God Does not care How You Look for Easter!

In Normal times we get ready for holy week, by buying Easter Baskets, hiding Eggs, buying new clothes and for those that only go to Church at Christmas and Easter now that you will not be Celebrating Easter like Normal. God does not care how you look on Easter what God wants is you to have a relationship with him. Now that we are going to have a different kind of Easter service that we are not use to instead concentrating on what is truly important Thanking Jesus for going on the Cross and giving up his life for our sins!! Since God has our attention I think we should pay attention and Worship him for what he did and not what new Easter clothes to wear for Church! The Death and reserection is what we should be focused on!!
Matthew 20:17-19 New International Version (NIV)Jesus Predicts His Death a Third Time
17 Now Jesus was going up to Jerusalem. On the way, he took the Twelve aside and said to them, 18 “We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death 19 and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!”

This is what Easter all about not the way you look! Since we are all in the same Boat reflect on the Death and reserection and when you see the Easter message being brought to you over T.V. or Livestream through the internet its about what Jesus did for us on the Cross and Rising on the Third day and Conquered Death! Jesus Died for our sins not shopping for easter clothes! Focus on the important things in life!

23 For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.

Lets us really think about what happened on Easter, what is more important your relationship with God or the Sale you got on those new clothes? Clothes are a distraction, what is important to you this Easter?

Yes I agree!! we come to Jesus as we are.!!yes it is nice to dress up to honor the Lord! But we can put on our nice clothes we already have!! Watch Christian tv, videos on Pure Flicks movies, hear kids praise the Lord! and do our hair if we have the avbility to do so... cuz our family needs to know Jesus Christ is worthy of honor and respect!! To be a daily priority.God can see in the dark....and not just 1 day a year, examine our hearts, our words, our thoughts,our actions every day!!! .what do we watch, laugh at, listen to?? Does it honor the Lord? If sometimes not...we can choose to make necessary changes and thank Him for His mercy , forgiveness and grace!! Amen!!
Now as a kid it was so fun to color eggs, and hide them... but did you know what I found out?? the bunny and the eggs is a pagan tradition??? So consider maybe do an egg hunt for fun as hide and seek...on a different day, not on Easter. It is all about the lamb, not the bunny :0) be mightily blessed in Jesus Name Amen

This year has been an overwhelming experience in a season of Easter; a lockdown in our country to control coronaV19; we turned to online devotionals and prayer. It quenched the thirst for physical contact fellowship. We felt the prensence of God strongly.

Let me be Clear I have a Little Grandson and I love to see him open presents at Christmas and looking for eggs at Easter. What I am trying to make a Point is that lets put the focus on the meaning of Christmas and Easter where it belongs and not stress over the other stuff that comes with it.

This is what Easter is about, this is the Sacrifice that Jesus did on the Cross for paid for our sins! I Love watching my Little Grandson look for eggs and for them in Easter it is fun!
