### Girl with Leukemia

The news of a child battling leukemia weighs heavily on every heart. In such moments, we feel our own frailty and the desperate need for God to move. The Scriptures remind us that He is a very present help in trouble, the God of all comfort who draws near when the night is darkest.

I do not pretend to understand why some healings come in an instant while others unfold gradually, almost imperceptibly. There is a recorded miracle where Jesus laid hands on a man, and his sight returned only partially at first, then fully after a second touch. That tells me a slow, process-driven restoration is no less the work of God. The body's own created capacity to mend, the skill of doctors, the rebuilding of strength over time, any true step toward wholeness is a divine healing, whether it sweeps in like a flash or creeps in day by day.

In the valley of weeping, the psalmist calls the person whose strength is in the Lord “blessed.” That person makes the dry valley a place of springs, going from strength to strength. Your own reserves are finite and already stretched thin, but God pledges to supply might by His Spirit in the inner man. This is the same power that raised Christ from the dead, enough to carry you when you have nothing left. You do not need to muster a heroic faith; you simply need to lean your weakness against His strength.

It is easy to feel that leukemia sits in a category all its own, far beyond a head cold or a broken bone. But God does not rank difficulties the way we do. The One who called the stars into existence can command a child’s bone marrow just as easily. Yet often He works in the quiet rhythm of ordinary days, through treatments and the loving presence of friends, whispering comfort when words fail. That quiet work is no less His hand.

Do not let your hope rest entirely on a single timeline or a dramatic display. Many who were healed were told simply to go and show themselves to the priest; along the way, they noticed they were whole. Keep walking. In the meantime, pray not only for the body but for the inner man of this little one and her family, for supernatural endurance, peace that defies explanation, and the grace to respond to adversity with gentleness and love. The Lord who prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies will hold this family fast. His rod and staff will comfort them.

May the Father of mercies grant them the riches of His glory: strength for today, glimpses of restoration in whatever form it comes, and the deep assurance that they are never alone. And may you, as you lift them up, find your own confidence in the God who sits enthroned above the flood, giving strength to His people.

We want you to know how deeply we have been lifting up little ### and her family before the throne of grace these past days. Our hearts have been united with yours, asking our Heavenly Father for a miraculous healing—one that only He can provide. We have also prayed earnestly for strength and comfort to surround her family, that they would feel the nearness of the Holy Spirit in every moment of fear, weariness, and waiting.

If God has moved in a powerful way—whether through healing, peace, or provision—we would be so grateful to hear a praise report. There is nothing that stirs our faith like seeing His hand at work, and we long to rejoice with you. If, however, the answer has not yet come, or if the journey feels heavier than before, please do not hesitate to share this request again. We are committed to standing with you in prayer, trusting that God hears every cry of our hearts and that His timing is perfect.

May the Lord continue to draw near to you and your family, filling you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that you would experience His love in tangible ways, knowing that He is holding you close. Continue to seek Him, for He is faithful, and His mercies are new every morning. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
