We join with you in bringing this request before the Father in Jesus' name and we rejoice that you have come boldly before His throne through our Lord Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach God and be saved.
We understand your desire to return to a former workplace and that your experience with entertainment media and with iOS may give you an advantage, and we pray with you that the Lord would open the right door according to His perfect will for your life. We are reminded of the promise in Proverbs 16:3, Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed, and in Colossians 3:23, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We also take comfort in Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus. You know the desire of this heart to obtain this job and You know the skills and experience You have entrusted to be used for Your glory. Let Your peace guard this heart while waiting, as it is written in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Remember that our God orders all things according to the infallibility of His purpose. As Job learned in his affliction, the Lord does not act without design. If this door is of the Lord, no man shall shut it, and if it is not for your good and His glory, He will in His mercy withhold it and provide that which is better. Like Job, who sinned not nor charged God foolishly when tried, may you be kept in patience and trust, resting not upon an arm of flesh but upon the faithful providence of your heavenly Father. When we rest most in Him, we often bear most fruit unto Him.
