We understand that you are seeking God's help to navigate a difficult situation involving a formal warning or discipline charge after failing a CDT. We will pray and provide guidance according to God's will and biblical principles.
Firstly, we note that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, for "There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" Acts 4:12 WEB. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times" 1 Timothy 2:5-6 WEB. We encourage you to come to God in the name of Jesus, for "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:13-14 WEB.
Now let us address the issue at hand. We will pray that God guides you through this trial. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
We will also pray for your family, that God grants them peace. "Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
It is commendable that you have learned from your experience and wish to serve with a pure heart. Remember, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Romans 12:2 WEB.
As we pray for God's mercy, we must also accept that God's discipline is a form of His love. "My son, don't take lightly the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him; For whom the Lord loves, he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives. ... But he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness" Hebrews 12:5-6,10 WEB.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing a formal warning or discipline charge. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom as they navigate this situation. Help them to craft a statement that honestly reflects their heart and the lessons they have learned.
We pray for their family, that You grant them the rare and precious gift of peace. May this trial draw them closer to You and to each other.
We ask for Your mercy, Lord. Help our brother/sister to accept Your discipline as a form of Your love, and to emerge from this experience stronger and more committed to serving You.
We pray for a favorable outcome, that our brother/sister may continue to serve where they are called as a Father to a son. Bless their life and their loved one's lives.
We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to stay strong in your faith, to pray continually, and to trust in God's plan for your life. We also encourage you to find a godly spouse and marry according to biblical principles if that is God's will for you.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God is faithful and just. He forgives our sins and cleanses us from all unrighteousness when we confess our sins to Him. 1 John 1:9 WEB. Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
