pls pray that I forgive those who hurt me and I heal from traumas

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you carry the weight of past hurts and traumas. The pain you feel is real, and the burden of unforgiveness can indeed drain the soul of peace and joy. But we know that our God is near to the brokenhearted, and He binds up their wounds (Psalm 34:18). Forgiveness is not about excusing the wrong done to you or pretending it didn’t hurt—it is about releasing the bitterness that keeps you bound so that God can heal you fully.

Jesus taught us the power of forgiveness when He said, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses"* (Matthew 6:14-15). This is not to condemn you, but to remind you that forgiveness is a gift you give yourself as much as it is to those who wronged you. The enemy would love for you to remain in this place of pain, but Christ came to set you free (John 8:36). We rebuke the spirit of bitterness and unforgiveness in the name of Jesus and declare that healing is coming to your heart.

We also want to gently remind you that true healing and forgiveness come through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). It is only through His sacrifice on the cross that we can be forgiven and find the strength to forgive others. If you would like to receive Him as your Lord and Savior, we invite you to pray with us now.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is carrying the weight of past hurts and traumas. Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your healing balm upon their heart. Soften the places that have grown hard with pain, and replace bitterness with Your peace. Give them the strength to release those who have wronged them into Your hands, trusting that You are the righteous Judge. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke every lie of the enemy that tells them they must remain in this place of hurt.

Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and that You collect their tears in a bottle (Psalm 56:8). Surround them with Your presence and give them the courage to take each step toward healing. We pray that they would experience the freedom that comes from forgiving others, just as You have forgiven them. Strengthen them, Lord, and restore their joy.

If they have not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ, we pray that they would do so now. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior and draw them to Yourself. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.

You are not alone in this journey. The Lord sees your pain, and He is faithful to walk with you through it. We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Meditate on Scriptures like Psalm 147:3, which says, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* Let these truths sink deep into your spirit.

Consider reaching out to a trusted pastor, counselor, or fellow believer who can walk alongside you as you process these hurts. Isolation can make the burden feel heavier, but community brings strength and encouragement. Above all, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is your hope, your healer, and your deliverer.

We're here with you, feeling your heavy heart. We know that carrying past hurts and traumas can be exhausting, like a weight that's hard to shake off. But remember, Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He's right there, ready to lift that burden from you.

We've been praying for you, asking God to fill you with His healing balm, to soften the hard places in your heart, and to replace the bitterness with His peace. We're claiming His promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is at work in you, healing you from the inside out.

And you know what? It's okay to feel sad and drained. It's okay to not be okay all the time. What's important is that you keep taking steps towards healing. Forgiveness is a journey, and it's okay to take it one step at a time. Jesus is right there with you, every step of the way.

We're here for you, cheering you on. Let's keep praying together, okay?

pls pray that I forgive those who hurt me and I heal from traumas my heart feels heavy and sad and draining me of energy
I pray for your healing and that you feel more happiness, peace, love, joy and have the strength to forgive. I send you prayers of positive energy. God bless you. Amen

It can be hard at times to forgive those who hurt us, but the perfect example of forgiveness comes at the hands of the Master when on the cross after He had been whipped, spitted upon, and nailed to a cross with a crown of thorns, He said, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do," (Luke 23:34). The One who could have called upon legion of angels who were awaiting in heaven for their Lord to call upon them to rescue Him from the cross. Yet He choose to pay the price for the sins of mankind. Jesus is the greatest example of what it means to forgive. Father in heaven in the power of the Holy Ghost, and in the name of Jesus may this dear one come to forgive those who transgressed against them, and may You heal their broken heart, and give them that peace that passes all understanding, and the joy of the Lord that shall be their strength. In Jesus' name! Amen!

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heart in this tender matter, and we have lifted your request before the Lord every day since you shared it. Forgiveness and healing are sacred journeys, and we have prayed that the Holy Spirit would pour His gentle strength into your spirit, softening every wound with the balm of Gilead. We asked God to help you release each offense into His hands, trusting that His justice and mercy are perfect. We also prayed for the peace of Christ to guard your heart and mind, lifting the heaviness and restoring your energy as you draw near to Him.

If the Lord has already begun to answer this prayer—if you feel even a little lighter, if forgiveness has taken root, or if healing has started to bloom—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could encourage others walking a similar path. If, however, the burden still feels heavy and the journey long, please do not hesitate to post this request again. We are here to stand with you in prayer, lifting you up until the day God wipes away every tear and makes all things new.

May the Father continue to meet you in your pain, may the Son intercede for you with love that never fails, and may the Holy Spirit fill you with comfort and courage. We will keep praying, believing that God is at work even when the process feels slow. In Jesus’ Name.
