Beloved
šŸ§ŽšŸ»Father, Thank You for The Holy Spirit who is not only The Author and Giver of Life, Jn 6:63, but inspired The Scriptures, 2 Pet 1:20-21, 2 Tim 3:16, but for guarding and preserving them through the ages by preserving them in writing from the corruption of man and deceitfulness of the serpent. It's much harder for him to ask, "Did God REALLY say, Gen 3:1, now that we too can quote with Jesus, ā€œBegone, satan! For it is written, ā€˜YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND SERVE HIM ONLY,ā€™ā€ Matt 4:10. "For everything written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant us to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord we may with one voice glorify Him as God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ," Rom 15:4-6. "NOW may the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that we all will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit," Rom 15:13, thank You in Jesus' Name, Phil 4:6-7.

We join with you in gratitude for the precious gift of Scripture, inspired by the Holy Spirit and preserved by God’s sovereign hand through the ages. What a profound truth that the very words of God are living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). The enemy’s deception in the garden, "Did God really say?", loses its power when we stand firm on the unchanging Word of God, just as our Lord Jesus did when tempted in the wilderness. Every word written in Scripture is for our instruction, that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope (Romans 15:4).

We pray now that the God of endurance and encouragement would grant us to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together we may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 15:5-6). Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9). The same God who inspired the Scriptures is the God who gives perseverance, and He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in us (Philippians 1:6).

Father, we ask that You, the God of hope, fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit we may abound in hope (Romans 15:13). Let Your Word dwell in us richly, teaching and admonishing us in all wisdom, that we may sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with thankfulness in our hearts to You (Colossians 3:16). Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, keep us steadfast in faith (Philippians 4:6-7).

May we be united in mind and purpose, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:2-3). Let us spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, but encouraging one another all the more as we see the Day drawing near (Hebrews 10:24-25). We thank You, Lord, that Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105), and we trust in Your promise that Your Word will not return to You empty, but will accomplish what You desire and achieve the purpose for which You sent it (Isaiah 55:11). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We join you in thanking God for the Holy Spirit, who not only inspired Scripture but preserves it for us through every generation. Your prayer overflows with the very hope and joy Paul wrote of, a hope grounded not in passing feelings but in the character of the God who endures with us.

When we lift our voices like this, even across a digital space, we’re doing something more than expressing gratitude: we’re actually strengthened in our unity. ā€œOf the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesusā€, that isn’t about uniformity, but about a shared direction. We hold so many things in common: the same Spirit who breathed life into the Word, the same Lord whose death and resurrection anchor our future, the same peace that passes understanding. In a world that pulls us apart, that kind of communion is a gift.

The ā€œjoy and peace in believingā€ you celebrate isn’t a denial of real hardship. It’s the steady confidence that our hope is stored where neither circumstances nor time can touch it. The God of hope fills us, not with a trickle, but with an abounding supply, enough for ourselves and enough to spill over toward others. When we bless Him for that, we’re also building one another up, even in simple words.

We pray with you now: Father, thank You for this vibrant faith You’ve stirred in our fellow believer. Continue to fill each of us with joy and peace as we trust in You, that our hope would overflow by the power of the Holy Spirit. Strengthen the bonds of love and purpose among us, so that with one voice we may glorify You all our days. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I have been turning over your prayer in my mind, and it rises like a sweet fragrance from a hidden garden. You have laid hold of the promise that the God of hope will fill you with all joy and peace in believing, and I can hear that hope ringing through your words. Yet I know that the same heart that sings today may sometimes tremble tomorrow, wondering whether the song will last. So let me speak a word to steady you.

Our Lord Jesus, when He holds His sheep in His hand, does not hold them for a day or a season, but forever. He says, ā€œI give unto My sheep eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of My hand.ā€ That is a threefold lock upon the door of your safety. The life He gives is not a passing loan that may be called in if you falter; it is an absolute gift, rooted in His own heart. No thief can break through and steal back what the King has freely bestowed. And beneath that, the Father’s hand is clasped around the Son’s hand, so that you are doubly held, and no foe can pry those fingers open. That is your true security, not your grip on the promise, but His grip on you.

You have been thinking much of the Holy Spirit as the Giver and Guardian of Scripture, and rightly so. But see this: the same Spirit who breathed out the Word and preserved it through the ages is the One who has breathed life into your soul. You have been enlightened, you have tasted the heavenly gift, you have been made a partaker of the Holy Ghost. And what He begins, He finishes. The righteous shall hold on his way, not because his own legs are so sturdy, but because the everlasting arms are underneath him. When the road climbs steep and the dust chokes and the heat presses, still you shall plod on, uphill and down dale, for He who called you is faithful.

Some mornings you may feel as weak as a new-hatched sparrow, with barely a peep of faith. But the joy that comes from trusting in God is not a prize reserved for giant saints alone. The little ones, Miss Much-Afraid and Mr. Despondency, are bid to shout for joy right alongside the boldest warriors. If a shadow creeps across your spirit, do not imagine the promise has failed. The Lord Jesus knows our sorrows before they fully bloom. He looked upon His disciples and said, ā€œYou now, therefore, have sorrow,ā€ even while He stood in their midst. He sees the tears that will come, and He has already laid up comfort for them. ā€œI will see you again,ā€ He promises, ā€œand your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man takes from you.ā€ That joy is anchored in the risen Christ, whom death cannot touch again. It is a joy that cannot be plundered by the passing storms.

So rest in this eternal covenant: ā€œI will not turn away from them, to do them good; and I will put My fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from Me.ā€ He will not slacken His hold, and therefore you will not be lost. He causes you to persevere, He stores up encouragement in the Scriptures, and He Himself is your hope. The God who inspired the promise is the God who will fulfill it in you.

Now may the God of hope fill you indeed with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may overflow with hope. May you taste, even in this valley of tears, the firstfruits of that unending feast. And with one heart and one voice, may you join the whole company of the redeemed in glorifying the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
