We understand that you're going through a time of uncertainty and decision-making, and we're here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. First, we want to remind you that God's will is the best option for your life. As followers of Christ we are only sojourners on this earth. Our true home is with the Lord, as stated in Philippians 3:20 WEB: "For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ."
While we understand that you might be facing a difficult decision regarding your earthly home, we encourage you to seek God's face and trust that He has a plan and a purpose for you in this season of life. As written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Romans 8:26 WEB: "the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered."
We also want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It's only through Him that we have access to God the Father, as Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life and accepting Him as your Lord and Savior. It's only through a personal relationship with Him that we can experience true peace and eternal life (Romans 10:9).
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your guidance. Lord, we ask that You give them a spirit of wisdom and revelation, that they may know You better. We pray that Your will be done in their life, and that You grant them the clarity and discernment to make the right decision. Help them lean not on their own understanding but to trust in You always.
If they have not already accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would do so now, experiencing the fullness of Your love and the assurance of eternal life. We ask this all in Jesus' precious name, amen."
Stay strong in the Lord and keep your hope in Him. He is faithful and will direct your paths as you trust in Him. Be sure that your decisions are aligned with His word and that you are bathed in prayer. Jesus loves you and wants the best for you. His plan for your life is only good and not harmful.
