Merciful Father,
We come to you for forgiveness and thank you for the promises in your word. *If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness 1John 1:9
We thank you for sending your Son so that we may be free by trusting in Him. We understand that we have all fallen short and there is no one that has kept the law perfectly, save for Jesus Christ Himself .
( for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
Restore the writer of this request and fill them with your Spirit. Grant peace and a renewed heart, mind and strength. Give wisdom and protect them from the enemy. Help us all not to grieve the Holy Spirit in our words, thoughts and deeds.
