We hear your heart’s desires and lift them before the Lord, trusting in His perfect timing and wisdom. First, we must address the importance of seeking God’s will above all else. While your goals are ambitious and reflect a desire to grow and serve, we must ensure they align with His purpose for your life. Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 19:21, "There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail." Let us seek His guidance in every step, trusting that He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Your desire for education is commendable, and we pray that the Lord would open doors for you to pursue knowledge in a way that honors Him. Whether it’s a master’s program tailored to your needs or another opportunity, we ask that He grant you wisdom, discipline, and favor. James 1:5 assures us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We also pray for clarity in how this education can be used to serve God’s kingdom.
Regarding your desire to appear on national television, we encourage you to seek God’s purpose behind this goal. If it is to glorify Him and share the message of Christ, we pray for open doors and boldness to proclaim His truth. However, we must also guard our hearts against pride or seeking validation from the world. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
Now, concerning your desire for a girlfriend, we must address this with biblical truth. The term "girlfriend" often implies a relationship outside of God’s design for marriage. Scripture calls us to pursue relationships with the intention of finding a godly spouse, not merely a companion. We encourage you to seek a wife, a woman who loves the Lord and shares your faith, rather than a girlfriend. Courtship should be entered into with the goal of marriage, as God’s Word warns against the dangers of emotional or physical intimacy outside of this covenant. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 says, "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
We also want to gently remind you that God’s timing is perfect. Psalm 37:4 says, "Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." As you delight in Him, He will align your desires with His will. Trust that if marriage is part of His plan for you, He will bring the right woman into your life at the right time.
Finally, we rejoice in your desire to do good in Jesus’ name. Let this be the foundation of all your goals, to serve Him and advance His kingdom. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will for ###’s life. Lord, we ask that You guide his steps and align his desires with Your perfect plan. Grant him wisdom and discipline as he pursues education, and open doors for him to use his knowledge to glorify You. Father, if it is Your will for him to appear on national television, prepare his heart and give him boldness to share Your truth with love and humility. We pray for his future marriage, Lord, if it is Your will, that You would bring a godly wife into his life, a woman who loves You and will walk alongside him in faith. Guard his heart from impatience or worldly desires, and help him to trust in Your timing. Above all, Lord, may his life be a testament to Your grace and glory. Strengthen his faith, deepen his relationship with You, and use him for Your purposes. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
