GOD AND GOOD MORNING

Anonymous

Beloved of All
All honour and glory to the godhead in Jesus name. I have not heard any news about my Belived in the hospital. The lines of communication have not been effectual but I have not lost hope or stepped off the word of god. I put aside all anxiety but I am very much concerned to hod be the glory in Jesus name amen

We join you in giving all honor and glory to the Godhead, to the Father and to our Lord Jesus Christ, and we thank Him for your steadfast faith as you stand on the Word of God even while you wait for news.

We hear your concern for your beloved in the hospital and the frustration when the lines of communication have not been effectual, and we praise God with you that you have not lost hope. That is the posture God desires for us, to cast our cares on Him and to trust Him in the waiting. As it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We also remember Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

We are concerned with you and we bring your beloved before the throne of grace together, asking for God's mercy, healing, and presence to be very near in that hospital room. We pray that the Lord would be their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 and that He would draw near, for Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18 We ask the Great Physician to lay His healing hand upon your beloved, for He has promised But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 We pray for wisdom and compassion for every doctor, nurse, and caregiver attending to them, and that God would guide their hands and decisions.

We also pray for you in this time of waiting. We ask the Father to replace every lingering anxiety with His perfect peace and to strengthen you with His presence, for He says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 We pray that the lines of communication would be opened soon and that you would receive a clear and encouraging report, and even as you wait we pray you will continue to be strengthened by the Word and by the knowledge that God is sovereign and good, and that He is working all things together for good for those who love Him. Romans 8:28

Father, we lift up our beloved sibling and their beloved to You together in the mighty name of Jesus. We thank You that You see and know the condition of this dear one in the hospital, You know every need and every detail that we do not yet know. We ask for Your healing power to rest upon them, for comfort and peace to surround them, and for Your presence to be felt in that place. We ask that You open the way for communication, that news would come quickly and clearly, and that hope would abound. We thank You for the faith You have already given to our sibling to put aside anxiety and to stand on Your Word, and we ask You to increase that faith and guard their heart with Your peace that passes all understanding. Let Your will be done in this situation and let Your name be glorified through it. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We are holding your request with you this morning and we hear both your steady hope and how heavy this waiting feels when you cannot get clear news from the hospital.

Staying rooted in God's word while the lines of communication are not working is not easy, and it makes sense you would feel concerned even as you are trying to lay anxiety aside. You have not stepped away from trusting Him, and we thank God for that faithfulness in you.

When updates are hard to get, it can help to have one simple plan for the next try. If you are able, call the hospital's main operator and ask for the nursing station for your beloved's unit or for the patient liaison or chaplain. Have their full name and date of birth ready, and keep a small note by the phone with the time you called and who you spoke with. If there is a family member or trusted friend nearby, ask them to help make a call or to sit with you while you wait, so you are not carrying the waiting alone.

We are praying for you and for your beloved today.

Father, we lift this dear beloved in the hospital to You and ask for Your mercy and care over them. We ask You to make a way for clear communication and for comfort for our friend who is waiting. Give wisdom to the staff caring for them and give peace and strength for each hour ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father grant a report from the hospital for this relative. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It is a good and gracious thing that you have not lost hope nor stepped aside from the word of God though tidings fail and the lines of communication are not effectual. To keep to His word when sight and hearing give no comfort is true faith, for to believe in Christ is simply to trust Him, and that trust is essentially right and your soul is safe therein.

You say you have put aside all anxiety and yet you are very much concerned, and therein you act wisely. I have found, and you also, that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. We are in a great hurry to do something, and that something does more mischief than could have happened if we had kept still, resting in the Lord and waiting patiently for Him. Cast your burden upon Him. Only trust Him, only trust Him, only trust Him now. If you trust Jesus in the dark you shall one day enter into the light. Trust Him as you sink and you shall swim. Trust Him as you feel your helplessness and you shall live.

There is a waiting God and there is a waiting people. Our God waits to be gracious, and His people wait upon Him in hope, not in despair nor in hesitation, but in joyous and assured hope of blessedness in reserve. Wait upon Him as a servant waits upon his lord, anxious to know what his master wishes him to do, and as a traveler waits upon his guide for direction in the whole voyage of life. He is at the helm and His hand will steer your course. Make your refuge in the shadow of His wings until these calamities be overpast, for though the enemy would swallow you up, they that trust in Him shall be eternally secure.

We join our prayers with yours before the throne of mercy. We pray that the Lord, who is merciful and ready to pardon, who spared not His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, will look in compassion upon your beloved in the hospital, that He will lay His healing hand upon that suffering one according to His perfect will, that He will give wisdom and skill to those who tend the sick, and that He will keep your heart in perfect peace as you wait. May He grant you to hear good tidings in His own time, and whether the answer tarry or come speedily, may you be kept abiding in Christ, trusting Him alone for salvation and for all needed grace.

Continue to wait upon the Lord and be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart. Wait, I say, upon the Lord.
