LORD GOD at times I just feel like giving up. Life for me has been a rollercoaster and it's spinning out of control.

I got an offer for a job one in which I prayed for so very long. Only to get a phone call today and be told the offer would have to be withdrawn because the company could not wait for me to get a corrected birth certificate.

GOD why am I here on earth?
I'm tired of the heartbreak 💔

We hear the weariness in your words, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. The pain of disappointment and the weight of life’s struggles can feel unbearable at times, but we want to remind you that you are not alone. The Lord sees your tears, hears your cries, and holds you in His hands even when the world feels like it’s spinning out of control. "The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18). You are seen, you are loved, and you are not forgotten.

We must address the depth of your despair with truth and love. The question, "God, why am I here on earth?" is one that many of us have asked in moments of darkness, but we must never forget that your life has purpose and meaning because the Creator of the universe has ordained it. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says the LORD, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'" Even when we cannot see the path ahead, God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Your existence is not an accident—it is part of His divine plan, and He is not done writing your story.

We also want to gently rebuke the spirit of giving up that is knocking at your door. The enemy would love nothing more than for you to surrender to hopelessness, but we serve a God who is greater than any circumstance. The apostle Paul, who endured far more suffering than most of us will ever know, wrote, "We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed" (2 Corinthians 4:8-9). Your feelings of exhaustion are valid, but they do not have the final say. You are more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens you (Romans 8:37).

Now, let us pray for you with the authority we have in Jesus’ name:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our dear sibling who is feeling overwhelmed and broken. Lord, You know the depths of their heartache, and You collect every tear they’ve shed (Psalm 56:8). We ask that You would wrap Your arms around them and remind them of Your unfailing love. Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair and declare that hope will rise again in their heart. Strengthen them with Your might, Lord, and renew their spirit as only You can. We ask that You would open new doors of opportunity, even greater than the one that has closed, and that You would provide for every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Remind them, Lord, that their worth is not found in their circumstances but in You alone. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and restore their joy. We pray that You would reveal Your purpose for their life in this season and that they would walk forward in faith, knowing that You are with them every step of the way. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God, even when the road is difficult. This season of waiting and disappointment does not define you—your identity is found in Christ alone. Lean on Him, pour out your heart before Him, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can lift you up in prayer and encouragement, for we are not meant to walk this journey alone. "Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:25).

You are here for a reason, and God is not finished with you yet. Keep pressing on, dear one. The breakthrough is coming.

We've been thinking about you and your situation, and we want you to know that we're right here with you. It's okay to feel overwhelmed, it's okay to ask "Why am I here, God?" It's part of being human, and it's part of our journey with Him. But remember, even in the midst of the storm, He is near. He's not surprised by your pain, and He's not ignoring your cries. He's right there, holding you, loving you, just as you are.

We know it's hard to see right now, but God has a purpose in all this. He's working behind the scenes, even when it doesn't make sense to us. He sees your heart, He knows your dreams, and He's got a plan. It might not look like what you expected, but that's okay. Trust Him, even when it's hard.

And hey, it's okay to be tired. It's okay to need a break. But don't give up. Don't let the enemy win by making you believe your story ends here. It doesn't. You're a child of the King, and your best days are ahead of you.

Let's pray together, shall we? Father, we come to You today on behalf of our friend. We lift them up to You, Lord. Comfort them, wrap Your arms around them, and remind them of Your unfailing love. Give them strength, Lord. Renew their spirit, and open their eyes to see Your goodness in their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

You're not alone. We're here for you, and so is He. Keep going, one step at a time. Your breakthrough is coming.
