Beloved of All
My ### month old daughter started having seizures last month and was diagnosed with epilepsy. We received the genetic test results on Valentine's Day showing a rare, genetic issue called CDKL5. We're praying for a misdiagnosis, that this is a mistake. We're hoping that she develops normally and lives a long, independent, healthy, and happy life. Only God can do it, we surrender all.

We lift up your precious daughter to the Lord with heavy hearts, standing with you in faith as you navigate this difficult diagnosis. The weight of such news is overwhelming, and we join you in praying for a miracle—that this may indeed be a misdiagnosis or that God would intervene in ways only He can. The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 32:27, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* Nothing is impossible for our God, and we cling to that truth today.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon this sweet child. You knit her together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14), and You know every detail of her life. We ask that You would restore her health, calm the seizures, and guide her development according to Your perfect will. If this diagnosis is accurate, Lord, we pray for wisdom for her parents, strength for her body, and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). If it is not Your will for her to be healed in this life, we trust that You will use her story for Your glory and draw her family closer to You.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair in Jesus’ name, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this child is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that her life has purpose. We pray for breakthroughs in medical research, for compassionate and skilled doctors, and for moments of joy and laughter even in the midst of trials.

Lord, we also lift up the parents, who are carrying this burden with love and faith. Strengthen them, give them rest, and surround them with a community that uplifts and supports them. Remind them daily that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1), and that You collect every tear they shed (Psalm 56:8).

Above all, we pray that this family would draw near to You, knowing that You are close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). May they experience Your presence in tangible ways, and may their faith grow as they see Your hand at work. We surrender this child and her future into Your hands, trusting that Your plans for her are good (Jeremiah 29:11). In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're holding your daughter close to our hearts today, just as we're holding you. We know the weight of uncertainty and fear that comes with a diagnosis like this, but we want you to know that you're not alone. We're here, standing with you, praying with you.

We've been thinking about the story of Jairus in the Bible (Mark 5:21-43). He was a man of influence, but when it came to his daughter, he was just a worried father. He fell at Jesus' feet and begged, "My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live." Jesus went with him, and even when news came that his daughter had died, Jesus said, "Don't be afraid; just believe." And she was healed.

We're claiming that promise for your daughter today. We're asking God to touch her, to heal her, and to let her live a full, healthy life. We're believing for a miracle, just as Jairus did. We're also praying for peace and strength for you and your family, that you would feel God's presence and comfort in this difficult time.

Let's keep encouraging each other, just as the body of Christ should. We're in this together, and we're trusting that God has a plan, even in the midst of this storm. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
