Getting strange headaches

Pressure headaches not sure what’s going on but I know we have a mighty healing Jesus Yashua please lay your healing hands upon my whole body, and work your mighty Miracles in our lives they never cease. Praises, amen

We hear your cry for healing and stand with you in faith, believing in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The headaches you describe sound distressing, and we want to lift you up in prayer, trusting that God’s healing touch will bring relief and restoration to your body.

First, we want to affirm that your faith in Jesus, Yeshua, is the foundation of your healing. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or made whole (Acts 4:12). It is through His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we declare that truth over your life today. We also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel, as the Lord often works through the hands of those He has gifted in the field of medicine. Proverbs 15:22 reminds us, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. You are the God who sees and knows every ache, every pain, and every burden we carry. We lift up our dear brother/sister to You now, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon their body. Lord, You formed their inmost being, and You know every cell, every nerve, and every fiber of their being (Psalm 139:13-14). We ask that You would release Your healing power into their life, dissolving the pressure and pain in their head and bringing complete restoration.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or affliction that may be at work in their body. We declare that by the blood of Jesus, they are set free from sickness and disease (1 Peter 2:24). We speak life and wholeness over their body, mind, and spirit, trusting that You are working even now to bring relief. Give them patience and peace as they wait on You, and fill them with the assurance that You are their Healer.

Lord, we also ask that You would reveal any underlying causes of these headaches, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, and bring them into the light. If there is stress, anxiety, or unforgiveness weighing on their heart, we ask that You would minister Your peace and freedom to them. Your Word tells us that a merry heart does good like medicine (Proverbs 17:22), so we pray for joy and laughter to fill their days as they trust in You.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the miracles You perform in our lives. We believe that You are moving on behalf of our brother/sister even now, and we declare that they will walk in divine health and strength. May their testimony bring glory to Your name, and may others see Your goodness and be drawn to You.

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises and speaking His Word over your life. Meditate on Scriptures like Jeremiah 30:17, which says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Keep your heart open to the Holy Spirit’s leading, and trust that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

A pressure headache, you say? Such strange and wearying pains are known to the Lord, who in the days of His flesh bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows. It is a blessed need which makes room for Jesus to come in with miracles of love. When the wine failed at Cana, then His glory shone forth. So your present discomfort is but an empty vessel for His grace to fill.

You have called upon His name, and that is well. Yet remember that the healing balm flows from Calvary, not from our cries. By His stripes we are healed, not by our faith, nor by our groaning, but by those five wounds that speak pardon and health to every soul that looks to them. The least thing about Jesus is full of virtue: if you but touch the hem of His garment now, the pressure may lift, or if it remain, you shall find patience sweeter than the cure. He often links pardon with healing, and His power to deliver from sin is the mightier miracle. Search your heart: is there any unharbored transgression? The Evil One would gladly use bodily distress to drag you down, but Jesus has come to destroy the works of the devil. His presence is terror to fiends.

Consider the miracle of the loaves, and all the mercies He has shown you. Hard hearts and painful unbeliefs spring up in the waste places where we bury our forgotten mercies. Since He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, what He did before He can do again. The power to save from sin does not lie in you, it lies wholly in Jesus Himself. Cast all your care on Him, for He cares for you. Whether He lifts the headache in an instant or gives you to bear it with joy, He is working miracles that never cease. Praises indeed, and amen! The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings, and even now His grace is sufficient.

These pressure headaches of yours, you should first examine whether they spring from some bodily excess. For oftentimes a heavy head comes not from some mysterious ailment but from a table weighed down with too much food and drink. When the belly is distended, it sends up vapors that oppress the brain, and then we wonder why we suffer. The pleasure of indulgence lasts only as long as the swallow, but afterward it pays you back with pain, sleeplessness, and a mind too clouded even to pray.

If this is the case, then the healing you seek is already within your reach, by the practice of moderation and self-control. You ask for Christ to lay His hands upon you, and well you should, for He is the great physician. Yet do not value miracles above the quiet, steady work of grace in your life. It is a far greater wonder to see a soul endure affliction with thanksgiving than to see a body instantly relieved.

The Evil One would love nothing more than for you to fix all your hope on a spectacular healing, for then, if the headache lingers, your faith might wither. But the Lord often delays His miracles precisely to make you strong. Remember how He did not at once multiply the loaves, but first taught the multitudes and tested His disciples, though He had compassion on them even before they asked. He sees your need, but He may be calling you to something higher than a painless head: a heart purged of every secret sin, a life given wholly to His glory.

Seek first the healing of your soul from the fever of pride, the sickness of vainglory, the paralysis of sloth. These are the real plagues that destroy. And do not grieve if you lack some miraculous deliverance, for not all have the gift of healing, nor is it the greatest gift. To teach the truth, to endure hardship with patience, to walk in the fear of God, this is far more precious.

Cry out to Jesus, by all means; He loves to show mercy. But let your prayer be this: that whether He removes this thorn or leaves it, you may love Him more and keep His commandments. For then, even without a miracle, you will be a greater wonder than any man who merely had his headache taken away, and Christ Himself will come and make His home with you.

What you describe makes perfect sense. A pressure headache does not stay neatly confined to one spot. When that kind of pain sets in, it seems to radiate through your whole being. You hurt all over. The body is a unified creation, and when one part suffers, the whole frame feels the weight of it. This is how God designed us, and He knows exactly what you are experiencing right now.

Your cry for Jesus to lay His healing hands upon your whole body is a prayer that reaches the throne. You are asking the Lord to touch not just the symptom but the entire instrument through which you live and move. The body is the medium by which your spirit expresses itself. It is a marvel, fearfully and wonderfully made to withstand pressure and to function in this world. Yet when its balance is disrupted, your mind becomes occupied with the need for relief. That is not weakness; that is simply how we are made.

In this moment of distress, turn to God with your whole heart, just as you have done. Cry out with your full being. The Scriptures show us that a desperate heart poured out before the Lord is one He meets in a dramatic way. He hears you. He stands beside you. Offer this aching body to Him as a living sacrifice. Tell Him, “Lord, here is my body. Use it for Your purposes, and let Your healing power flow through every part of me.” Where you once yielded your members to the weakness and pain of this fallen world, now yield them to His righteousness and wholeness.

There is a profound mystery in how God works His miracles. We live now in a natural body, one that groans under the corruption that sin introduced. This tent we dwell in was never meant to last forever in its present state. Yet while we are in it, we are not without hope. The same power that will one day clothe you in a new body, fashioned like His own glorious body, is at work in you now. God gives a body as pleases Him, and He can bring restoration to the one you have. Those wasted days of pain, the things the enemy tries to steal, He can restore completely.

You are not an isolated part. The whole Body of Christ groans with you. Just as a lead pipe dropped on a toe makes the entire frame ache, your suffering is felt by the many members joined to you. You are needed. You have a vital part to fill, and no one can take your place. So do not think for a moment that this affliction makes you invisible or unimportant. Every part is necessary.

May the God of peace Himself preserve your whole spirit and soul and body blameless. May He bring the healing that only He can give, and may you soon testify that the pressure has lifted, in Jesus’ mighty name. Praises, amen.
