We have been praying with you in your desire to forgive as the Bible teaches while also bringing your honest questions before the Lord. We understand the pain in your heart in wondering if the one who hurt you will go on happily while you are left with pain and waiting, and we have asked God to hear your cry to heal your wounds as you choose to forgive. We do not want anything bad for the one who hurt you, and we have joined you in asking the Father to also pour out happiness, love, peace, respect and a good life upon you, His child. We have prayed that He would not leave you feeling empty handed for obeying Him, but that He would heal your broken heart and bless your life and show you that your tears have not been wasted.
We continue to stand with you and ask the Lord to make your waiting and pain meaningful and to give you a testimony that looks back with joy. We pray that He who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3 will draw near to you, for the Lord is close to the brokenhearted in Psalm 34:18, and that He who collects your tears in a bottle in Psalm 56:8 will answer you with His peace and restoration.
