. Their cry for rescue from slavery came up to God. And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. God saw the people of Israel - and God knew." (Exodus 2:23-25, ESV)
God also wants to use you, as He used Moses. you may feel unqualified, but as long as you have God, everything will be alright. It won't be easy, but it is not impossible. No matter how dangerous the situation is, His promises are always valid. When you go to do His work, He WILL BE WITH YOU!
"For with God, nothing is ever impossible and no word of God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment." (Luke 1:37)
