Disciple of Prayer
Glory Be to God in the Highest; that is the first line of my prayer request because this is a testimony and I have to give praise. My account keeps getting logged off, and I then can't log in, but I have been submitting prayers in this forum. Mostly, prayers for deliverance from satanic attacks that were causing setbacks, delays, ###, and a bunch of other issues. Last month, in June, I submitted a desperate prayer request because of Satanic dreams before tests; I was facing the possibility of being held back for a year. In July, I was registered and deregistered, and finally last Thursday I was permanently re-registered. It was an emotional rollercoaster all of June, for most of the month, I slept past midnight praying and the devil fought till the end. I will not be held back a year. God really pulled through for me, amen. The next prayer point has been for my family. My parents have been trying to build a house since 2005. Sites have been sold and bought. Plans have been drawn and re-drawn. Even with cars, that keep randomly breaking down or crashed into. My siblings and my academic journeys. Weird things that just kept happening. It is not about material possessions. It is about growth and the presence of God showing in one's life. Certain things you just see are the operations of hell to mock God and to embarrass your faith. You pray for peace and continued grace; some quarrelsome issue shows up out of nowhere. You pray for the presence of the Holy Spirit and to be closer to God, the entire house has nightmares. I remember while submitting a request here last month saying, "My life shall not be a testimony for Satan." I would like to thank everyone who prayed with me and declare again, My life shall not be a testimony for Satan. Last Thursday, after that module was re-registered, the devil sent a satanic attack in the form of a dream. I pray to nullify any Satanic attacks and cover myself and my family with the blood of Jesus. The new semester has begun, and I pray for continued grace and favour. I pray against the spirits of procrastination, stagnation, delay, and failure. I pray that the Lord would give me the wisdom and courage to do what needs to be done and where I cannot to more than step up and fill the need. With wisdom, I really pray for the grace to spend my time diligently, receive, find and use the right resources efficiently, and to stop feeling stuck, whiling away hours. I give thanks to God. I also pray for continued grace and deliverance that, wherever I am stuck and my family is stuck spiritually or otherwise, we be released permanently, amen.

Glory be to God in the highest indeed! What a powerful testimony of God’s faithfulness and deliverance in the face of relentless spiritual warfare. We rejoice with you in the victory He has already secured over the schemes of the enemy, and we stand with you in declaring that your life, and your family’s, shall not be a testimony for Satan. The blood of Jesus has broken every chain, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Your testimony reminds us that the enemy does not fight fair, but our God fights for us. The delays, setbacks, and even the demonic dreams were not random, they were targeted attacks meant to steal your peace, your progress, and your faith. But God turned the tables! Where the enemy sought to hold you back, the Lord has re-registered you, restored you, and set you on a path of advancement. We declare with you: No more stagnation. No more delays. No more satanic mockery. The Lord has given you a new season, and we pray that every assignment of darkness against your academics, your family’s home, and your spiritual growth is dismantled in Jesus’ name.

Let us address the spiritual warfare you’ve endured with the authority of Scripture. The enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The dreams, the breakdowns, the quarrels, and the nightmares are not from God; they are the works of the father of lies (John 8:44). But we serve a God who rebukes the devourer (Malachi 3:11) and who gives His children power to tread on serpents and scorpions (Luke 10:19). We take up that authority now:

We rebuke every spirit of procrastination, stagnation, delay, and failure in your life. We command them to loose their grip in the name of Jesus! The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of wisdom and revelation (Ephesians 1:17), and He will guide you into all truth and productivity. We declare that your time is redeemed, no more wasted hours, no more feeling stuck. The Lord will order your steps and give you the discipline to use your time wisely (Psalm 37:23).

We cover you and your family with the blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). That blood is your protection, your covering, and your victory. We nullify every satanic attack, past, present, and future, against your mind, your academics, your family’s home, and your spiritual growth. The enemy has no legal right to harass you, for you are a child of the Most High God, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness in the life of Your servant. We thank You for delivering them from the snares of the enemy and for turning what was meant for evil into a testimony of Your goodness. Lord, we ask that You would continue to break every chain of stagnation, delay, and spiritual oppression over their life and their family. We declare that the plans of the enemy are frustrated, and Your purposes for them are established.

Father, we pray for wisdom and diligence in their studies. Give them the grace to manage their time well, to seek You first in all things, and to walk in the favor You have already ordained for them. We rebuke the spirit of procrastination and declare that productivity and excellence are their portion. Let every resource they need, whether spiritual, academic, or financial, be released to them in Jesus’ name.

For their family, Lord, we ask that You would bring a swift and permanent end to every cycle of setback. Let the foundation of their home be laid on the solid rock of Your Word, and let every satanic assignment against their progress be dismantled. We declare that the house they are building is a house of peace, a house of blessing, and a house where Your presence dwells. Let every nightmare, every quarrel, and every attack of the enemy be silenced by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

We cover them in the blood of Jesus, which is their protection, their victory, and their authority. Let every satanic dream be nullified, and let their sleep be sweet and undisturbed. We declare that their lives are hidden in Christ, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Let their testimony be one of Your glory, Your power, and Your faithfulness.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit afresh. Let them walk in boldness, in wisdom, and in the confidence that comes from knowing You. May they be a light in their academic pursuits, a blessing to their family, and a testimony to all who know them. We thank You for what You have done, what You are doing, and what You will continue to do in their lives. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises and walking in the authority He has given you. The enemy may try to come back with another attack, but remember: You are not fighting for victory; you are fighting from victory. The battle has already been won at the cross. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

Your testimony is a reminder to all of us that God is still in the business of turning battles into breakthroughs. Keep declaring His Word over your life, keep praying without ceasing, and keep trusting in His perfect timing. The Lord has great things in store for you, and we are excited to see how He continues to move on your behalf!

We rejoice with you, thank you for sharing how God made a way when it all seemed stacked against you. The fact that you spent many nights praying and then saw your registration restored is a real encouragement. And we agree wholeheartedly: your life will not be a testimony for the enemy. Christ has already won.

When the resistance intensifies right after a breakthrough, it often signals that something precious is being guarded. The enemy doesn't bother with what he isn't afraid of losing. So the dream attack and the long pattern of delays in your family aren't proof you're failing, they're a sign that you and your household matter in the kingdom. That doesn't make the weariness any less real, but it can help us keep our footing when the fog rolls in.

For the daily battle against procrastination and that stuck feeling, a small, concrete step can help break the paralysis. Try setting a timer for just twenty-five minutes: pick one task, ask Jesus for courage to begin it, and work until the timer stops. Do nothing else in that window, no phone, no second-guessing. Often the hardest part is simply starting, and once we do, momentum builds. Where you truly can't, the Holy Spirit more than fills the gap.

As for the family, the pattern of quarrels and strange setbacks can feel like endless static. Maybe you could invite your parents and siblings into a short, simple rhythm, perhaps just two minutes together each evening, placing a specific situation under the blood of Jesus and then leaving it there. Consistency over intensity. Small, united stands rob the enemy of his favorite lie: that you are isolated and powerless.

Let's pray.

Jesus, thank You for proving Your faithfulness in our sister's education and for every soul reading who prayed with her. Cover her and her whole household with Your blood; silence every voice that speaks delay, stagnation, and chaos over them. Grant her the wisdom to use her hours well and the simple courage to start. Break the old patterns that have harassed this family, and release permanent freedom where they have been stuck. Let their lives display Your presence, calm and steady, no matter what is thrown at them. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father grant deliverance and peace of mind to this requestor. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Glory unto the King Eternal, who has done marvelous things and turned the shadow of death into the morning! You have tasted deliverance in the matter of your academic course, and well you cry out with praise. Let it be fixed in your memory that this was the Lord’s own hand, He who brought you forth with silver and gold, giving you the treasures of His faithfulness where the adversary sought to hold you in bondage. The enemy fought until the end, but the clock of mercy struck the hour and moment of your deliverance, for the time had come. Walk now not as one who escapes but as one enriched, testifying that He has delivered you from the power of darkness and translated you into the kingdom of His dear Son.

Yet I hear the deeper cry in your words, the long war against hell’s mockery in your family’s circumstances. When houses and vehicles become stages for chaos, it presses upon the spirit with a peculiar weight because the adversary seeks to make your very life a stage for his scorn. But take this arrow and shoot it with all the force of faith: deliverance is of the Lord, though He uses the bowman’s arm. The covenant promise is sure, He has heard the prayer of the destitute and will not despise their cry. He has looked down from the height of His sanctuary to hear the groaning of the prisoner and loose those appointed to death. That same God who unregistered and re-registered your place in the academy shall bring order into the confusion of your family lines. Do not measure His might by the years of delay; He often lets the water rise until Noah himself despairs, but when the appointed time comes, the ark rises upon the waves.

Your prayer against the spirits of procrastination and stagnation is wise, but remember that deliverance from the power of indolence and disorder is just as much the work of sovereign grace as deliverance from hell itself. You cannot whip yourself into holy diligence by the cords of self-reproach; look alone to your heavenly Father for sanctification as surely as you looked to Him for justification. The way of wisdom is a path that no fowl knows, and the vulture’s eye has not seen it; it is hidden from the wise and prudent of this world. Go to Him who became wisdom for us and lay your distracted, stuck, whiling heart at His feet. He can compress a lifetime of work into a day and make a handful of study equal to a library when He smiles upon the mind.

As for the dark dreams and the nightly terrors that fall upon your household, plunder them for praise. He brought you through the terror of Jabbok and, behold, your Esau has embraced you with a re-registered module. Learn to say with the Psalmist, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Not one twitch of Satan’s tail shall have the last word. Plead the blood of Jesus, that efficacious ransom which hell cannot deny, and spread it over every lintel of your mind and home. The Deliverer will arise for Zion and the covenant shall stand fast forever. You have declared rightly, “My life shall not be a testimony for Satan.” Go further and declare, “My life is a monument to the delivering grace of Christ.” Let this be your song in the family circle, in the quiet hour, and in the face of every contradiction. He who has begun this good work will perfect it; only be strong and of good courage, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
